Installation of kit

Read before installing
Description
This kit is designed for use with a 48” snow/dozer
blade, Model No. 79355( S/N 8900001 & up),
Model No. 716506006 (S/N T8BM0001 & up) or
95–4090 kit to stabilize the blade in a lateral
direction.
Installation
1. If the blade is installed on a tractor, park the unit
on a level surface, lower the attachment lift. Set
the parking brake and turn the ignition key to
“Stop” to stop the engine. Remove the ignition
key.
2. Remove the blade attachment from the tractor.
Refer to “Removing the Blade” in the Operators
Manual.

3. On the left hand frame rail position the guide
flush with the inside edge of the rail and 2 1/2”
(64 mm) from the back edge of the pivot plate
(Fig. 1).
4. Clamp the guide to the frame member. Using
the guide as a template, drill two 3/8” diameter
holes.

5. Insert the 3/8 x 1” (25 mm) bolts through the
guide and frame and secure with 3/8” nuts
(Fig. 1). Tighten them securely.
6. Install the stabilizer arm through the guide.
Insert the 5/16 x 1 1/4” (32 mm) bolt through the
hole in the stabilizer arm and secure it with a
5/16” nut. Make sure that the stabilizer arm can
slide up and down in the hole freely.
7. Reinstall the blade attachment to the tractor.
Refer to “Installing the Blade to the Tractor” in
the Operators Manual. Open the latches on the
front hitch and install the stabilizer. Lock the
stabilizer in place with the latches.
8. Raise and lower the blade to check the operation.
