2022 Advanced Application Instructions

Eligible Participants:

Trainees from the 2021 cohort. If you were not a trainee in the 2021 cohort please return to

the full application instructions.

Available Tracks:

1. Full Course- Includes all components of the CTMC including the small group sessions,

webinars, closing activities, and all days of the intensive course (Monday July 18th -

21st).

2. Advanced Course- Tuesday July 19th - 21st. Focus is on advanced topics that may not

have been covered over the 2021 intensive course.

Instructions:

Full Course

Participants who would like to focus on a completely new research proposal should attend the

full course. This includes all components of the clinical trials methodology course and all four

days of the residential course in Iowa City, IA.

Trainees who would like to attend the full course should submit a new CTMC 2022 application

to redcap detailing the proposal they would like to work on. This application will be subject to the

same requirements as detailed in the application instructions and FAQs.

Advanced Course

Participants who would like to continue refining their current research proposal should attend

the advanced course. Participants of the advanced course will arrive on the evening of Tuesday,

July 19th and attend 1 ½ days of in-person training at the residential course. These days will

focus on advanced topics that may not be covered fully during the 2021 intensive course.

Trainees who would like to attend the advanced course should submit a letter of intent to the

advanced course application portal. You do not need to re-submit your application materials.

Do not submit a new application to Redcap.
