Itisimportantthatthecorrectfirmwareupdatefilebeusedfortheappropriate
projector.Useofincorrect
firmwarefilecouldrendertheprojectorinoperative.
Customizedsettingsontheprojectorwouldbeerasedduringfirmwareupdate.Notedownthecustomized
settingsandre‐enterafterfirmwareupdateiscompleted.
End‐useragreestousethisfirmwareathisownrisk.End‐user
bearsthetotalresponsibilityforanyfailure
arisingfrominstallingthefirmware.

DriverInstallation:
JVCILA‐FPJUpdaterprogra mshould havebeeninstalledonyourPCatthispoint.NextstepistoinstalltheUSBdriver
sothatPCcancommunicatewiththeprojectorusingUSBconnection.AdministratorlevelaccesstothePCis
requiredtoproceed.
1. PresstheSTANDBY
buttontwicetoputtheprojectorinSTANDBYmode.Unplugthepower cordfromthe
projector.
2. RemovethescrewandcoverlocatedtotheleftoftheACconnectorexposingtheUSBconnector.
3. PlugtheMiniUSBendtotheconnectorontheprojectorandtheotherend
tothePC.
4. PressandholdtheSTANDBYbuttonontheprojectorwhilepluggin ginthepowercord.ThethreeLEDsonthe
projectorshouldbelittoindicateDownloadMode.
5. PCdetectstheprojectorasnewhardwa re.ThenitopensFoundNewHardwareWizardtohelpinstallthe
drivers.
6. IntheHardwareWizardscreen,forthequestion“CanWindowsconnecttoWindowsUpdatetosearchfor
software?”clickon“No,notthistime”,andthenclick“Next”.
