Barco ClickShare CSM-1 is a wireless presentation system that lets you share your screen with others in a meeting room. 1.1 General

When plugged into Mac running OS X 10 Sierra, ClickShare buttons can’t connect to the
base unit.
Affected devices
• CSM-1 unit with version 1.06.01.0004 and versions below
• CSC-1 unit with version 1.09.02.0003 and versions below
• CS-100 unit with version 1.03.01.0003 and below
• CSE-200 unit with version 1.03.01.0005 and below
Solution
Due to changes in the MAC OS X, the ClickShare screen capturing client on the Button
cannot be started. Follow the steps below to get your ClickShare device being able to work
on MAC OS X.
Update your Base Unit to the latest firmware version (available from Barco’s website,
w
ww.barco.com). After the Bas e Unit update, pair and update the Buttons with the Base
Unit to make sure that the ClickShare Button also has the latest capturing client.
If it is not possible to pair the Buttons with the Base Unit, there is the option to update the
Buttons over WiFi on a Windows laptop. Please be informed that the update over WiFi can
take up to 10 minutes.
The new software versions on the Base Unit should be at least:
• CSM-1 unit with version 1.06.02.0005 and above
• CSC-1 unit with version 1.09.03.0006
• CS-100 unit with version 1.03.01.0003 and above
• CSE-200 unit with version 1.03.01.0005 and above
