Introduction

The Audio CrossPlay by Cables To Go is ideal for sharing portable devices among

different outputs. It is also ideal for sharing two separate portable audio devices between

two users. With a simple touch of a button you can send one or both of the audio inputs

over either audio output. Plug in two different MP3 players and listen to one or both over

your headphones, speakers, or both. Or, connect your laptop or desktop and switch

between your headphones and speakers without having to disconnect your

speakers/headphones each time. The convenient mute feature allows you to mute each

output independently so you can leave everything connected even when not in use. With

the Audio CrossPlay, the possibilities are abundant!

Some examples of applications include:

• Switch between connected inputs and outputs to utilize all your portable audio

equipment easily

• Share one speaker and headphone set between two computers

• Perfect for desktop/laptop users to listen to computer audio files over the

computer speakers while using a headset to talk on a VOIP chat

• Plug in an iPod™ and a Creative Zen™ and listen to either one over the speakers

or headphones, or both! Or, listen to the Zen through the headphones and the

iPod through the speakers at the same time.

• Use in the car to plug in a DVD player and an MP3 player and two headphones.

You can now have two users share the same audio output or a listen to a different

audio output over separate headphones without disturbing other passengers

• Ideal in commercial applications to distribute two different audio sources over

two different audio devices.

Installation

1. Connect the USB Mini-B end of the wall charger to the Audio CrossPlay and plug

the other end into a wall outlet. Or connect the USB Mini-B end of the USB

cable into the Audio CrossPlay and the USB A Male end into an available USB

port on your computer.

2. Connect your audio inputs such as your MP3 players, CD/DVD players into the

ports labeled In1 and In2 using 3.5mm (1/8 inch) audio cables.

3. Connect your audio outputs such as your headphone and speakers into the ports

labeled Out1 and Out2 using standard 3.5mm (1/8 inch) audio cables.

4. You can now listen to your audio inputs on either of the audio outputs. You can

listen to one or both inputs over one or both outputs simultaneously. Or you can

independently mute one or both inputs at the same time when not in use.

Please note: Only one 3.5mm audio cable is included. Additional cables can be
