The Baby Lock Felling Foot has a 4mm underfoot groove which
is perfect for making at felled seams and for turning narrow
edges and hems on lightweight fabrics.
A at felled seam is the preferred seam for mens and womens
shirts and children’s casual garments. In a felled seam, the fabric
seam allowances are both encased and stitched with a double
row of topstitching.

Heres how to make a perfect felled seam with your Baby Lock

side. Trim the lower seam allowance to 3/8.
2. Turn the top seam allowance under 1/4” and press.
3. Place the fold in the groove of the foot. Edge stitch, guiding
the fold to the inside edge of the curl in the felling foot.
