A. HOME Button: Return to the HOME screen

B. WIFI signal status icon: If connected to the WIFI wireless network, the icon will be displayed

C.3G signal status icon: If connected to the 3G network, will show the network signal.

D.Battery status icon: Displays the current battery level and whether the charging status.

E.Time display: Display the time of the current system, which has been sat.

F.MENU button: menu options are given based on the current page

G.BACK button: Press this button to return to the previous one or return to the main interface screen

Note: press "Menu key" , it can pop up the menu bar interface; while press "Menu key" and hold on, it will return to the previous one or return to the

main interface screen.

add a HOME Screen item(Shortcuts, Widgets, Folders, Wallpapers ） , hold your finger on the screen at an empty location, then choose from the

list.

can also tap on the Menu icon （ or press "Menu KEY" ） , and select Add button.



move a HOME Screen item, hold your finger onto it until it gets larger, then drag it to the desired location, and release you finger.



remove a HOME Screen item, hold your finger onto it, drag it onto the recycle bin(while you're holding an item, the Applications tab on the

right side of the screen, turns into a recycle bin) and release your finger.

Changing the wallpaper: From the HOME screen, tap on the Menu icon . A list of options appears at the bottom of the screen.

Changing the Settings: From the HOME Screen, tap on the Menu icon , tap on Settings and choose a category: Networks controls, sound &

location, Date & time, etc.

Note: Click the custom Android "shortcuts" in the HOME Screen (such as Browser, Audio Player, etc.) to open the corresponding application.You

can customize the HOME Screen by adding /removing shortcuts and widgets, changing the wallpaper, etc.

(2) Off: Press the power key and hold on for 3 seconds, and then pop-up a shutdown interface, click the item "Power off".

Copy the APK package which you want to install to the U disk / TF Card / Local disk, then you can install or uninstall it as follow:

(1) "Settings" → "USB mode select", unselect the item "Host mode".

(2) Connect the unit and PC with mini USB cable, then pop-up the "USB connected" interface, click "Mount" button, the local disk will appear on the

Note: When you connect to PC first time, should update the USB drivers, which can be found "USB DRIVER" in the Drivers CD.

When the Smartpad connected to the computer, you will find two removable disks, one is the TF card , the other one is the Smartpad's built-in memory

disk. If you do not insert the TF card, the first disk cannot be opened.

TF card: Insert TF card correctly, in this state, the Smartpad can read and play TF card file.

(1) The HDMI cable, one end connect to the Smartpad's HDMI port, the other end with the HDMI port of the TV.( The TV needs to support HDMI

output function).

(2) Select the "HDMI" to Set the TV signal.

(3) Set the unit:

A. Select "Video Player" → Click to play video file → Click the play target interface.

B. Bottom of the screen will pop up a menu option, click "..."( more) → select "HDMI" → output to HDMI: 576P/720P (optional).

(4) At this point, the video played can be displayed on the TV screen.

(5) press "Menu key" and hold on for a moment, it can be out of HDMI output mode.

* Note: The Smartpad supports high-definition video output, but not distribution of this HDMI cable, you can buy from the market or dealer.

(1) The component video cable, one end connect to the Smartpad's Ypbpr port, plug the other end of the three(red / green / blue ) to thee TV's

component input port(red / green /blue).

(2) Set TV signal source, follow the use of different TV to choose or switch the video sources.

(3) Set the unit:

C. Select "Video Player" → Click to play video file → Click the play target interface.

Bottom of the screen will pop up a menu option, click "..."( more) → select "TV-Out" → out in YPBPR 480/576/720(optional).

(4) At this point, the video played can be displayed on the TV screen.

(6) Press "Menu key" and hold on for a moment, it can be out of TV-Out mode.

* Note: The Smartpad is not distribution component video cable, you can buy from the market or dealer.

Note: If the computer can not be found the upgrade equipment(The Smartpad), you need to update the USB driver as follow steps:

1. Press the MENU button and hold on, at the same time, connect the computer and the Smartpad by USB cable.

2. When the device access, the system(computer) will find new hardware pop-up boxes, select "Install from a list or specific location."

3. Click "Browse", select the directory where the USB driver.

4. Finally, install the USB driver.

* Note: When USB driver installation is complete, you can upgrade operation of the Smartpad.

1. Open the upgrade tool （ the file name: RKAndroidBatchUpgrade.exe ） .

2. Select the upgrade packages---the image file.

(the file name ： ******.img, for example ： update.img)

3. The Smartpad should be turned off, and then press the MENU button and hold on ， at the same time , connect the computer and Smartpad

by the USB cable.(If the power of the battery is very low, you can connect the adapter, using the power supply.)

4. In the Equipment upgrade area,the gray block will turn to green, it means that the upgrade equipment has been found. At this time, you can

update the software, just click the "upgrade" button.

* Note: When the gray block turn to green, you can no longer hold down the MENU button , and then start to upgrade.

5. When upgrade, the green block will turn to flashing yellow block.

6. When upgrade has been completed, it will prompt the result of the upgrade.("success" or "fail")

1. Do not open the Smartpad or attempt to service this product yourself. If the Smartpad is not operating properly or has been dropped or damaged,

contact your reseller, or service provider.

2. Keep the Smartpad in a well-Ventilated area, away from excessive light, heat ,or moisture.

3. Unplug the Smartpad from the power outlet before cleaning.

4. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

5. Do not drop the Smartpad or place it on an unstable surface.

6. Do not use ammonia, alcohol, or abrasive detergent cleaning agents.

7. Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust and loose particles.

8. Do not apply too much pressure on the screen to avoid damaging it.
