1. Introduction
In accordance with the Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Act (ElektroG) and the European WEEE
Directive 2012/19/EU, electrical and electronic
equipment mu be disposed of separately from
household wae at the end of their life.
If the device is operated with batteries, these
mu be removed before disposal. If batteries are
permanently inalled in the device, they mu be
removed by professional a for safety reasons.
These disassembly inructions show how to
proceed.
2. Information for Germany on disposal
in accordance with the Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)
and the WEEE Directive 2012/19/EU

packaging means that electrical and electronic
devices mu be disposed of separately from
household wae at the end of their life cycle.
u Always dispose of used equipment in
accordance with applicable regulations.
u For the return of old equipment, batteries and

points or a free return to beyerdynamic, as well
as other acceptance points for reuse. The

municipal adminiration.

3. Disposal of batteries

u Discharge the battery
before disposal.
u Remove the earbuds
from the charging case.
u Remove the eaip.
u Use a knife (cutter) to
loosen the decorative
cover all around.
u Remove the decorative
cover.

u Pull o the protective
fabric by hand and
loosen the PCB
connections.
u Loosen three screws on
the PCB.
u Remove the PCB and
carefully remove the
battery using a
screwdriver.
u Cut the cable between
the PCB and battery.
u Discharge the battery
before disposal.
u Open the charging
case and pull o the lid
cover.
u Close the lid and loosen
two screws to remove it.
u Li the inse for the
earbuds from the lower
housing all around.
u Pull out the LED
connection.
u Pull o the holder and
remove the light guide.
u Loosen two screws on
the PCB. Pull hard to
remove the PCB with
the battery. Cut the
cable between the
PCB and the battery.
