6. Rattling noise during high
spin speed operation. The
Rattling Noise is due to the
metal shield tapping against
the motor mounting bolts,
because bent over tabs on
the shield are too close to
the bolts and make a rattling
noise. Remove the motor
with shield to access the
motor shield. Flatten the
motor shield tabs as shown
below and tilt the shield
away from the motor. Place
foam tape over the flattened
tab to further cushion the
tab incase the shield makes
contact with the motor after
the adjustment.

May be due to vibration absorber weight tapping against the frame on the
top of the washer. To remedy, locate the weight making contact and then
run a zip-strip thru the spring to cinch the spring together.

The opening and closing of the rear vent
flappers as air pressure changes occur
inside the outer tub cause this noise.
Replace the vent flapper with part number
34001455. A new vent flapper was designed
with a foam cushion mounted in the center of
the flapper.

9. Rapid snapping and/or popping sound from
the rear of the washer during spin
. This is a normal operation sound as
the water is being extracted through the drain holes in the spinner and is
hitting the outer tub before draining out of the washer.
