Electricity
IMPORTANT: the appliance must be installed in
accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for
injury to persons or pets, or damage to property
resulting from incorrect installation.

Electrical connections must be carried out by a
qualified electrician, and must comply with current
regulations.

Before conne cting the appliance must be to the
mains power supply check that the voltage
corresponds to the value given on the rating plate,
and that the electrical system wire size is
appropriate for the absorbed power shown on the
rating plate.

Fit a standard plug suitable for the absorbed power
of the appliance.

Theplugmustbeinsertedintoanearthedsocketin
compliance with safety regulations..

If the colours of the appliance power cord wires do
not correspond to the coloured marking identifying
the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:

the yellow/green wire must be connected to the
plug terminal marked with the letter E or the earth
symbol, or coloured green or green/yellow;

thebluewiremustbeconnectedtotheplug
terminal marked with the letter N or coloured black;

the brown wire must be connected to the plug
terminal marked with the letter L or coloured red.

Alternatively, the appliance can be connected
directly to the mains supply by installing a multi-pole
switch with at least 3 mm contact gap between the
appliance and the mains supply.

The power cord must not come into contact with
hot parts of the appliance and must be positioned
so that no point exceeds a temperature of 75
o
C.

When the appliance is installed, the switch or socket
must always be accessible.
N.B. Do not make the mains connection using
adapters or extension leads: risk of overheating and
fire.
If the installation requires the electrical system in
your home to be modified or if the socket a nd
appliance plug are not compatible, the work must
be carried out by a qualified electrician, who should
check that the size of the wires feeding the
electrical socket is appropriate in relation to the
absorbed power of the appliance.
This appliance must be earthed by law.
