QE1S. With 3-in-1 function, the QE1S helps to

provide comfort all year long:

Fan - Circulates and ventilates room air.

Evaporative Cooler - Transforms warm, dry air into moist, cool air during warmer months. See below

for a detailed description about evaporative cooling.

Humidiﬁer - Helps release moisture to relieve chapping, dry air caused by heating and cold air during

the winter months.

What is Evaporative Cooling?

Quilo

QE1S Evaporative Cooler is built to maximize energy efﬁciency and keep energy costs low.

Warm air is drawn into the cooler and enters the Honeycomb Cooling Media. Water pumped from the

water tank pours over the Honeycomb Cooling Media. As the warm air passes through the Honeycomb

Cooling Media, the water absorbs the heat, naturally cooling and humidifying the air. A fan propels the

cooled air out into the room. This no-compressor system cools naturally, efﬁciently and inexpensively.

SET UP

To maximize efﬁciency, position the Quilo

QE1S according to the following guidelines:

Indoors

Place the unit in front of an open door or window. Ensure that there is adequate cross-ventilation in

the room by leaving a door or window open opposite the cooler.

The recommended maximum relative humidity level is 60% or less, which allows a noticeable

temperature decrease. The temperature will be lower in drier climates because higher evaporation

occurs when the humidity is low.

NOTE

When the product is used for the ﬁrst time the Honeycomb Cooling Media will have an odor which will

dissipate in a few hours or so of initial use.

The Quilo

QE1S should not be used in enclosed spaces. It must be kept level and there must be water

in the water tank. Doors and windows should be opened to allow free air ﬂow. The Quilo

QE1S works

best when placed near an open window, so that outside air is drawn into the unit, circulates in the room,

then exits via the door. The maximum cooling effect is felt when a person is near the ﬂow of air coming

out of the unit. The Quilo

QE1S produces moisture and can be used to humidify dry air. To be used for

humidiﬁcation the windows and doors should be closed.

QE1S. Failure to follow these instructions may damage and/or

impair its operation, create hazards, and void the warranty. In case there is any inconsistency or conﬂict

between the English version and any other language version of the content of this material, the English

version shall prevail.

READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:

Note: Always ensure the water tank is ﬁlled with water above the "min." level mark, when

operating the unit in evaporative Cooling Mode.

Check the household voltage to ensure it matches the appliance’s rating speciﬁcations.

Before operating the product, remove the packaging and check that product is in good condition.

DO NOT operate with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced

with a supply cord which is as per manufacturers speciﬁcations, by the authorized service centre or

its service agent or a similarly qualiﬁed person in order to avoid a hazard.

DO NOT use an extension cord with this unit.

DO NOT run power cord under carpeting, or cover it with rugs or runners. Keep the cord away from

areas where it may be tripped over.

Always unplug the Quilo

QE1S before reﬁlling the water tank, cleaning, servicing or relocating the

unit.

Never pull the cord. Remove it from the electrical outlet/ socket by grasping and pulling on the

plug-end of the cord.

This appliance has been manufactured for use in domestic environments and must not be used for

other purposes.

DO NOT use in areas where gasoline, paint or other ﬂammable goods and objects are stored.

When using the Cool Mode setting, make sure the water in the tank is above the Min. water level

mark in the tank. Operating the unit on the Cool Mode setting with an empty tank may result

in damage to the water pump.

DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions of the Quilo

QE1S, as

this may void the warranty.

DO NOT cover the unit air inlet or outlet, as this may damage the motor.

DO NOT insert or allow objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening, as this may damage the

unit and may cause electrical shock or ﬁre.

DO NOT operate with the Honeycomb Cooling Media removed, as this will overload and damage the

motor.

DO NOT leave the operating appliance unattended for an extended period of time.

DO NOT allow children to play with this appliance, packaging or plastic bags.

DO NOT continue to operate the unit if it is damaged or if it malfunctions. Refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING

section and contact the CUSTOMER SUPPORT CENTER.

Always place the unit on a dry level ﬂoor.

DO NOT use in bathrooms or near water. DO NOT keep the product where it may fall into a water

container.

Store in a dry area when not in use.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be

made by children without supervision.

FUNCTION BUTTONS

Power

Connect the power adapter to the unit and to the electrical socket. Press the button to turn the

unit on. The unit will start automatically at low speed. To turn the unit off, press the button again.

Cool

Press the button to select Cool mode.

Please make sure the water tank is filled with water above the minimum level mark. Pressing the

COOL indicator light on the display screen activates evaporative cooling. The water pump will

operate and you will feel the cooler air after the Honeycomb Cooling Media is completely wet.

Note: When the cooling function is switched OFF, the unit functions in a fan only mode

(without evaporative cooling).

Speed

Press the button repeatedly to change the fan speed between - - - .

The indicator light will show the selected speed:

When AUTO is selected, the wind speed will gradually decrease and increase between the Turbo

and Quiet mode fan speeds.

Quiet/ Turbo Mode

Press the button to select either Quiet or Turbo modes. Quiet mode minimizes wind speed for lower

airflow. Turbo mode blasts wind at higher speeds for stronger airflow.

Timer

Press the button until the desired time duration setting is selected. When the set time has

passed, the unit will automatically turn off (unit remains in Standby mode until power cord is

unplugged from electrical socket). The TIMER function allows you to program the unit for up to 7.5

hours of use.

Swing

Press the button until the SWING indicator light is illuminated on

the display screen. The louvers will begin to move left to right automatically.

REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control requires a CR2032 (1 x 3V) coin type or equivalent battery for replacement.

Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote control and insert the battery inside.

Care must be taken to insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ / –) markings shown

inside the battery compartment.

Always point the remote control signal transmitter towards the unit when operating. Make sure that

the signal path is not obstructed.

Remove the batteries if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time.

Do not drop the remote control.

Do not mix different types of batteries such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable batteries.

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Do not recharge the battery.

Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product and safely disposed of as per local

regulations.

Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

WARNING: Caution for ingestion of the small battery. Keep away from children and animals.

FILLING WITH WATER & ICE (COOL MODE)

Remove the power adapter and cord from the unit and the electrical outlet before emptying or

refilling the water tank. Wait for 2 minutes before removing the Water Tank to allow any excess water

in the Honeycomb Cooling Media to drip into the tank before removing it.

Note: After removing the tank, water from the Honeycomb may continue to drip and collect in the

tank compartment. Simply wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.

CAUTION:

WATER FILTER*

Some models are equipped with a water filter in the tank, which helps to

filter dust, hair and other particles from entering the water tank. Simply pour

water over the filter when refilling the tank.

To clean the water filter, simply push the bottom of the filter cup upwards to

release from the filter frame. Remove dust and hair from the filter sponge and

rinse under clean water. When clean, replace the sponge and secure the

filter cup back into the frame.

AUTO-OFF SAFETY SYSTEM

This unit is equipped with an Auto-Off Safety System. When the water tank is detached from the

unit or if the tank is incorrectly positioned, the unit will turn off automatically. To restart the unit, the

tank must be attached to the unit correctly.

Slide out the Water Tank. Refill the tank when water level is low. Do not fill

water above the "Max." water level mark to avoid water droplets collecting

on the louvers. Check the water level in the tank before running the Cool

Mode function. The Low Water Alarm will sound when water is low. Running

the unit in Cool Mode with inadequate water may cause pump failure.

If ice is available, you may add ice in the top ice compartment to

enhance the cooling performance.

Note: The water capacity refers to the total volume of water that can be

contained within the air cooler water tank and water distribution system.

The water capacity in the tank at the “Max.” indicator level may be lower

than the actual water capacity of the air cooler.

WARNING: Do not fill water tank with dirty water or salt water. This can damage the unit and

Honeycomb media.

LOW WATER ALARM

The unit is equipped with a low water sensor. In Cooling Mode, when water in the tank is below the

minimum level, you will hear a beeping sound and the indicator light will flash continuously. The unit

will automatically pause evaporative cooling.

Refill the water tank to deactivate the alarm in Cooling Mode. First switch OFF the unit and unplug

from the electrical socket. Fill the water tank with water above the minimum water level mark. Plug in

and switch ON again.

To deactivate the alarm and continue using the unit as a fan (without evaporative cooling), switch

the unit OFF and then ON again. The Low Water Alarm will not activate in Fan only mode. The Low

Water Alarm will sound again if the COOL function is activated while the water tank is still empty.

COMFORT LIGHT

When the unit turns on, the water level indicator located at the front of the water tank will light up to

produce an elegant glow. This can be convenient as a Comfort Light during the night. This light will

remain on for as long as the unit is turned on.

CLEANING & DRAINING THE WATER TANK

Slide out and empty the water tank.

Rinse the water tank with clean water.

Carefully remove the Water Tank Filter* (if your unit has this) from the tank. Remove dust and hair

from filter and then rinse with water until clean. Dry and replace the filter back into the water tank.

Use a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust from the surface of the unit. Never use corrosive

elements or chemicals to clean this product.

When the product is not in use, store the unit in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

Before cleaning the unit, switch the unit OFF and disconnect the power adapter from the unit and

electrical socket.

WARNING:

Before cleaning the unit, switch the unit OFF and disconnect the power adapter from the unit and

electrical socket.

Carefully remove the rear grill from the unit.

Remove the two band holders to release the carbon dust

filter*.

Rinse the filter with clean water and let it dry before

re-installing to the rear grill.

Pull out the Honeycomb Cooling Media. Slide down and

remove the Honeycomb Frame.

Replace or clean media with water and a damp cloth as

needed.

WARNING: DO NOT operate the unit when the Rear

Grill is removed from the unit, or if there is a loose-fitting

Rear Grill. Doing so can cause serious injury or

dangerous electrical shock.

Removing the Carbon Dust Filter*/ Honeycomb Cooling Media:

The appliance is supplied with a Carbon Dust Filter*

and Honeycomb Cooling Media.

The Carbon Dust Filter* and Honeycomb Cooling

Media are located inside the Rear Grill. See Figure 1

for instructions on how to remove them from the unit

for cleaning and maintenance.

Do not run the unit in COOL mode with stale water in

the tank. You must empty the water tank

and refill with fresh water, especially if the tank has

not been cleaned in a long time.

The cleaning frequency for the Honeycomb media

depends on local air and water conditions. In areas

where the mineral content of water is high, mineral

deposits may build up on the Honeycomb Cooling

Media and restrict air flow. Draining the water tank

and refilling with fresh water at least once a week will

help reduce mineral deposits. If mineral deposits

remain on the Honeycomb Cooling Media, the media

should be removed and washed under fresh water.

The media should be cleaned every two months or

sooner, depending on your needs.

For best results allow the Honeycomb Cooling Media

to dry after each use by turning off the cool function

15 minutes before turning the unit off.

Carbon Dust

STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

Carbon Dust Filter is available in speciﬁc models of Quilo QE1S only. *

Below is a general guideline for maintenance and storage of your unit.

WARNING: Always switch OFF the QE1S and unplug it from the electrical source before

cleaning or maintenance.

Cleaning

At least once a week, drain the water tank completely and reﬁll with fresh water. Doing this will greatly

reduce mineral deposits and help to extend the life of the Honeycomb Cooling Media.

End of Season Storage

If the QE1S will not be used for a long time:

•

Make sure all parts are dry by running the Fan Only mode for about 1 to 2 hours before storing (time

depends on ambient humidity conditions).

Switch OFF the QE1S and unplug from the power supply.

Empty/drain all the water from the tank.

Clean the water tank with a damp cloth to wipe away any dust or mineral deposits.

Remove the Honeycomb Cooling Media and Carbon Dust Filter* from the QE1S and rinse under

fresh water to remove dust and dirt.

Replace the Honeycomb Cooling Media and Carbon Dust Filter* after they are clean and dry.

To protect the unit from dust, moisture and scratches, cover with a clean cloth, tarp or plastic bag

before storing.

Coil the power cord and store it away from the ﬂoor to protect it.

Store this unit at room temperature in a dry location, away from direct sunlight and/or very hot, cold

or damp environments.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Customer Service Center: See the last page of the User Manual to ﬁnd the contact details for the

Customer Service Center for your area.

No discharge of air. Cord is not plugged in.

Make sure power cord is plugged in and the switch is

ON.

Turn the unit ON by pressing the power button on the

control panel or remote control.

Check the Honeycomb Cooling Media. If you see mold

spots on the media or suspect an algae issue, remove

and replace the Honeycomb Cooling Media. Contact

the Customer Service Center for more information.

Check water tank & other product parts. If you see

mold spots or suspect an algae issue, use a damp

cloth to wipe away the algae until all spots have

disappeared. Make sure all parts are clean & dry

before storage. Contact the Customer Service Center

if problem persists.

Turn on Cool Mode function from remote or control panel.

Reﬁll water tank.

Contact Customer Service Center.

When the unit is used for the ﬁrst time, the

Honeycomb Cooling Media will have an odor, which

will dissipate within a few hours of initial use.

Replace with new batteries. Follow the polarity guide

inside the battery compartment.

If replacing new batteries in the correct position does

not work, contact the Customer Service Center.

Try to activate the unit with the Remote Control. If the

unit responds, then the Control Panel on the unit may

be experiencing problems - contact the Customer

Service Center.

If neither the Remote Control or the Control Panel is

working, contact the Customer Service Center.

Power is not ON.

Pump is not turned ON.

Low or no water in tank, when

COOL is selected.

The QE1S Cooling Mode is best in dry climates. If the ambient

humidity level is high (60% or above), refrain from using the

QE1S Cooling Mode until ambient humidity is reduced.

In Cooling Mode, make sure the window/doors are

open and there is adequate cross-ventilation in the

room so that the moisturized air can circulate better.

Do not use the evaporative cooling function on days

with high ambient humidity.

In Cooling Mode, the QE1S

produces moisture as a result of

evaporative cooling. This is

normal.

Qu’est-ce que le refroidissement par évaporation?

Les refroidisseurs d’air par évaporation portatifs de Quilo

QE1S sont conçus aﬁn de maximiser

l’efﬁcacité énergétique à faibles coûts. L’air chaud est aspiré dans le refroidisseur et entre dans le système

de refroidissement en nid d’abeilles. L’eau pompée du réservoir se déverse sur le système de

refroidissement en nid d’abeilles. Lorsque l’air chaud circule dans le système de refroidissement en nid

d’abeilles, l’eau absorbe la chaleur, refroidissant et humidiﬁant naturellement l’air. Un ventilateur projette

l’air refroidi dans la pièce. Ce système sans compresseur rafraîchit d’une façon naturelle, efﬁcace et peu

coûteuse.

Le taux d’humidité relative maximal recommandé est de 60 % ou moins, ce qui permet une

diminution perceptible de la température. La température sera plus faible en climat sec, car une plus

grande évaporation se produit lorsque l’humidité est faible.

REMARQUE

Lorsque l’appareil sera utilisé pour la première fois, une odeur se dégagera du système de refroidisse-

ment en nid d’abeilles, puis se dissipera dans les quelques heures suivant l’utilisation initiale.

Aﬁn d’en maximiser l’efﬁcacité, positionnez le refroidisseur d’air conformément aux directives suivantes :

Le Quilo

QE1S ne doit pas être utilisé dans des espaces clos. Il doit être de niveau et son réservoir

doit contenir de l’eau en tout temps. Les portes et fenêtres doivent être ouvertes pour permettre la

circulation d’air. L’efﬁcacité du refroidisseur d’air par évaporation est optimale lorsqu’il est placé près

d’une fenêtre ouverte de manière à ce que l’air extérieur y soit aspiré, puis circule dans la

pièce et en sorte par la porte. Pour ressentir l’effet de refroidissement maximal, il convient de demeurer

à proximité de l’air sortant du Quilo

QE1S. Le refroidisseur d’air par évaporation produit de l’humidité

et peut être utilisé pour humidiﬁer l’air sec. S’il est utilisé pour l’humidiﬁcation, les fenêtres et portes

doivent être fermées.

REMARQUE : S’assurer à tout moment que l’eau dans le réservoir dépasse la marque du

niveau « min. », lorsque le refroidisseur d’air fonctionne en mode REFROIDISSEMENT par

évaporation.

Vériﬁez la tension résidentielle aﬁn de s’assurer qu’elle convient aux spéciﬁcations de l’appareil.

Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, il convient de le déballer et de s’assurer qu’il est en bon état.

NE PAS utiliser avec une prise ou un cordon endommagés. Si le cordon d'alimentation est

endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un cordon d'alimentation conforme aux spéciﬁcations du

fabricant, par le centre de service agréé, son intermédiaire de service ou une personne qualiﬁée aﬁn

d'éviter tout danger.

NE PAS utiliser une rallonge électrique avec cet appareil.

NE PAS faire passer le cordon électrique sous la moquette ou le recouvrir avec un tapis ou un

chemin de couloir. Garder le cordon à l’écart des endroits où ils risquent de causer une chute.

Toujours débrancher le refroidisseur d’air avant d’en remplir le réservoir d’eau, de le nettoyer, d’en

faire l’entretien ou de le déplacer.

Ne jamais tirer sur le cordon. Pour débrancher l’appareil, il convient de saisir la ﬁche et de la retirer

hors de la prise électrique.

Cet appareil a été fabriqué pour être utilisé en milieu domestique et ne doit pas être utilisé à d’autres

ﬁns.

NE PAS utiliser dans des endroits où de l’essence, de la peinture ou d’autres produits ou objets

inﬂammables sont rangés.

RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ (SUITE)

NE PAS insérer ou laisser un objet pénétrer dans une quelconque ouverture de ventilation ou d’

évacuation, car cela risque d’endommager l’appareil et de causer une décharge électrique ou un

incendie.

NE PAS faire fonctionner l’appareil sans le système de refroidissement en nid d’abeilles, car cela

surchargera et endommagera le moteur.

NE PAS laisser l’appareil en marche sans surveillance durant une longue période.

NE PAS permettre aux enfants de jouer avec cet appareil, son emballage ou les sacs en plastique.

NE PAS continuer d’utiliser l’appareil s’il est endommagé ou ne fonctionne pas correctement. Se

référer à la section DÉPANNAGE et communiquer avec le SERVICE À LA CLIENTÈLE.

L’appareil doit en tout temps être déposé sur une surface plane et sèche.

NE PAS utiliser dans les salles de bain ou près de l’eau. NE PAS placer l’appareil à un endroit où il

risque de tomber dans un contenant d’eau.

Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé, le ranger dans un endroit sec.

Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus, ainsi que des personnes ayants

des capacités réduites au niveau physique, sensoriel ou mental, ou un manque d’expérience et de

connaissances si ils ont été supervisés ou instruits à propos de l’utilisation de l’appareil de manière

sûre et s’ils ont compris les risques encourus. Les enfants de devront pas jouer avec l’appareil. Le

nettoyage ou la maintenance ne devra pas être effectuée par des enfants, sauf si ces derniers sont

TÉLÉCOMMANDE

Interrupteur

Brancher le chargeur électrique au refroidisseur et à la prise électrique. Appuyer sur le bouton

pour allumer l'appareil. Le refroidisseur démarrera automatiquement à faible vitesse. Pour teindre

l'appareil, appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton.

Refroidissement

Appuyer sur le bouton pour sélectionner le mode Refroidir.

S'assurer que le niveau d'eau dans le réservoir se situe au-dessus de la marque du niveau

minimum. Le fait d'appuyer sur le voyant (REFROIDISSEMENT ) sur l'écran d'affichage

active le refroidissement par évaporation. La pompe à air se mettra à fonctionner et vous sentirez

l'air frais lorsque le dispositif de refroidissement Honeycomb sera complètement mouillé.

Remarque: Lorsque la fonction de refroidissement est éteinte, l'appareil peut encore fonctionner

seulement en mode ventilateur (sans refroidissement par évaporation).

Appuyer sur le bouton de la à plusieurs reprises pour changer

la vitesse entre - - - . Le voyant indiquera la vitesse choisie:

Lorsque AUTO est sélectionné, la vitesse du vent diminuera et augmentera graduellement entre les

vitesses de ventilateur Mode Turbo et Mode Discret.

Mode Discret/ Mode Turbo

Appuyer sur le bouton pour sélectionner soit le Mode Turbo, soit le Mode Discret.

Le Mode Turbo souffle du vent à une vitesse élevée pour un flux d'air plus fort. Le Mode Discret

minimise la vitesse du vent pour un flux d'air plus faible.

Minuterie

Appuyer sur le bouton jusqu’à ce que le temps désiré soit réglé. Lorsque l’heure réglée est

atteinte, l’appareil s’éteint automatiquement (l’unité reste en mode Veille jusqu’à ce que le cordon

d’alimentation soit débranché de la prise électrique). La fonction MINUTERIE vous permet de

programmer l’appareil afin qu’il fonctionne pendant 7,5 heures au maximum.

Appuyer sur le bouton jusqu’à ce que le symbole s’affiche à l’écran

d’affichage. Les grilles d’aération commenceront à osciller de gauche à

droite automatiquement.

Pour la remplacer, il convient de se procurer une pile plate CR2032 (1 x 3V) ou l’équivalent.

Ouvrir le compartiment de la pile à l’arrière de la télécommande et insérer une pile plate à

l’intérieur. Veiller à respecter l’indication de polarité (+ / –) qui se trouve à l’intérieur du

compartiment de pile.

Lorsque la commande est utilisée, le signal du transmetteur doit toujours être pointé vers

l’appareil. Il convient de s’assurer que des objets ne font pas obstacle au signal.

Enlever les piles si l’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé pendant une période prolongée.

Ne pas laisser tomber la télécommande.

Ne pas mélanger les différents types de piles telles que les piles alcalines, carbone-zinc ou

rechargeables.

Ne pas mélanger de vieilles piles avec des neuves.

Ne pas recharger la pile.

Les piles déchargées doivent être retirées de l'appareil et éliminées en toute sécurité

conformément aux réglementations locales.

Ne pas jeter les piles au feu. Elles peuvent exploser ou couler.

ATTENTION: Faire preuve de prudence pour éviter l'ingestion de la petite pile.

Garder loin des enfants et des animaux.

REMPLISSAGE AVEC DE L'EAU ET DE LA GLACE (MODE REFROIDIR)

Enlever l'adaptateur de courant et le câble de l'appareil et de la prise électrique avant de vider ou

de remplir de nouveau le réservoir d'eau. Attendre 2 minutes avant d'enlever le réservoir d'eau afin

de permettre à tout excès d'eau présent dans le dispositif de refroidissement Honeycomb de

s'écouler dans le réservoir.

Remarque: après avoir enlevé le réservoir, il se peut que l'eau provenant du dispositif

Honeycomb continue à s'écouler et s'amasser dans le compartiment du réservoir.

Essuyer avec un linge propre et sec.

ATTENTION :

FILTRE À EAU*

Certains modèles sont équipés d'un filtre à eau situé dans le réservoir et qui

permet d'empêcher la poussière, les poils/cheveux et autres particules de

pénétrer dans le réservoir à eau. Verser simplement de l'eau sur le filtre lors

du re-remplissage du réservoir.

Pour nettoyer le filtre à eau, il suffit de pousser le fond du bol du filtre

vers le haut pour le sortir du cadre du filtre. Enlever la poussière et les

poils/cheveux du filtre éponge et rincer à l'eau claire. Une fois propre,

remettre l'éponge et fixer le bol du filtre dans le cadre.

SYSTÈME DE SÉCURITÉ À ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE

Cet appareil est équipé d'un système de sécurité à arrêt automatique. Lorsque le réservoir d'eau

est séparé de l'appareil ou si le réservoir est mal positionné, le refroidisseur d'air s'éteindra

automatiquement. Pour redémarrer le refroidisseur, le réservoir doit être fixé correctement à

l'appareil.

Faire glisser le réservoir d'eau. Re-remplir le réservoir lorsque le niveau

d'eau est bas. Ne pas remplir au dessus du niveau d'eau « Max. » afin

d'éviter que des gouttes d'eau s'amassent sur les persiennes. Vérifier le

niveau d'eau dans le réservoir avant de mettre en marche la fonction

REFROIDISSEMENT. L'alarme de bas niveau d'eau sonnera lorsque le

niveau de l'eau sera bas. Faire fonctionner l'appareil en mode REFROID-

ISSEMENT avec une quantité inadéquate d'eau peut causer une panne de

la pompe.

Si vous disposez de glace, vous pouvez en ajouter dans le compartiment à

glace situé en haut afin d'améliorer la performance de refroidissement.

Remarque: la capacité en eau se réfère au volume total d'eau pouvant être

contenu dans le réservoir d'eau du refroidisseur d'air et le système de distribution d'eau. La

capacité en eau dans le réservoir au niveau « Max. » peut être plus basse que la capacité en eau

réelle du refroidisseur d'air.

AVERTISSEMENT: ne pas remplir le réservoir d'eau avec de l'eau sale ou de l'eau salée. Cela peut

endommager l'appareil et le dispositif Honeycomb.

AVERTISSEUR DE BAS NIVEAU D’EAU

L’appareil est muni d’un capteur de bas niveau d’eau. En mode Refroidissement, lorsque l’eau du

réservoir n’atteint plus le niveau minimal, un bip se fait entendre et le symbole le voyant clignote

automatiquement. Le refroidissement par évaporation cessera alors automatiquement.

Remplir le réservoir d’eau pour désactiver l’avertisseur en mode REFROIDISSEMENT. Éteindre en

premier lieu l’appareil et le débrancher de la prise électrique. Remplir le réservoir d’eau en

dépassant la marque de niveau minimal. Brancher et mettre en marche de nouveau.

Pour désactiver l’avertisseur et continuer d’utiliser l’appareil en tant que ventilateur (sans

refroidissement par évaporation), éteindre l’appareil et le remettre en marche. En mode

VENTILATEUR l’avertisseur de bas niveau d’eau ne s’activera pas. L’avertisseur de bas niveau

d’eau retentira de nouveau si la fonction REFROIDISSEMENT est activée alors que le réservoir d’eau

est toujours vide.

AGRÉABLE LUMIÈRE:

Lorsque l'appareil s'allumera, le voyant du niveau d'eau situé devant le réservoir d'eau s'allumera et

émettra une lueur agréable. Cela peut être commode pour servir de lumière de nuit. Cette lumière

restera allumée tant que le refroidisseur d'air sera allumé.

NETTOYAGE ET VIDANGE DU RÉSERVOIR D'EAU

Faire glisser le réservoir d'eau.

Rincer le réservoir d'eau à l'eau claire.

Retirer avec précaution le filtre du réservoir d'eau* (si votre appareil en a un) du réservoir. Retirer

la poussière et les poils/cheveux du filtre puis rincer à l'eau jusqu'à ce qu'il soit propre. Sécher et

replacer le filtre dans le réservoir d'eau.

Utiliser un chiffon humide pour enlever la saleté et la poussière de la surface de l'appareil. Ne

jamais utiliser d'éléments corrosifs ou de produits chimiques pour nettoyer ce produit.

Lors de l'utilisation du produit, stocker l'appareil dans un endroit sec à l'abri de la lumière directe

du soleil.
