Your Accents U:Pod Capsule Coffee Machine
a
llows you to bring the coffee shop experience
into your own home, by creating a variety of
different coffee, tea and other hot drinks. The
d
iagrams below are a simple guide to the
optimum ratios of coffee, milk and water which
m
ake up your favourite coffee shop drinks.
The Espresso shot should produce about 2-3mm
of crema with a rich, dark brown coffee
underneath (the exact colour will vary depending
on the type of capsule you select).
The Accents U:Pod Capsule Coffee Machine is
pre-set to dispense 40ml of coffee for an
espresso shot.
For a longer drink, select the Lungo Button (9) for
a 110ml shot of coffee. Alternatively, extract a
second Espresso shot.
If you are making an Americano, fill your cup with
hot water first, then dispense your coffee shot
into the hot water to preserve the crema.
For making hot chocolate or milky coffees, you
can use a milk U:Pod capsule, by inserting it into
the machine and pressing the Lungo Button (9).

When making a cup of tea (150ml-180ml) we
r
ecommend using 1 capsule, for a mug of tea
(250ml) use 2 capsules (depending on your
strength and taste preferences)
When dispensing water, press and hold the
Lungo Button (9) or Espresso Button (8) until you
h
ave dispensed the desired amount of tea into
your cup. (Full instructions for adjusting the brew
s
ettings can be found on page 7)
By doing this, you are adjusting the brew setting
for the Lungo or Espresso Button, and therefore
every time this button is pressed for future uses,
the machine will dispense the quantity you
programmed yourself. If you wish to reset the
machine back to factory settings, follow the
instructions on page 8.
