PREPARING THE WASH CYCLE
1.- Once the washing is loaded, ensure that the drum doors are properly closed..
2.- Add detergent and additives, not exceeding the maximum level indicator.
.- detergent for pre-wash I
.- detergent for wash programme II
.- bleach
.- fabric conditioner
SELECTING THE DESIRED PROGRAMMES AND OPTIONS
3.- Turn the programme selector (A) to the desired programme.
4.- Press the key or keys for any options desired (C1, C2, C3, C4).
C1 heavy wash key
This key maintains the water at the selected temperature throughout the wash cycle, and
tumbles the washing more strongly, thus giving optimum wash results for heavily soiled
garments. It can be activated only in the Cottons programme.
C2 easy iron key
This function helps reduce creasing, depending on the programme selected and the type
of fabric washed. This works as follows:
Mixed,Synthetics. Intermediate spins during rinses are eliminated, the final spin is a gentle
spin.
Delicates. Intermediate spins during rinses are eliminated and the machine stops before
the final spin, which is a gentle spin.
Hand wash, Woollens ,Cotton, and Mix&wash. The machine stops before the final spin.
Rinses. Intermediate spins during rinses are eliminated
To complete the wash cycle in the Delicates , Hand wash , Mix&wash, Cotton, and
Woollens programmes, press the Easy Iron key again: the machine will empty and perform
the required spin.
To empty machine of water with no spin, cancel the ongoing programme and select the
Empty programme
C3 extra rinse key
The electronic system engaged by this key activates a new special rinse cycle. More water
and a combination of drum rotation movements ensure that washing is perfectly rinsed.
The key can be activated in Cottons, Mixed, Synthetics, Delicates, Rinse, and Mix&wash.
C4 super fast key
When this key is engaged programme times are cut by as much as 50 minutes, depending
on the wash programme and temperature selected. The key can be activated only in Cottons,
Synthetics and Mixed programmes.
5.- Select spin speed if required (B1)
B1 spin selector
Use this control to select the maximum spin speed within the range for the model of washing
machine in question and the programme selected (see programme table). The control can
be turned in both directions. Spin speed may be selected at any time during the
programme.
6.- Once you have selected the desired options, press the START key (H). The washing machine
will start up and one of the time remaining or programme phase lamps (V) will come on. This
lamp indicates approximately how much time is left before the wash programme is completed
(or wash cycle phase): it will change as the programme progresses. Make sure that the stop/end
08-04 / 46001788 EN
of cycle lamp is flashing before pressing the start key (H). If it remains on continuously, turn
the programme selector to OFF and re-set it to the desired programme. To cancel an option
after setting, just press the option key again (the indicator lamp will go out).
B2 delayed start control
The start of the programme set can be delayed so that the machine starts to wash after a
set time. To do this, proceed as follows:
- Turn the control to the desired timer setting (do not position it between settings).
- Press the start key (H). The indicator lamps will flash.
- The machine will start the wash after the set time.
To change or cancel a programme once the programme selected has started, proceed as
follows:
- Hold down the start key (H) until the stop/end of cycle lamp is burning steadily. The
programme has been cancelled, and another may be selected.
- Select the new programme.
- Press the start key (H) again until one of the time remaining or programme phase lamps
lights up.
- The machine will then run the new programme selected.
Programme Pause
To pause the wash programme so that more washing can be added, proceed as follows:
- Hold down the start key (H) until the option key lamps begin to flash and the time remaining
or programme phase lamp lights up.
- When the Door Lock lamp goes out (after approx. 2 minutes), open the door and put the
additional washing into the drum.
- Close the drum door and the lid properly.
- Press the start key (H), the time remaining or programme phase lamp will light up and
the machine will continue with the programme.
When the programme is completed the Stop/End of cycle lamp (S) will come on and the time
remaining or programme phase and Door Lock lamps (V and G) will go out.
For your own safety, set the programme selector to OFF before opening the washing-
machine lid and the drum doors to remove the washing.
