• Turn off all taps and central heating pumps.
• Turn off all water heaters.
• Water must be cold and still
before freezing.
•
Position jacket around pipe with the
seam uppermost.
• Secure tightly to pipe with cable
ties supplied.
• Insert feed tube in nozzle of can
and through the access hole in
the freezer jacket.
• Holding the can upright, inject
Quick-Freeze into jacket.
• Should liquid refrigerant appear,
pause briefly and allow to evapo-
rate. Then restart.
• Inject the correct amount accord-
ing to the table shown. Wait at
least 10 minutes to allow ice plug
to form.
• Should the water be treated with an inhibitor or anti-freeze
wait for a further 3-4 minutes.

A horizontal pipe is easier to
freeze but if a vertical pipe
requires freezing,
use cable ties
around
the base and ensure the
bottom of the freezing jacket is
tightly sealed with tape.
• Insert Quick-Freeze from the top.
• Ensure jacket is at least 250mm
from work point.
•
The ice plug should last up to 30
minutes (dependent on water
and room temperature).
• Top up with Quick-Freeze as
necessary.
• Ensure you have sufficient spare
Quick-Freeze to complete the
work.
CAUTION
• Pressurised container - protect from sunlight.
Do not expose this container to temperatures exceeding 50°C.
• Do not pierce or burn even after use.
• Do not spray onto a naked flame or any incandescent material.
• Store in a safe place and keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• This product will freeze skin tissue.
• Do not inhale gas, fumes, vapour or spray.
• If swallowed seek immediate medical advice and attention and
show this label to the medic.
