Afterunpackingtheblender,washeverythingexcepttheblenderbaseinwarm,soapy

water.Drythoroughly.Wipetheblenderbasewithadampclothorsponge.Donot

immersethebaseinwater.Careshouldbetakenwhenhandlingtheblades,astheyare

verysharp.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND USE

Important:Yourblenderjarandcuttingbladesaresubject

towearduringnormaluse.Alwaysinspectcuttingblades

forbroken,crackedorlooseblades.Ifjarorcuttingblades

aredamaged,donotuse.

• Makesureblenderisunplugged.Placeblenderbaseon

clean,drysurfacetokeepforeignparticlesfrombeing

pulledupintomotorduringoperation.

• Beforeinsertingbladeassembly,besurethatthegasket

isseatedaroundbladebase.

• Insertbladeassemblyontothebottomopeningofthejar.

Tiltthebladeslightlytoproperlyinsertit.

•Placethebottomcapbyscrewingitclockwiseontothejar

bottomuntiltight.

• Placethejaronthemotorbase,ensuringatightt.

• Plugcordintooutlet.

• Putingredientsinjar,placelidonjarmakingsureitis

pusheddowncompletelyintoposition.

• Processfoodorbeverages.Placehandonlidwhen

blendingliquids.Selectthedesiredfunctiononthecon-

trolpaneltostartblending,pleaserefertothe“Useofthe

SpecialFeaturesofYourBlender”sectionforoperating

instructions.

• Alwaysturnblenderofforwaituntilitshutsoff

automaticallyandbladeshavestoppedrotatingbefore

removingjarorlid.

• Removejarafterblendingiscompletebyliftingitfrom

motorbase.

USING THE BLENDER’S SPECIAL FEATURES

3 SPEED

Yourblenderhas3speedstochoosefrom;1(low),2

(medium)and3(high).Touseoneofthe3speeds,

presstheon/offbutton“ ”toturnontheblender,theon

indicatorlightwillstartblinkinguntilaspeedorfunctionis

selected.Selectthedesiredspeedtostartblending.The

indicatorlightwillbeon.Youcanchangespeedsduring

theblendingprocessbypressingoneoftheotherspeed

settings.

Note:Theblinkingonlightindicatestheblenderis

readytooperate.Avoidanycontactwithbladesor

moveableparts.Theblenderwillautomaticallyshutoff

after1minuteifnospeedorfunctionisselected.

ICE CRUSH FUNCTION

Tousetheicecrushingfunction,presstheon/offbutton

“ ”toturnontheblender,theonindicatorlightwillstart

blinking.Thenpresstheicecrushbutton“ ”tostartthe

icecrushingprocess.Theindicatorlightwillbeon.The

blenderwillpulseautomaticallyfor30secondsandthen

shutoffafter1minuteifnootherfunctionisselected.

DRINK MIXING FUNCTION

Tousethedrinkmixingfunction,presstheon/offbutton

“ ”toturnontheblender,theonindicatorlightwillstart

blinking.Thenpressthedrink-mixingbutton“ ”tostart

thedrinkmixingprocess.Theindicatorlightwillbeon.

Theblenderwillruncontinuouslyfor45secondsandthen

shutoffafteroneminuteifnootherfunctionisselected.

PULSE BUTTON

Forinstantcontrol,thepulsefunctionoperatesonlyas

longasthebuttonishelddown.Tousethisfunction

presstheon/offbutton“ ”toturnontheblender,the

onindicatorlightwillstartblinking.Tostartusingthe

pulsefunction,pressandholdthepulsebuttonforthe

desiredtime.Theblendermotorstopswhenthebuttonis

released.

STORING THE JAR IN THE REFRIGERATOR

Jarconvenientlytsintherefrigeratordoorforstoring

smoothies,shakesandfrozendrinks.Storinginfreezeris

notrecommended.

HINTS FOR BEST USE

• Processinghotfoodsorliquidsintheblendermaycausehotliquidtospurtoutwhen

thecoverisremoved.Alwaysliftthesnap-openspoutlocatedonthelidbeforeblend-

inghotfoodsorliquids.WARNING:WhenyouworkwithHOTLIQUIDS,ipthejarlid

openandstartatalowspeed,andgraduallyincreasetoafasterspeed.Donotadd

liquidoverthe1.0-liter/4cuplevel.Alwayskeephandsandexposedskinawayfrom

steam.Startblendingatlowestspeed.Jarwillbecomehotfromhotcontents.(Please

reviewImportantSafeguardssection.)

•Toaddliquidsandsmallingredientswhenblenderisoperating,liftthesnap-openspout

andaddingredientsthroughtheopening.

•Ifblendingactionstopsduringblendingoringredientssticktothesidesofthejar,

turnblenderoff.Removethecoverandusearubberspatulatopushmixturetowards

blades.

•Ifusingyourblendertomakesalsaorotherrecipesusingtomatoes,onionsandother

vegetables,youmayhavebetterresultsusingaslowerspeedfunctionorthepulse

function.

•Donottrytomashpotatoes,mixstiffdough,whipeggwhites,grindcorn,  

rawmeatorextractjuicesfromfruitsandvegetables.Theblenderwasnot  

madetoperformthesetasks.

•Avoidbumpingordroppingtheblender.

MAINTAINING YOUR BLENDER

HOW TO CLEAN THE BLENDER

•Presson/offbutton“ ”toturnblenderoffandunplugtheblenderfromelectricaloutlet.

• Wipeblenderbase,controlpanel,andcordwithadampclothorsponge.  

Toremovestubbornspots,useamild,non-abrasivecleanser.

• Tocleanjar,unscrewthebottomcap,keepingjartilted,soasnottodrop  

bladeassemblywhilebottomcapisremoved.

• Removethebladeassembly.Tiltbladeslightlytoproperlyremove.

• Carefullyremovegasketfromouterrimofbladeassembly.

• Carefullywashbladeassembly,gasket,jarandcoverinwarm,soapywater.Rinseand

drythoroughly.Donotimmersethebaseinwater.

• Placegasketontobladeassemblyandre-insertbladeassemblyintoglassjar.Doso

bytiltingitslightlytoenterintothebottomopeningofthejar.  

Moveasneededtocleartheremainingblades.

• Screwthebottomcapbackontojarinordertosecurebladeassemblyand  

placejarbackontomotorbase.
