INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE study these instructions carefully before beginning this installation. Most installations can be accomplished with common
tools and procedures. However, you should be familiar with and comfortable working on your vehicle. If you do not feel comfortable
performing this installation, it is recommended to have the installation completed by a mechanic. If you have any questions, please

• DESCRIPTION: This Aluminum Fuel Rail Kit is designed for use with the Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT LS3 intake manifold PN 7142.
NOTE: This fuel rail kit and corresponding intake manifold PN 7142 (sold separate) are designed to use 38mm “short” fuel injectors
(1.50” O-ring center to O-ring center) or 65mm “long” fuel injectors (2.50” O-ring center to O-ring center). The manifold injectors
bosses are machined for 14mm O.D. injector O-rings. Stock LS3 injector O-rings are 15mm but are interchangeable with standard
14mm O-rings.
Kit includes the following:
q 2 - Machined Fuel Rail Extrusions (ends tapped for -8 AN)
q 4 - 1/2” Long Aluminum Spacer
q 4 - M6 x 1.0 x 45mm Hex Flange Bolt
• INJECTOR ASSEMBLY: Apply silicone assembly lube to the injector O-rings before installing them into the manifold and fuel
rails. Make sure that the O-rings on the injectors create a complete seal with the fuel rail and the intake manifold to prevent any
air or fuel leaks.
NOTE: Most applications will require a fuel pressure regulator and crossover, which are not included with this kit.
• INSTALLATION: For short style fuel injectors (1.50” O-ring center to O-ring center), use the bottom two holes on each side of the
intake manifold during installation. For long style fuel injectors (2.50” O-ring center to O-ring center), use the top two holes on
each side of the intake manifold during installation. The provided aluminum spacers should be installed between the fuel rail and
the intake manifold. Secure the fuel rail to the manifold with the provided M6 x 45mm Hex Flange Bolts.
• FINAL CHECKS: After finishing assembly, check the following:
q Assure that the injector O-rings are fully seated inside their respective bores and the injectors are able to rotate freely.
q Activate the fuel pump and check the system for any leaks prior to starting the engine. Repair any leaks immediately.
