Frozen food-stuffs should not be in contact with unfrozen ones!
Each package must have the label, where the name of foodstuffs, its
loading date and storage term should be indicated.
The storage terms of frozen foodstuffs in months are indicated in the
pictogram 9. The fresh food storage compartment is intended to be used for
storing of fresh foodstuffs.
At the beginning the knob of the thermostat should be turned to the
position "3", if foodstuffs are too cold - to the position "1" - "3", if
foodstuffs are not enough cold - to the position "3" - "5".
The recommended storage terms should be kept in order to avoid
unpleasant odour in the compartment.
Liquids or foodstuffs absorbing or spreading odours (fish, cheese, butter
and etc.) should be stored in closed utensils.
Prior to loading into the refrigerator, foodstuffs must be cooled to the
room temperature.
MAKING OF ICE
The special tray 10 is provided for ice making. It should be filled with
potable water and placed on a shelf of the low temperature compartment.
Ice pieces are easily separated holding them for five minutes at the room
temperature.
REFRIGERATOR DEFROSTING
The evaporator of the fresh food storage compartment is melting
constantly, when the compressor is not running. For that reason the back wall
nay be covered by frost or only by dew. The melting water is constantly flowing to
the tray on the top of the compressor.
The freezing compartment is to be defrosted mannually if evaporator is
covered by frost of thickness more than 5 mm , the evaporator of the fresh
food storage compartment autodefrosts constantly.
For defrosting of the low-temperature compartment it is
necessary:
to disconnect the refrigerator from the mains;
to remove foodstuffs, to place item into containers, to cover them with a
heavy to leave the door of the compartment open.
the melted water, collected on the bottom, clean wiping with a sponge.
The defrosting time can be accelerated placing an utensil with hot water into the
compartment.
