This kit should only be installed by an
authorized Öhlins dealer. The installation
procedure requires certain tools.
Before installing this product, read this
document and the Owner’s Manual. The
front fork is an important part of your vehicle
and will affect the stability.

Install Öhlins Top Out Spring Kit
Warning!
It is advisable to have an Öhlins dealer install
this top out spring kit, always consult your
Owners manual when working on your fork.

Disassemble shaft according to Chapter 5.1 to
5.4 in the Owner’s Manual.

Remove spacer (01582-24) and the original
spring (21733-01).

Mount the spring-kit between the upper sleeve
(01653-09) and the piston (02061-07).

Tighten the Piston. Use a 20 mm wrench and
Loctite 243, Tightening torque 10 Nm.

Assemble front fork according to Chapter 6 in
Owner’s Manual.
