PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC AREAS.
MAINTENANCE TIPS:
1. Clean lens: Debris must be kept clear from top of fixture.
Excessive heat could occur that may harm fixture gasket or
create a fire hazard.
2. Check screw tightness and lens cleanliness on a regular
maintenance schedule.
3. Use a soda straw to blow debris out of screw holes .
4. Lenses may be soaked in white vinegar to remove lime build-
up.
5. Replace gasket if it is cracked, torn, or badly depressed or
worn.
6. If trouble is experienced removing screws, try tapping lightly
with a hammer on the handle of the screwdriver while turning.
1. Remove screws from lamp housing in a crisscross pattern.
2. If moisture is observed, dry lamp compartment thoroughly and
operate lamp to remove moisture prior to closing up fixture.
3. When replacing lamp use correct lamp type and rated
wattage.
4. Check lens gasket for cracks and replace as often as
needed.
5. Remove debris from screw and holes or under gasket or lamp
housing will not seal properly.
6. Install screws and tighten evenly using a crisscross pattern
to 50 inch pounds, (minimum).
RELAMPING:
Use lamp with correct ANSI code
and rated wattage.
If moisture is observed,
dry lamp compartment thoroughly
and operate lamp to remove moisture
prior to closing fixture.
