1. Installation of the water-heater should be done by authorized personnel only.
2. Future Retail Limited cannot be held responsible for the damages caused by wrong installation by
any unauthorized installation, usage of sub-standard water or not following instructions included in
this instruction manual.
3. When newly installed, make sure that the water flows freely from the outlet tap (or spout) before
electric supply is switched on.
4. Inlet water line should be continuously open when water heater is in use except when it is
being serviced.
5. When no more hot water is required the electric supply must be switched “OFF”.
6. Switch off water heater when not in use.
7. The red indicator lamp, which is ON during the normal operation, goes OFF when the thermostat
is activated.
8. The orange indicator lamp, goes OFF at cut-off operation. Take the appliance to your near-by Koryo
authorized service center or call Koryo customer care.
9. Use pressure reducing valve, if the height of the over head water tank from the water heater is more
than 30 meter..
10. The electrical connection should be in accordance with the instruction given.

A. Safety Valve
In-built safety valve(pressure relief valve) is set to operate between 50 to 60 PSI. Service the safety
valve at least once in 6 months.
1. Close inlet water supply.
2. Remove dirt/scales from inside of the water connection.
3. Push rubber disk gently to ensure it is not stuck.
4. Do not tamper with the pressure adjusting screw otherwise pressure setting will get disturbed.
5. Fix back after replacing old fiber washer.
6. Check for any leakage before switching on the electric supply.
B. Thermal Cut-out
Hi-tech non self-resetting Thermal Cut-out set to disconnect electrical supply through two poles for
extra safety (orange lamp off). Please take the appliance to your near-by Koryo authorized service
center or call Koryo customer care.
C. Thermostat
Self-resetting. Thermostat set to operate between 65°C & 75°C. Automatic resetting type, ON/OFF
indication by red lamp.

1. Read Instruction Manual carefully and follow instructions. Also keep it for future reference.
2. Safety valves are pre-set for certain working pressure. Under any circumstances do not tamper/
over-tighten the safety valve.
3. Check Inlet Water Pressure at the place of installation. If it is more than rated Pressure,
use Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV).
4. Check for water line blockage. Ensure proper water flow.
5. Ensure flow of water from outlet before connecting electric power supply to the appliance
6. Do not use excessive force while tightening Inlet and Outlet Couplings. This may cause serious
damage to water Heater. Use cross spanner for tightening.
7. Check supply voltage at the place of installation. It should be 230V, AC.
8. Ensure proper earthing of electrical connection.
9. No extension cords to be used.

12. Check the Water Heater operation for one complete cycle ie. one cycle of Thermostat operation.

This product comes with a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase as specified on the
warranty card.
This is against all defective material or workmanship. In the event of a defect, Future Retail Limited
or KORYO Authorized Service Centre undertakes to repair the set, free of charge, during the
warranty period.
In the event of a defect developing in the product, contact KORYO Customer Care or KORYO
Authorized Service Centre and provide information about the defect, the model number and
serial number of the product.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IF
1. The completely filled warranty card or invoice is not presented to the authorised personnel at the time
of servicing of the product.
2. The product is not operated according to the instructions given in the user manual.
3. Defects are caused by improper or reckless use.
4. Modifications or alterations have been made to the product or if the product has been tampered with, in
any manner whatsoever.
5. Repairs to the product are carried out by anyone other than an authorised company representative.
6. For defects other than faulty parts or workmanship such as damage due to lightning, abnormal voltage,
spillages, dust, accidental damage, etc.
7. The serial number is deleted or altered.
8. Used for any non–domestic purpose.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Repairs or replacement will be carried out either by a Future Retail Limited authorised customer care
centre of Koryo or by any authorized representative of Koryo.
2. All expenses incurred in dropping and collecting the unit(s) or part(s) thereof from the Customer
Service Centre, as well as any other expenses and incidentals will be borne by the customer.
3. Whilst the company will make every effort to carry out repairs at the earliest, it is made expressly clear
that the company is under no obligation to do so in a specified period of time.
4. The company or its authorised customer centre reserves the right to retain any part(s) or component(s)
replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during the warranty
5. The warranty period starts from the date of purchase from our authorised dealers / stores only.
6. The warranty shall not apply on breakage or/and damage of Ceramic Body Parts, Plastic Parts,
Plastic Body, Handles, Coupler, Blade, Lid, Bezel, Mount, Stand.
7. Parts Repairs or Replaced under this warranty are warranted only for the remainder of original
warranty period, i.e., no fresh warranty period shall commence for the said replaced/repaired part.
8. This product carries a Bring-In warranty, which means that the customer needs to carry the unit to
the near-by Koryo authorized service center for further repair.
9. Please contact Koryo customer care to know the details of Koryo authorized service centers.
10. The decision of company is final and binding on all matters out of this warranty.
11. Any dispute arising out of this warranty shall be subject to Mumbai jurisdiction only. Any notices to
be given to the provision of this warranty shall be marked to the address mentioned in the booklet.
