Before installing and using the camera,
please read these instructions thorough-
ly and retain them for later reference.

1 Safety Precautions
Do not use strong
solvents or detergents
Use a dry cloth to clean the camera
when it is dirty. If it is hard to remove
dirt on the camera, use a mild
detergent and wipe gently.
Before operating, please
check temperature,
humidity and power source
requirements.
Only use the camera when
temperature is between 14°F ~ 122°F
(-10°C ~ 50°C).
Avoid exposing the
camera to direct sunlight
Do not aim the camera at bright
objects. Never point it toward direct
sunlight or other extremely bright
objects. Otherwise blooming or smear
distorting the image may result.
Do not attempt to
disassemble the camera
To prevent electric shock, do not
remove screws or covers. There are no
user serviceable parts inside. Contact
a qualified service personnel for repair
.
Handle the camera
with care
Do not abuse the camera. Avoid
striking, shaking, etc. The camera can
be damaged by improper handling or
storage.
Do not expose the camera
to rain or moisture
This product is designed for indoor
use or in a location where it is
protected from rain and moisture.
If exposed to moisture, turn the power
off immediately. Seek repair from
qualified service personnel. Moisture
can damage the camera and also
create a danger of electric shock.
Do not expose the camera
to conditions listed below.
Do not operate in a room or area filled
with cigarette smoke, dust, or gas.

Video Cable Connection
1. RED : Connect the RED Cable to 1(AC).
2. BLACK : Connect the BLACK Cable to 2(AC).
3. WHITE : Connect the WHITE Cable to 3(V).
4. BLACK : Connect the BLACK Cable to 4(G).

6 Installation
Camera Installation
1. Aim the LG logo of the Dome Camera to face the place that
you wish to watch.
2. Tighten the M4 Tapping Screws to fix the Dome Camera on
the ceiling, then adjust the Pan(Left /Right) by moving the
Pan Base. Tighten the M4 Tapping Screws after adjustment.
3. Loosen the Tilting Lock Screw. Adjust the Tilt(Up /Down) by
moving the Tilt Base then tighten Tilting Lock Screw.
4. Set the Zoom Lever to a point between
Tele and Wide to
choose the desired angular field of view.
Set the Focus Lever to a point between Near and Far to
choose the desired focus of view.
5. Install the Dome Cover to the main body by turning it coun-
terclockwise to the end.

7 Installation
NOTE
When you disassemble the Dome Cover, lift the Dome Cover
Separatory Spring on the opposite side of LG Logo and turn
the Dome Cover clockwise simultaneously.
When you install the camera, handle with care. The camera
could be damaged by improper handling or storage.
If this camera is mounted on the other places except ceiling,
you need an extra bracket for mounting.(not supplied)

Connect the Power Adapter (AC24V, 300mA; optional) to the
Power Input Jack of the camera as shown below.

9 Setup
4-pin Dip Switch Setting
This camera has the 4-pin Dip Switch inside of the camera for
setting.
1. ALC / ELC : ELC (Electronic IRIS), ALC (Auto IRIS)
The default setting is ALC.
2. Y/ DC IRIS : When you use Video Lens or DC IRIS Lens
The default setting is DC.(using the fixed lens)
3. BLC : Backlight Compensation
The default setting is OFF.
4. ABL : Auto BLC
The default setting is OFF.
NOTE
No. 1 and 2 must be set as a default mode. Depending on the
conditions, No.3 and 4 are adjustable.

Backlight Compensation Setting
Backlight compensation eliminates strong background light
which makes the camera picture dark such as a spotlight. You
can select the mode for adjusting the iris lens. There are two
mode as follows.
1. BLC : Set the BLC to ON. The lens iris is manually fixed at
the value that you have set regardless of an object.
2. ABL : Set the ABL to ON. The lens iris is automatically
adjusted according to the brightness of an object.

11 Setup
Line Lock Phase Adjustment Volume
This function is that V SYNC sig-
nal of the VIDEO signal can
move based on the power sig-
nal. Use this function when
screen conversion of the cam-
eras can't become softly. (When
screen conversion is working, it
prevents the screen from
becoming jump with vertical
direction.)
Adjustment
1. Using the VIDEO monitor
When you change the signal of the camera based on the
specific one camera, adjust the Line Lock phase adjustment
volume. (Detail setting is not available)
2. Using the measuring appliance
Turn the trigger source of Oscilloscope switch to 'LINE' and
adjust the Line Lock phase adjustment volume to set the
VIDEO SYNC as the same location based on the one cam-
era. (Detail setting is available)
* If necessary, adjust the Line Lock phase to synchronize the
image again.

12 Troubleshooting
Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem
before contacting service.
The picture is poor.
Does the Dome Cover have lots of dust on the surface?
Use a dry cloth to clean the camera when it is dirty.
Smear may be caused to the screen of night than daytime.
Adjust the Focus by moving the Focus Lever.
Contrast of the screen is not clear.
Check the condition of the monitor.
Alight source such as a spot light causes burn-in on the
display screen. Adjust position or angle of the camera to
eliminate strong background light.
Background screen appears white extremely.
You can set the background compensation to OFF.
