SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Bouncing or dropping onto ramps increases the load and may reduce rated
capacity substantially.
1. Avoid working alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.
2. Use your ramps on a solid, level, flat, dry surface. Make sure the flange faces down and the tongue
(#2) Edge fully contacts the end of the truckbed.
3. Clean Ramps. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil or any debris off the ramps.
4. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil or any debris off ramps.
5. Periodically check the ramps for stress fractures and breakage.
6. Tighten nuts and bolts before each use.
WARNING: NEVER EXCEED THE 1000 LB. MAXIMUM LOAD VEHICLE SLOWLY.
DO NOT DROP LOAD ONTO RAMP; THIS MAY REDUCE LOAD CAPACITY AND POSSIBLY
LEAD TO PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.
ASSEMBLY
Warning: In the following assembly process, the flange pictured below must face down
with the Tongue (#2) edge
fully contacting the end of the
truckbed. It is designed to keep
the ramps from moving once the
weight of the load is riding on
the ramp.
Refer to the Assembly Drawing on
Page 7.
1. Line up the four holes on
the Tongue (#2) with the
four holes on the Ramp (#1).
Insert four Bolts (#3) from the top (as pictured on page 7) and secure with Split Lock Washers (#4)
and Nuts (#5).
2. Repeat with other ramp.
OPERATION
WARNING! As you will be loading heavy machinery/vehicles on these ramps, please keep
the following warnings in mind:
• It is very important to place the ramps correctly. Tailgates have a capacity of less than 500 lbs. it is
therefore critical that you remove the tailgate and install the ramp on the back of the truck bed. Failure to
follow these instructions could result in serious injury or damage!
• Make sure no persons or animals are under the ramps or the end of the truck bed during the
loading process.
• Do not run the load vehicle prior to the loading process. The vehicle's engine must be cool to the
touch before loading.
• Never exceed the 1000 lb max. weight capacity.
• Load vehicle slowly.
• Do not drop load onto ramp; this may reduce load capacity and possibly lead to personal injury
and/or property damage.
• Do not drive a vehicle up the loading ramps. Serious injury could result.
Reminder: All loading and unloading must be done on a flat, level, dry surface.
