• Pay extra attention to avoid scratching the
speaker’s surface.
• Be careful not to apply force to the side of the
speaker, otherwise the speaker may fall causing
damage to the speaker or personal injury.
• To avoid accidents resulting from tripping over
loose speaker cables, affix them to the oor.
• Placing the speakers too close to a CRT-type TV
may impair the picture color or cause a buzzing
noise. In this case, move the speakers at least
20 cm (8”) away from the TV. This is not an issue
with LCD and plasma TVs.

CONNECTIONS TO YOUR AMPLIFIER
Amplier
NS-F901 (L)
This speaker system is capable of standard connections and bi-wired connections. Before making
connections, make sure that the amplier is switched off.
CONNECTIONS
Youneedacommerciallyavailablespeakercable.
y
Thesizeand/ormaterialofaspeakercableaffectsonthe
soundquality.Therefore,werecommendyoutopurchase
ahigh-qualityspeakercabletoexerttheperformanceof
thisunit.
Notes
• Connect the (+) terminals on the amplier and the
speakers using one side of the cable. Connect the
(–) terminals on both components using the other
side of the cable.
• Connect one speaker to the left (L) terminals of
your amplier, and another speaker to the right (R)
terminals, making sure not to reverse the polarity
(+, –). If one speaker is connected with reversed
polarity, the sound will be unnatural and lack bass.
• When using an amplier with a rated output
power higher than the nominal input power of the
speaker, care should be taken never to exceed the
speaker’s maximum input.
• The speaker may be damaged if certain sounds
are continuously output at high volume level.
For example, if sine waves from a test disc, bass
sounds from electronic instruments, etc., are
continuously output, or when the stylus of a
turntable touches the surface of a disc, reduce the
volume level to prevent the speaker from being
damaged.
• Please refer to the owner’s manual that came with
your amplier or receiver.

Notes
• Do not let the bare speaker wires touch each other
as this could damage the speaker or the amplier,
or both of them.
• Do not insert the insulation coating into the hole.
The sound may not be produced.
