quality product. The instructions for use

are part of the product. They contain important in-

formation concerning safety, use and disposal. Be-

fore using the product, please familiarise yourself

with all of the safety information and instructions

for use. Only use the unit as described and for the

speciﬁ ed applications. If you pass the product on

to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass

on all the documentation with it.

Intended use

This seat cover is intended for cooling the human

body while travelling in a vehicle (in passenger cars

and trucks) and in domestic households. This seat

cover is not intended to be used for commercial

purposes. Any other form of use or any modiﬁ cations

to the seat cover are not permitted and may result in

injury and / or damage to the cover. The manufacturer

accepts no liability for damage or injury resulting

from improper use.

Please observe these safety instructions and make

sure that you pass on this manual together with the

seat cover.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC

HOCK! Do not use the seat cover if it is damp

Do not misuse the mains cable to

carry or hang up the seat cover or

to pull the plug out of the socket. Kee

the cable away from heat, oil, and sharp edges.

If the mains cable is damaged or severed, do

not touch it, and remove the mains plug imme-

diately. Damaged or tangled cables increase

the risk of an electric shock.

If you use a cardiac pacemaker, please

consult your doctor and the manuf-

acturer of the pacemaker before using

this seat cover. Under certain circumstances, the

electrical and magnetic ﬁ elds emitted from this

seat cover could interfere with the proper func-

tioning of your heart pacemaker. However, the

values are well under the permitted limits.

DANGER OF ELECTRIC

SHOCK AND INJURY! Please check the

seat

cover carefully beforehand every time you use

it in order to determine if there are any signs of

wear and tear and / or damage. Do not use the

seat cover if you see wear and tear or damage

or if it has been used incorrectly.

This appliance may be used by children of the

age of 8 years or more and by persons with re-

duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities

or lack of experience and knowledge if they

are supervised or, in regard to the safe use of

the appliance, have been instructed in its use

and understand the potential risks. Children

must not play with the appliance. Children

should not carry out cleaning and user mainte-

nance tasks without supervision.

RISK OF INJURY! Do not use this

seat cover for helpless persons, infants

or persons who are insensitive to

cold (e.g. diabetics, people with disease-rela-

ted changes to the skin or scarred skin in the

area of use, or after taking pain-relieving medi-

cation or consuming alcohol).

Ensure that you do not fall asleep

while the seat cover is in operation. Ex-

cessively long use can cause skin chills.

Repairs must only be carried out by specially

trained personnel or at a repair shop authorised

by the manufacturer, since special tools are ne-

cessary. Improper repairs may result in considera-

ble danger for the user.

If the mains lead of the device is damaged, in

order to avoid causing further danger it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, a manufacturer-

approved repair centre or a suitably qualiﬁ ed

person.

When operating with 12 V, always ensure that

the 12 V plug is located ﬁ rmly and safely in the

connection socket of the 12 V connector and

that the connection socket is free of dirt. If the

contact between plug and socket is inadequa-

te, vibration from the car can cause the power

supply to switch on and oﬀ in short bursts. This

can result in overheating.

Safety instructions for

road safety

In order not to jeopardise

road safety, observe the following

points:

· When using in vehicles, make sure that safety

devices, side airbags in particular, are not

compromised.

· If you have any question about the airbag,

read the vehicle‘s Owner‘s Manual or ask at

your local workshop.

AVOID DAMAGE TO THE

SEAT COVER!

Please ensure that you:

· connect the seat cover only to the voltage in-

dicated in the Technical Data,

· use the seat cushion only with the adapters

supplied,

· do not switch on the seat cover if it is folded

or bunched up,

· do not cause any sharp creases in the seat

cover,

· do not place any objects, e.g. suitcases or a

washing basket, on the seat cover when it is

switched on.

This can damage the seat cover.

Start-up

Attaching the seat cover

Place the seat cover on the car seat.

Pull the fastening strap

of the seat cover over

the head rest of the car seat.

Carefully attach the seat cover using fastening

straps

Note: You need not always use all of the securing

straps

. Test how best to secure the seat cover

onto your seat. Use the following ﬁ gure as a guide.

In case the seat back is very wide or tall, fasten the

seat cover as shown in the second image.

If your vehicle has a side airbag,

take care when attaching the seat cover to only pull

the tie-down straps

over the bracket of the hea-

drest, and not over the top of the car seat. Other-

wise, the side airbag operation could be aﬀ ected!

the fan speed

When using for the ﬁ rst time, ﬁ rst connect the

12 V adapter

or the mains adapter

the seat cover by attaching one of them to the

connection socket

Plug the mains adapter

into a 230 V socket

or the 12 V adapter

into the 12 V connector

in your car.

Switching on:

Press the ON / OFF switch

. The indicator

light illuminates green. The seat cover switches

to the high fan speed.

Switching off:

Press the ON / OFF switch

again. The indi-

cator light goes out.

Selecting the fan speed

Set the low fan speed, when required, by pres-

sing the fan speed switch I / II

Set the higher fan speed, when required, by

pressing the fan speed switch I / II

Note: The indicator light of the fan speed

illuminates blue as soon as the seat cover is

switched on.

Cleaning and Care

MORTAL DANGER FROM

ELECTRIC SHOCK! Before cleaning the seat

cover, always pull the mains adapter

out of

the socket or the 12 V adapter

from the 12 V

connection and remove it from the connection

socket

DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Reconnect the mains adapter

the 12 V adapter

with the seat

cover only when the connection socket

and

the seat cover are completely dry. Otherwise

there is a risk of electric shock.

Do not use chemical cleaners or scouring agents

for cleaning the seat cover and the connection

socket

. This can damage the seat cover.

Do not fasten the seat cover with clothes pegs

or the like to dry it. This can damage the seat

cover.

Use a dry, lint-free cloth to cleaning and care

for the seat cover and connection socket

You can dampen the cloth and use a little mild

liquid detergent to remove more stubborn dirt

from the seat cover.

Please note that the seat cover must not be dry-

cleaned, bleached, wrung out, machine dried,

mangled or ironed.

Storage

Stow the 12 V and mains adapters

the storage pocket provided at the foot of the

seat cover.

If you do not intend to use the seat cover for any

length of time, store it in the original packing in

a dry place without weighing it down.

To prevent the seat cover from becoming sharply

creased, do not place other objects on top of

the cover when it is stored.

Disposal

The packaging and ancillary packing con-

sist of environmentally friendly materials.

They can be disposed of at your local

recycling facility.

Do not dispose of electrical equip-

ment in the household waste!

In accordance with European Directive 2012 / 19 / EU

(covering waste electrical and electronic equipment)

and its transposition into national legislation, worn

out electrical devices must be collected separately

and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for

more details of how to dispose of your worn out

electrical devices.

δικτύου ή αν κοπεί, μην αγγίζετε το καλώδιο

δικτύου, αλλά αποσυνδέστε άμεσα το βύσμα

δικτύου. Κατεστραμμένο ή μπλεγμένο καλώδιο

αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο πρόκλησης ηλεκτροπληξία

Απευθυνθείτε στο γιατρό σας και

στον κατασκευαστή του βηματοδότη

σας, προτού χρησιμοποιήσετε αυτό τ

κάλυμμα καθίσματος. Τα ηλεκτρικά και μαγνη-

τικά πεδία που δημιουργούνται από το ηλεκτρικό

κάλυμμα καθίσματος ενδέχεται υπό προϋποθέ-

σεις να επηρεάσουν αρνητικά τη λειτουργία

του βηματοδότη σας. Ωστόσο κυμαίνονται πολ

πιο κάτω από τις οριακές τιμές.

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ

μάδια φθοράς ή / και βλάβης. Μην το θέτετε σε

ειτουργία, αν εντοπίσετε φθορές ή βλάβες ή ότ

αν

η συσκευή δεν έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί σωστά.

Αυτή η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται

από παιδιά άνω των 8 ετών καθώς και από

άτομα με περιορισμένες φυσικές, αισθητηρια-

κές ή νοητικές ικανότητες ή ελλείψεις από άπο-

ψη εμπειρίας και γνώσεων, εφόσον επιτηρού-

νται ή έχουν ενημερωθεί αναφορικά με την

με δερματικούς ερεθισμούς που οφείλονται σε

άτομα μετά τη λήψη παυσίπονων φαρμάκων ή

αλκοόλ).

Βεβαιωθείτε, πως δε θα αποκοιμηθεί-

τε, ενόσω το κάλυμμα καθίσματος

βρίσκεται σε λειτουργία. Η πολύωρη

χρήση μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε πάγωμα του

δέρματος.

Οι επιδιορθώσεις επιτρέπεται να πραγματοποιού-

νται μόνο από ειδικούς ή σε συνεργείο αναγνωρι-

σμένο από τον κατασκευαστή, διότι απαιτούνται

ειδικά εργαλεία. Λόγω μη ορθών επιδιορθώσεων

ίσως προκύψουν σοβαροί κίνδυνοι για το χρήστη.

Κατά τη λειτουργία στα 12 V προσέχετε πάντο-

τε το βύσμα 12-V να έχει στερεωθεί ασφαλώς

στην υποδοχή της σύνδεσης 12-V και η υπο-

δοχή να είναι καθαρή. Σε περίπτωση μη σωστής

επαφής μεταξύ του βύσματος και της υποδοχής

ενδέχεται σε τυχόν κραδασμούς του οχήματος

η παροχή ρεύματος να διακόπτεται για σύντο-

μα χρονικά διαστήματα. Κάτι τέτοιο ίσως να

προκαλέσει υπερθέρμανση.

Για να μη θέσετε

σε κίνδυνο την κυκλοφοριακή ασφά-

λεια, λάβετε υπόψη σας τα παρακάτω

σημεία:

· Κατά τη χρήση σε οχήματα πρέπει να προσέ-

ξετε να μην παρεμποδίζονται οι διατάξεις

ασφάλειας, ειδικά οι πλευρικοί αερόσακοι.

· Αν έχετε απορίες σχετικά με τους αερόσακους,

διαβάστε τις οδηγίες χρήσης του οχήματος

σας ή ρωτήστε στο συνεργείο σας.

ΑΠΟΦΥΓΗ ΒΛΑΒΗΣ ΤΟΥ ΚΑ-

ΛΥΜΜΑΤΟΣ ΚΑΘΙΣΜΑΤΟΣ!

Παρακαλώ λάβετε υπόψη σας ότι:

· το κάλυμμα καθίσματος πρέπει να συνδέεται

μόνο στην τάση που αναφέρεται στα τεχνικά

δεδομένα,

· θα χρησιμοποιείτε το πλατοκάθισμα μόνο

μαζί με τους απεσταλμένους αντάπτορες,

· το κάλυμμα καθίσματος δεν πρέπει να συνδέ-

εται, όταν είναι διπλωμένο ή πεπιεσμένο,

· το κάλυμμα καθίσματος δεν πρέπει να φέρει

έντονες τσακίσεις,

· δεν πρέπει να τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα, όπως

π.χ. βαλίτσες ή καλάθια για άπλυτα, πάνω

στο κάλυμμα καθίσματος, ενόσω αυτό βρί-

σκεται σε λειτουργία.

Διαφορετικά μπορεί να προκληθούν βλάβες

στο κάλυμμα καθίσματος.

Θέση σε λειτουργία

Στερέωση καλύμματος

καθίσματος

Τοποθετήστε το κάλυμμα καθίσματος στο κάθι-

σμα του αυτοκινήτου.

Περάστε τον ιμάντα στερέωσης

του καλύμ-

ματος καθίσματος πάνω από το προσκέφαλο

του καθίσματος του αυτοκινήτου.

Στερεώστε προσεχτικά το κάλυμμα καθίσματος

με τους ιμάντες στερέωσης

Υπόδειξη: Δεν χρειάζεται να χρησιμοποιούνται

πάντα όλοι οι ιμάντες στερέωσης

. Δοκιμάστε

πώς ακριβώς το κάλυμμα του καθίσματος μπορεί

να στερεωθεί καλύτερα στο κάθισμά σας. Χρησιμο-

ποιήστε για βοήθεια τις κάτωθι εικόνες.

Σε περίπτωση πολύ ψηλής ή φαρδιάς πλάτης, στε-

ρεώστε το κάλυμμα καθίσματος όπως ακριβώς πα-

ρουσιάζεται στη δεύτερη εικόνα.

Εάν το όχημά σας δια-

θέτει πλευρικό αερόσακο, προσέχετε κατά τη στερέ-

ωση του καλύμματος του καθίσματος ώστε οι ιμά-

ντες στερέωσης

να μπαίνουν μόνο επάνω από

τους βραχίονες του προσκέφαλου και όχι επάνω

από το άνω μέρος του καθίσματος του αυτοκινήτου.

Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση μπορεί να επηρεαστεί ο

πλευρικός αερόσακος!

Για τη θέση σε λειτουργία συνδέστε καταρχάς

τον αντάπτορα 12-V

ή / και τον αντάπτορα

δικτύου

με το κάλυμμα καθίσματος τοποθε-

τώντας έναν από τους δύο στην υποδοχή σύν-

δεσης

Τοποθετήστε τον αντάπτορα δικτύου

σε

πρίζα 230 V∼ ή / και τον αντάπτορα 12-V

στη σύνδεση 12-V του οχήματος σας.

Ενεργοποίηση:

Πατήστε το πλήκτρο ΕΝΕΡΓΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ / ΑΠΕ-

ΝΕΡΓΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

. Η ενδεικτική λυχνία ανάβει

πράσινη. Το κάλυμμα καθίσματος ενεργοποιείται

στη μεγάλη βαθμίδα ανεμιστήρα.

Απενεργοποίηση:

Πατήστε ξανά το πλήκτρο ΕΝΕΡΓΟΠΟΙΗΣΗΣ /

ΑΠΕΝΕΡΓΟΠΟΙΗΣΗΣ

Επιλογή βαθμίδων ανεμιστήρα

Αν θέλετε, επιλέξτε τη χαμηλότερη βαθμίδα

ανεμιστήρα πατώντας το πλήκτρο βαθμίδων

ανεμιστήρα I / II

Ρυθμίστε τη μεγαλύτερη βαθμίδα του ανεμιστή-

ρα πατώντας ξανά το πλήκτρο των βαθμίδων

ανεμιστήρα I / II

Υπόδειξη: Η ενδεικτική λυχνία της βαθμίδας

του ανεμιστήρα ανάβει μπλε, μόλις ενεργοποι-

ηθεί το κάλυμμα καθίσματος.

την υποδοχή σύνδεσης του καλύμματος

υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.

Για τον καθαρισμό του καλύμματος καθίσματος

και της υποδοχής σύνδεσης

μη χρησιμο-

ποιείτε χημικά καθαριστικά ή λειαντικά μέσα. Δι-

αφορετικά μπορεί να προκληθούν βλάβες στο

κάλυμμα καθίσματος.

Μη στερεώνετε το κάλυμμα καθίσματος για να

στεγνώσει με μανταλάκια ή παρόμοια αντικείμε-

να. Διαφορετικά μπορεί να προκληθούν βλάβες

στο κάλυμμα καθίσματος.

Για τον καθαρισμό και τη φροντίδα του καλύμ-

ματος καθίσματος και της υποδοχής σύνδεσης

χρησιμοποιείτε στεγνό πανί που δεν αφήνει

χνούδι.

Σε περίπτωση επίμονων λεκέδων στο κάλυμμα

καθίσματος μπορείτε να βρέξετε το πανί και να

το νοτίσετε με λίγο υγρό, ήπιο καθαριστικό.

Λάβετε υπόψη σας, ότι το κάλυμμα καθίσματος

δεν επιτρέπεται να καθαρίζεται με χημικά, να

λευκαίνεται, να στύβεται, να στεγνώνει με μηχά-

νημα, να πρεσάρεται ή να σιδερώνεται.

Αποθήκευση

Τοποθετήστε τον αντάπτορα 12-V και τον αντά-

πτορα δικτύου

στις προβλεπόμενες

αποθηκευτικές θήκες στο κάτω άκρο του κα-

λύμματος καθίσματος.

Αποθηκεύστε το κάλυμμα καθίσματος στην αυ-

θεντική συσκευασία σε στεγνό περιβάλλον και

χωρίς εναποθέσαντα βάρη, αν δεν πρόκειται να

το χρησιμοποιήσετε για πολύ καιρό.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της αποθήκευσης μην τοπο-

θετήσετε άλλα αντικείμενα πάνω στο κάλυμμα

καθίσματος, για να αποφύγετε έντονες τσακίσεις.

Διάθεση

Τόσο η συσκευασία όσο και το υλικό

συσκευασίας αποτελούνται από υλικά

φιλικά προς το περιβάλλον. Μπορείτε

να τα διαθέσετε στους κάδους ανακύ-

κλωσης της περιοχής σας.

Μη διαθέτετε τις ηλεκτρικές συ-

σκευές στα οικιακά απορρίμματα!

Σύμφωνα με την Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία 2012 / 19 / EU

σχετικά με τις ηλεκτρικές και ηλεκτρονικές παλιές

ηση από την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Η συ-

σκευή κατασκευάστηκε και ελέγχθηκε

προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή. Πα-

ρακαλούμε φυλάξτε την απόδειξη ταμείου

ως απόδειξη για την αγορά. Παρακαλούμε

επικοινωνήστε τηλεφωνικά με την υπηρεσία

σέρβις σε περίπτωση εγγύησης. Μόνο έτσι

μπορεί να εξασφαλιστεί μια δωρεάν απο-

στολή του εμπορεύματός σας.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει μόνο για σφάλματα

υλικού ή κατασκευής, όχι όμως για ζημιές από τη

μεταφορά, για εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για βλάβες

σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες ή συσ-

σωρευτές. Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για την

ιδιωτική και όχι για την επαγγελματική χρήση.

Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης

χρήσης, σε χρήση βίας και σε παρεμβάσεις οι οποί-

ες δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας

τμήμα σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει. Τα νομικά

Εγγύηση και σέρβις

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν επεκτείνεται μέσω της από-

δοσης εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει και για εξαρτήματα

τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί ή επισκευαστεί.

Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες κατά την αγορά, ζη-

μιές και ελλείψεις πρέπει να αναφέρονται αμέσως

μετά την αποσυσκευασία, το αργότερο όμως δύο

ημέρες μετά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Επισκευές που

εμφανίζονται μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης

χρεώνονται.
