Glitel GT-316 Caller ID analog phone comes with a variety of convenient features to enhance your calling experience. With Caller ID support, you can easily identify incoming callers and avoid unwanted interruptions. The LCD display keeps you updated on important information such as phone number, number of calls received, date, and time. Important Safety Instructions
To use the phone set to avoid risk of fire, electric shock, injury, personal injury or property
damage, observe the following safety guidelines:
1. Read all instructions carefully so you understand them.
2. Follow all warnings associated with the product.
3. Unplug the device from the line cord. Use a damp or antistatic cloth, never a dry cloth.
Avoid using chemical cleaners that may contain inappropriate aggressive elements
damaging surfaces.
4. Do not use this product near water, for example. in the shower, sink, kitchen sink and
washing machine, on wet surfaces or by the pool.
5. Do not place the product on an unstable surface, stand or table. Otherwise the product
may fall, which may cause serious damage. Place the unit on a non-slip backing that the
feet have left marks on the furniture.
6. Place the unit at least 1m from any radio communication devices.
7. Use only specified types of batteries according to the instructions manual.
8. Do things to be put on the line cord. Do not place the product where it could damage the
cable.
9. Reliable function of the device is between 5 ° C to 40 ° C.
10. Never push any objects into the device through openings in the cabinet. Avoid spilling
any liquid on the product.
11. If repairs are required, disassemble the device yourself, but contact a qualified
technician or service center. Opening or removing covers may expose you to certain risks.
Incorrect reassembly can cause destruction of the product in subsequent operations.
12. If the following circumstances occur, the product line cord and unplug the device
serviced by a qualified service center:
a) if it is damaged line cord or plug is damaged
b) if the product was poured liquid
c) if the product has been exposed to rain or splashing water
d) if the product does not even complying with the instructions as directed
e) if the unit has been dropped or the housing damaged
f) if the product is a special report
13. Avoid using a telephone during a storm. There is a risk of electric shock from
lightning.
14. To report a gas leak, do not use the phone near the leak itself.
15. When using the device can be exposed to health-endangering. Used plastic parts are
made of recycled granules. On the outer cardboard packaging use exclusively of
recyclable material.

III. Phone settings
Phone installation
1) Unscrew the battery cover screw (13) on battery cover (12) and pull off the battery
cover.
2) Put in 3 batteries 1,5 V type AAA. Maintain the correct polarity (+ a -).
LCD display (1) is active only when the batteries are put in correctly.
3) Coiled cord to connect the base unit and handset phone (from left).
4) Regular telephone cord to connect the base unit and plug the phone (from the top side).
Using of batteries
Follow these instructions to use the batteries in the phone set:
1. Batteries supplied in the package are only introductory and serve to test the functions of
telephone set. For the operation of a telephone set, we recommend to buy alkaline batteries
1,5 V type AAA (LR-03, SUM4).
2. Maintain correct polarity. Reverse polarity could destroy the device.
3. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent
damage.
Wall mount
Mark the place where you to mount the phone. Mark the distance of 100 mm vertically
down two drilled holes. Into drilled holes insert an anchor bolts to tighten them. Between
the bottom edge of the bolt head and the wall leave the distance about 5-7 mm. To hang up
the phone two screws and slide it downward to firmly abuts.

Settings
On your phone you can set up date and time. Only after set these settings are these data
displayed in call register.
1. Place the handset next to the base.
2. With one hand press the hook switch (9) and held throughout the whole setup.
3. The other hand, press the button ( )and hold for about 3 seconds.
4. The display shows the mask to enter the date and time 1/1 0:00.
day/month hours:minutes
With buttons on button keypad (10) gradually enter the month, day, hour, minute and your
entry confirm with button CANC (4).
Example: 7. February 2:35 A.M.. For this entry enter in a row: 0 7 0 2 0 2 3 5 and confirm
it with button CANC (4).
5. After completion of setting the date and time you can release hook switch (9).
Note: If you have active caller ID service, it is not necessary to enter the date and time via
the keypad. Date and time of your phone device is automatically updated whenever you
receive calls.

IV. Using the phone
a) Receiving a Call
When the phone rings, pick up the handset to answer a call.
b) Making a phone call
Pick up the handset and press the number key to dial out.
c) Ending a Call
When you finish your conversation, put back the handset to the cradle to end the call.
d) Flash
If your device is connected to a PBX, key Flash R (6) is used to access some of features of
PBX your units. Pressing the button suspend the line for 100 ms.
e) Redial
Press the button Redial (7), to make a last dialed number.
f) Pause
If pressed during dialing button (7), you will put gap into the option in length 3,5 s.
This feature is used mainly for the auto redial (7). Always use Pause, if you wait for a
second dial tone leaving the state line of PBX.
g) Ringer settings
Set the ringer volume with Ringer volume switch (8) to higher (bigger bell) or to lower
(smaller bell).

V. Caller ID feature
Caller ID feature allows you to view caller's phone number on the screen before answering
call. In order to use this feature, you must first subscribe to the service from your service
provider. Information on the date and time of call is provided by your service provider. If
the call came from another time zone, time will show that that is in your time zone.
1.) The phone states
If the call is coming from the telephone company that provides Caller ID
feature (including international calls) or calling me turned on CLIR,
which does not display the number calling, so to display an icon
indicating the status and the phone number instead of dashes are displayed.
2.) View a list of call
The phone automatically stores the last 80 calls. Press the button (2) to display the
previous call. Pressing the button (3) is displayed newer call.
3.) Deleting data from a list
The phone automatically stores the last 80 calls. If another call is recorded, the first call is
automatically deleted and a new call will be stored.
a) To delete a stored call
1. Place the handset next to the base, with one hand press and hold the hook switch
throughout the deleting.
2. Pressing the button (2) or the button (3) display the number you want to delete.
3. Press the confirm button CANC (4) twice in a row and number displayed will be erased.
b) To delete the entire list at once
1. Place the handset next to the base, with one hand press and hold the hook switch
throughout the deleting.
2. Pressing the button (2) or the button (3) display a number of calls.
3. Pressing and holding the button CANC (4) more than 4 seconds will number flashes on
the display, then press the button CANC (4) again to confirm, then deleted the whole list.
4.) Callback number from the list
1. Lift the handset.
2. Pressing the button (2) or the button (3) display the number you want to call.
3. Press the dial button (5) to call selected number.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS:
GLITEL Stropkov, s.r.o. gives the buyer a guarantee of quality, completeness and
functionality of the product. The warranty applies only in a country where the product
was purchased.
The warranty period for the device is 24 months. The warranty period for batteries is 6
months. The warranty period starts from date of purchase, confirmed that the vendor
warranty. The warranty period is extended for the period during which the product is in
warranty repair.
Demonstrably incurred failure caused by defective materials, components, faulty design
or faulty construction, remove GLITEL Stropkov, s.r.o. within the warranty period in
its service. In the event of unrecoverable failure during the warranty period the
purchaser is entitled to a replacement product.
If the warranty period of product malfunction occurs, which was not caused by the
buyer or the person who uses the product, the product will be repaired free of charge,
provided that:
• customer shall submit a duly completed and certified letter of guarantee, which
indicates that the product is submitted for repair during the warranty period
the operating rules were complied with and procedures according to the instruction
manual
• the product not made any adjustments, repairs, tampering is not tampered with sealing
plate
the product has been stored in hot, humid, dusty, chemically aggressive, or otherwise
harmful environment
Warranty does not cover defects that result from:
• wear due to use of the product
• Surge
• Disaster
• Spill liquid on the product of severe shock, etc.
If the repair of the product will be detected failure, not covered by warranty repair costs
paid by the buyer in full. Requirements for warranty repair claims are by your dealer.
The product sent for warranty repair, should be properly packaged with the correct
address. GLITEL Stropkov, s.r.o. not responsible for damage during transport.

Purpose of use
The device was developed and adapted for connection to a public switched
telecommunications network (VTS) with K2 interface (analog 2-wire). VTS device to
cooperate in signaling through a frequency option. The device meets the technical
regulation of telecommunications TPT-TPT T 5-1 and T-8 in force for the Slovak
Republic.

meets all relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC.
