1. Overview
This document is a short description how to power up the Arctic product and how
to get it operational. This document contains the following sections:
Physical connections and switches
Inserting a SIM card
Setting an IP address using a web browser
GPRS/3G/LTE network settings

SIM card slot is located on the rear panel of the Arctic device (see figure 2).
Push the yellow button in the SIM card slot to eject the SIM card tray and
insert the SIM card to the tray (contacts facing up) and push the SIM card tray
firmly and carefully back to its holder.
Note! If your SIM card requires a PIN code, please do not install the SIM card
before you set up the Arctic device PIN code settings (see chapter 5).
The SIM card could lock up if done otherwise.
Also please note, It is recommended NOT to insert or remove the SIM card
while the Arctic device is in operation and connected to the mobile network.

4. Setting an IP Address Using a Web Browser
Connect the Ethernet cable between the Arctic device LAN port and your
computer.
Configure your computer to use the same IP address space as the Arctic device
(for example, your computer IP could be 10.10.10.11 with netmask 255.0.0.0).
Check with ping command.
Connect to the Arctic device using the web browser. The default address of the
Arctic is https://10.10.10.10/. Please make sure to use https and not http (see
figure 3).
Login to the device, the username is viola-adm and the default password is
violam2m Note! It is highly recommended that the default password is
changed before the product is connected to the public cellular network.

5. Wireless Network Settings
Login to the Arctic web user interface using your web browser.
Navigate to Network-->Mobile WAN subpage (see figure 4).

Set Access Point Name (APN) appropriately (usually INTERNET or
operatorname.com). This setting is depends on the mobile operator,
please refer to your operator documentation for the correct APN
setup.
Setup other settings if needed (usually PIN-code, authentication,
username and password).
Reboot Arctic device and check settings from System--> Status page.
