WARNING
DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR
Failure to follow the warnings and informa-
tion in these instructions and on product
labels could result in serious injury to your
child or other vehicle occupants.
According to accident statistics, children
are safer when properly restrained in the
rear vehicle seating positions than in the
front seating positions.
Child restraint systems should be securely
belted to the vehicle, even when they are
not occupied, since in a crash an unse-
cured child restraint system may injure
other occupants.
Use only in rear-facing position when
using it in the vehicle.
WARNING
DO NOT place rear-facing
child seat on front seat with
an active frontal airbag.
DEATH OR SERIOUS
INJURY can occur.
The back seat is the safest
place for children 12 and
under.

The safest seating position is one that works
best for your specic car seat, family and
vehicle. When determining whether the infant
car seat can be used with LATCH in the rear
center seating position, it is critical that you
refer to your vehicle owners manual. If the
carrier does not install securely in the rear center
seating location, it is recommended to move to
one of the outboard seating positions.
