7. iPod/iPhone/iPad
Connect iPod/iPhone/iPad cable into the USB port. Select source "iPod" from the remote or
front panel “MODE” button. If there is no iPod connected, "NO IPOD" will be displayed. If
there is an iPod connected correctly, the system will read the iPod and shows “iPod” on
display panel. The function buttons used for CD playback work exactly the same way with
iPod.
◈ Operating iPod
MENU, ENTER, -10DN, +10UP buttons are used for operating iPod.
1) “MENU” button is used for go back to upper menu or rotate Playlists / Artists / Songs /
Albums / Composers / Genres / Compilations menus of your iPod.
2) “-10DN” and “+10UP” buttons are used for move up and down at selected menu.
3) "ENTER" button is used for selecting menu or song.
8. PC connection
Aura note V2 can play any music or movie files from your PC up to 192kHz/24bit files. The
digital chain within Aura note V2 is a pure high-end audio class and you don't have to buy
separate USB DAC or similar products to listen to the quality audio. Simply connect a USB
cable (included) between your computer and the side panel USB port on Aura note V2. You
may need to select Aura note V2 as the external audio device using your PC's control panel.
To listen PC sound, use Aura note V2's “Mode” button to select "PC" or press "PC" from the
remote. Both PC and Aura note V2 have volume controls. You will need to use both for
optimum results, with the computer's volume controls typically at maximum. If you connect
your monitor to your screen or TV, you can easily enter into the realm of the real PC-based
home theater.
9. Digital OPT in
Aura note V2 has a very high quality internal digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that can
improve the sound of many digital devices-CD players or cable and satellite receivers.
Simply connect a standard digital optical cable from such a device to the OPT input on the
back of Aura note V2. Some DVD players or Blu-ray players have their own setup menu to
set the digital output. Do not forget to set the digital output mode as "PCM" mode.
10. AUX 1, 2
The auxiliary inputs allow you to connect any audio source with two-channel output: DVD
player, cable TV receiver, etc. You can also connect a turntable if you have an outboard
phono preamp. Connect the left and right channel outputs to Aura note V2‟s “AUX” inputs
using RCA cables. Make sure the volume is down before you do so. Some devices, such as
cable boxes and digital video recorders, have their own volume controls. The foolproof
approach is to set the volume output high on these devices and use Aura note V2 to control
