The unit may keep the user settings information in the unit. If you discard
this unit either by disposal or transfer, then follow the procedure to return
all the settings to the factory defaults to delete the user settings.

The operation history may be recorded in the memory of this unit.

When this unit is not working correctly, disconnect and reconnect the AC
adaptor first.
If the problem persists, press and hold the RESET button for at least 5 seconds
with a paper clip or similar, and then release the button.

Connections
§ Use this connection to:

The LAN cable must be connected or disconnected while the AC adaptor is
disconnected.
Inserting any cable other than a LAN cable in the LAN port can damage the
unit.
If the LAN cable is disconnected, the network-related settings (l 17) will be
initialized. In that case, make the settings again.

Check the directions of the connectors, and plug them straight in or unplug
them straight out. (Otherwise the connectors may bend out of shape, which
may cause malfunction.)

The indicators (*) light up in blue after approximately 60 seconds.
For the purpose of power conservation, disconnect the power supply if you will
not be using it for extended period of time. Some settings will be lost after you
disconnect the system. You have to set them again.

Network settings
You can stream music from a device on the network by using the
Qualcomm
®
AllPlay
TM
smart media platform or DLNA feature. To use these
features, this unit must join the same network as the device.

smart media platform is a product of Qualcomm Connected
Experiences, Inc.
Choose a network setting method from the following.
The setting will be cancelled after the set time limit. In that case, try the setting
again.
“Using an Internet browser” (l 13)
You can access this unit’s network settings from the Internet
browser on your smartphone or tablet, etc.
“Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup
TM
)” (l 16)
You can connect to a wireless LAN network by pressing the WPS
button or entering a PIN code.
“Using the app “Panasonic Music Streaming”” (l 11)
You can make the wireless network settings with the app,
“Panasonic Music Streaming” (free of charge).

Do not connect a LAN cable to ALL speaker. Doing so will disable the
Wi-Fi function.
1 Download and start the app “Panasonic Music Streaming” (free
of charge) on your smartphone.

2 Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions.
Follow the app’s instructions to connect to your ALL speaker.
The procedure splits into the paths described below along the way.
Path 1: When the SH-WL30 is detected
(a screen similar the one below appears)
1 Select “Add”.
2 Scan the QR code on the bottom side of this unit.
Scan the QR code for either 5 GHz (recommended) or 2.4 GHz, depending on
your environment. (l 27)

Path 2: When the SH-WL30 is not detected automatically
(a screen similar the one below appears)
Depending on the screen size of your smartphone/tablet, you may
need to scroll to the bottom for any remaining steps.
Refer to “Using an Internet browser” (l 13).
Configure the connection of the ALL speaker to be added to the wireless
network.
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions for the ALL speaker.
In case you are not connected automatically,
please re-select your Wi-Fi network from the settings / Wi-Fi settings
menu on your device.
The operations and on-screen display items, etc. of the app “Panasonic Music
Streaming” are subject to change.

The following steps are based on a smartphone.
1 Turn on your ALL speaker.
You may need to configure the ALL speaker manually.
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions for the ALL speaker.
2 Go to Wi-Fi settings on the device.
3 Select “AllPlay _AJ” to connect to this unit.
” stands for a character that is unique to each set.
This can take up to 1 minute to appear in your Wi-Fi list.
If this operation does not work correctly, please repeat it several times.
Make sure that DHCP is enabled for the network setting on your compatible
device.
[iOS_device]: The settings page will be automatically displayed in the Internet
browser.
[Except_iOS_device]: Open the Internet browser and refresh the page to display
the settings page.
If the settings page is not displayed, input “http://172.19.42.1/” into the URL
address field.

4 Input a device name and then select “Next”.
The device name will be displayed as this unit’s name on the network.
The guaranteed limit is 32 characters.
The device name is set when “Next” is selected.
You can also change the device name after the network connection is set
up. (l 17)
5 Change the network name (SSID) to “SH-WL30-5G- 
or “SH-WL30-2G- ”and input the password (Key) for
this unit (refer to the bottom side of the unit).
Check the wireless router for the network name (SSID) and the password.
A list of network names (SSIDs) will be appeared when you select the
“Network Name” field.
To show the characters typed in the “Password” field, select “Show
Password”.
If your network requires specific settings, deselect “DHCP” to disable
DHCP.
You can use specific IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, primary
DNS, etc.
To update the network name (SSID) list, select “Refresh list”.

6 Select “Connect” to apply the settings.
Refer to the Operating Instructions for your ALL speaker for information on
how it operates when the connection is complete.
Depending on the device, the connection complete screen may not be
displayed.
7 Make sure to connect your compatible device back to your
home wireless network.
Enable Java and cookies in your browser settings.
You can change the user name and password. (l 26, “Password”)
If the network indicator does not light up, check the network name
(SSID) and the password, and then try the setting again.

Do not connect a LAN cable to ALL speaker. Doing so will disable the
Wi-Fi function.
1 Set your ALL speaker to WPS Connection mode.
For details, refer to the Operating Instructions for the ALL speaker.
2 Press and hold the WPS button on this unit for at least 3
seconds.
The WPS indicator blinks. The WPS indicator blinks for about 2 minutes
until the connection is completed.
When the connection is complete, the WPS indicator will light up for about
10 seconds.
The default setting is 5 GHz.
Go to the advanced setup screen to switch to 2.4 GHz. (l 27)
The WPS indicator blinks fast for about 1 minute when a connection attempt
fails.

To make network-related settings
You can change this unit’s name on the network, and use specific IP address, etc.
Preparation
Change the IP address settings of the device (PC, etc.) to the ones
below.
For details on how to change these settings, refer to the operating instructions
for your device.
IP Address:
“10.10.10.” (“” stands for any number between 1 and 253.)
Subnet mask:
“255.255.255.0”
Connect this unit and the device. (l 8)

Start an Internet browser on your device and then input “http://
10.10.10.254/” into the address field to display the settings page.
2 Input user name and password and select “OK”.
When performing this step for the first time, enter “admin” into both the ID
and password fields.
It may take a few minutes until the settings page is displayed depending on
the environment. In that case, reload the browser.
If you enter a wrong ID or password, close the Internet browser first, and
then follow the steps above again.
You can also change the name of this unit by changing a setting in the app
“Panasonic Music Streaming” (version 3.1.0 or later) (l 11).

Basic Settings
This page is used to configure the parameters for wireless LAN clients that
may connect to this unit. Here you may change wireless relative settings
as well as wireless network parameters.
When the settings are complete, click “Apply”.
The settings will be applied after you click “Refresh” and wait for a while.
To reconfigure the settings, click “Back”.

Item Description
WiFi UP/DOWN
The setting changes each time you click the item.
You can turn on/off the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
radio signal setting.
Network Mode
You can select the setting from the pull
down menu.
1st SSID
It is the wireless network name.
The SSID can be 32 bytes long.
Channel Width
You can select the setting from the pull
down menu.
Channel Number
You can select the setting from the pull down menu.
Select the wireless communication channel
from the pull-down menu.
SSID stealth
You can select the setting from the pull
down menu.

Encryption
This page allows you setup the wireless security. Turn on WPA2 by using
encryption keys could prevent any unauthorized access to your wireless
network.
When the settings are complete, click “Apply”.
The settings will be applied after you click “Refresh” and wait for a while.
To reconfigure the settings, click “Back”.

Select SSID The SSID of this unit is displayed.
Encryption
Select the encryption supported over
wireless access from the pull down
menu.
Key Format
Select the WEP shared secret key
format from the pull-down menu. The
format can be chose between
Passphrase and hexadecimal (HEX)
code.

Show Password
Click checkbox to show/hide
password.

Access Control
If you enable wireless access control, only those clients whose wireless MAC
addresses are in the access control list will be able to connect to this unit.
When this option is enabled, no wireless clients will be able to connect if the list
contains no entries.
When the settings are complete, click “Apply”.
The settings will be applied after you click “Refresh” and wait for a while.
To reconfigure the settings, click “Back”.

Wireless Access Control Mode
Select the Wireless Access Control
mode setting from the pull down
menu.
This is a security control function;
only those clients registered in the
access control list can link to this unit.
MAC Address
Input the MAC address of client to
register this unit access capability.
Comment
Input the comment tag for the
registered client.
Current Access Control List
It shows the registered clients that are
allowed to link to this unit.
Del
Click to delete the selected clients
that will be access right removed from
this unit.
Delete All
Click to delete all the registered
clients from the access allowed list.
