INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. To change the batteries:
Twist the housing at the bottom of the mill to align the arrow mark
with the ‘un-lock’ symbol
on the barrel of the mill.
Remove the battery housing and insert 4 AA batteries ensuring the
+/- terminals are the correct way round. N.B. Before inserting the
batteries ensure the power switch is turned to the OFF position.
Re-assemble the battery casing and twist to lock.

2. To fill the mill:
The Easyfill Electronic mill can be used to grind both coarse sea salt
or peppercorns with its dual purpose ceramic mechanism.
NOTE: Rock salt is not recommended and could damage the
mechanism.
To fill, first ensure the grind mechanism is closed by turning
clockwise the central post at the top of the mill. Turn the funnel part
of the mill by 180 degrees (it will twist in either direction) to expose
the fill holes. Pour salt or pepper into the funnel. Ensure any excess
is removed before closing the funnel (turn 180 degrees).
3. To use the mill:
Ensure the power switch on the base of the mill is turned to the
ON position.
Adjust the grind mechanism according to your preference for fine
or coarse ground salt/pepper. TIP: To prevent peppercorns/salt from
blocking the mechanism when adjusting from coarse to fine, keep
the mill running when making the adjustment. N.B. The fully open
setting is for coarse ground pepper only, salt will pour out on
this setting so ensure it is adjusted accordingly. Turn clockwise
for a finer grind, anti-clockwise for coarser.
Invert the mill over your food to start the grind mechanism. The
mechanism will start automatically when the mill is held upside-
down. To stop, return the mill to the upright position.

• Do not submerge the mill in water.
• Wipe with a clean damp cloth.

from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote
the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used
device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product
for environmental safe recycling.
GUARANTEE
This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or
replace the product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries)
free of charge if within 2 years of the date of purchase, it can be
shown to have failed through defective workmanship or materials.
This guarantee covers working parts that aect the function of the
scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear
and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking
apart the scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims
under guarantee must be supported by proof of purchase and be
returned carriage paid to Salter (or local Salter appointed agent if
outsidew the UK). Care should be taken in packing the scale so that
it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to
a consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any
