The following settings must be properly configured to
comply with this regulation:
7 Delete orders and patients after
the retention period (h) has
passed.
When deleting orders and patients, the application
sends them to the recycle bin. These orders /
patients remain in the recycle bin until they exceed
the number of hours set in this parameter. The
system then proceeds to permanently delete these
items from the database via the end-of-day
process.

When enabling this parameter, the application
forces the user who edits validated results and
wants to save them, to enter a comment. The call
out that appears for entering the comment cannot
be left empty. It is possible to enter a coded
comment.
These comments do not appear by default in the
report. If the user want to view them there, the
check box of the Imp./Host column on the
Comments screen should be selected.

18 Request confirmation when
changing results (for all
required applications: General
Lab and Emergency Lab)
If this parameter is enabled, the system requests
the user to confirm whether the test result change
should actually be saved in the database. This
option helps the user to avoid mistakes.
