IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Read and understand all instructions before using this ramp. Keep this
manual for the safety warnings and precautions, operating, inspection and maintenance
instructions. When using this ramp, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the equipment.
WORK AREA
1. Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
2. Operate in a safe work environment. Do not use load anything with this ramp when it is wet or when it
is raining.
3. Keep children, bystanders and visitors away from the work area. All persons not involved in the
loading process must stand clear of the loading ramps.
4. Store unused equipment. When not in use, tools must be stored in a dry location to prevent rust.
Always lock up tools and keep them out of reach of children.
PERSONAL SAFETY
1. Use hand and foot protection. Wear gloves and steel toed boots.
2. Do not over reach; keep proper footing and balance at all times. Proper footing and balance enables
better control of the vehicles you are loading in unexpected situations.
4. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use your common sense. Do not operate any machine or
tool when you are tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications.
TOOL USE AND CARE
1. Use the right tool for the job. Do not attempt to force a small tool or attachment to do the work of a
larger industrial tool. The tool will perform better and safer at the task for which it was intended. Do not
modify this tool or use for a purpose for which it was not designed.
SERVICE
1. Check for damaged parts. Before using the ramp, any part that appears to be damaged should be
carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform it's intended functions. Check
for alignment and binding of moving parts; broken parts or mounting fixtures, or any other condition
that may affect proper operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by a
qualified technician.
2. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Only use accessories intended for use with this
ramp.

SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Bouncing or dropping onto ramps increases the load and may reduce rated
capacity substantially.
1. Avoid working alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.
2. Use your ramps on a solid, level, flat, dry surface. Make sure the flange faces down and the tongue
(#2) Edge fully contacts the end of the truckbed.
3. Clean Ramps. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil or any debris off the ramps.
4. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil or any debris off ramps.
5. Periodically check the ramps for stress fractures and breakage.
6. Tighten nuts and bolts before each use.
WARNING: NEVER EXCEED THE 1000 LB. MAXIMUM LOAD VEHICLE SLOWLY.
DO NOT DROP LOAD ONTO RAMP; THIS MAY REDUCE LOAD CAPACITY AND POSSIBLY
LEAD TO PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
ASSEMBLY
Warning: In the following assembly process, the flange pictured below must face down
with the Tongue (#2) edge
fully contacting the end of the
truckbed. It is designed to keep
the ramps from moving once the
weight of the load is riding on
the ramp.
Refer to the Assembly Drawing on
Page 7.
1. Line up the four holes on
the Tongue (#2) with the
four holes on the Ramp (#1).
Insert four Bolts (#3) from the top (as pictured on page 7) and secure with Split Lock Washers (#4)
and Nuts (#5).
2. Repeat with other ramp.
OPERATION
WARNING! As you will be loading heavy machinery/vehicles on these ramps, please keep
the following warnings in mind:
It is very important to place the ramps correctly. Tailgates have a capacity of less than 500 lbs. it is
therefore critical that you remove the tailgate and install the ramp on the back of the truck bed. Failure to
follow these instructions could result in serious injury or damage!
Make sure no persons or animals are under the ramps or the end of the truck bed during the
loading process.
Do not run the load vehicle prior to the loading process. The vehicle's engine must be cool to the
touch before loading.
Never exceed the 1000 lb max. weight capacity.
Load vehicle slowly.
Do not drop load onto ramp; this may reduce load capacity and possibly lead to personal injury
and/or property damage.
Do not drive a vehicle up the loading ramps. Serious injury could result.
Reminder: All loading and unloading must be done on a flat, level, dry surface.
LOADING A MOTORCYCLE
(Recommended: 3 people for loading)

of the truckbed.
3. Position a person on each side of the motorcycle. Each person should hold either the front handlebar
or the front fork, where they can steer/guide the vehicle.
4. They should position their other hand toward the rear of the seat or the rear fork. The third person
can start the process from the rear, by pushing, then move to the inside of the truck bed to take control
of the motorcycle when it enters the truck bed.

remains in contact with the truckbed. If not, roll back and slowly start over.

of the truckbed.
3. Position a person on each side holding the handlebar and the rear rack. Position a third person in
the rear to push.
4. Put the ATV in neutral.
5. As the ATV contacts the ramps, make sure the ramps remain straight, and the tongue edges
remain in contact with the truckbed. If not, roll back and slowly start over.
LOADING A DOLLY WITH AN APPLIANCE
(Recommended: 3 people for loading)
1. Make sure the ramps are clean of dirt, debris, grease and oil. Space the ramps to match the dolly
wheels.
2. The tongue edges must be face down (see Assembly, page 4) in order to fully contact with the end
of the trucked.
