OPERATING (Cont’d)
Loading the Carrier Deck When loading the carrier
deck, ensure the load is evenly distributed and centered.
Failure to center the load may cause the machine to be
unbalanced and may tip over. The carrier frames are
there to help prevent a load from shifting. Tiedown
straps are always recommended. Be sure that the
weight of the load is not directly on the carrier frame.
This may cause the frame to bend or become damaged.
Expanding the Carrier Rails The carrier rails can be
extended outward up to 10 CM (4in). Always adjust the
rails to be as close to the load as possible and be sure to
tighten the carrier Rail Tightening knobs. To expand the
carrier rails, loosen the carrier Rail Tightening knobs,
move the rail outward, and ensure the tightening knob
screw engages on the carrier frame tube before
tightening the knob. Do not over-tighten.
Extending the Carrier Deck The carrier deck can be
expanded lengthwise up to 20 CM (8in).
NEVER try to expand the deck with a load on the
machine. Remove everything from the deck prior to
expanding.
The carrier deck is extended by loosening the two deck
slide knobs on the left and right sides of the rear frame.
Set the forward/reverse switch into the forward
position, and while holding tight to the handles, and
operate the throttle until the deck extends fully and the
extension deck plate becomes visible. Once the deck is
extended, do not forget to re-tighten both deck slide
knobs.
Retracting the Carrier Deck The carrier deck can be
retracted by loosening the two deck slide knobs on the
left and right sides of the rear frame. Never Squeeze the
brake lever or engage the parking brake lock and push
the rear frame forward until the two deck plates cover
the extension deck plate.
Using the drive motor in reverse to retract the deck is
not recommended because the machine may back into
the operator.

Handle Adjustments The handles may be adjusted for
comfort. The handles may be rotated to a storage
position as shown in order to save space, they may also
be rotated outwards to a comfortable position for the
operator. To rotate the handles, loosen the handle
adjustment knobs and rotate the handles into the
desired position. Tighten the adjustment knobs to
secure in place.
The height of the handles can be adjusted in three 6 CM
(2-3/8in) steps. To adjust the height of the handles,
loosen the handle adjustment knobs enough so the
handles can be freely moved up or down. Each step on
the handle tube has an indicator groove and a clamping
groove. Move the handle so that the indicator groove is
aligned with the top of the tube socket, and tighten the
adjustment knob so the handle does not move.
Tires There are two pneumatic tires on the front of the
vehicle, and two no-flat casters on the rear. The front
tire size is 13x5.00-6 and has an inflatable tube inside.
Check the tire air pressure often and do not exceed the
maximum tire pressure of 30 PSI. Always ensure both
tires have the same pressure. Improperly inflated tires
will affect the load capacity and handling.
Brake System The brake system consists of a pair of
hydraulically operated disc brakes which are
mechanically actuated by a brake hand lever. The
braking force is set at the factory, however after
extended use it may be necessary to adjust it. To adjust
the braking force, tighten the brake cable by extending
the adjusting nut on the brake handle.
Never operate a machine that has a braking problem.
Contact the dealer or a qualified brake mechanic if the
problem cannot be remedied yourself.
Avoid using the machine in wet or damp environments
as this will affect braking. Always test for proper brake
operation prior to using the machine.

Drivetrain The drivetrain consists of a DC powered
drive motor, a speed reduction gearbox, and a
differential gear. This system is adjusted at the factory
and should not need repair or adjustment. The speed
reduction gearbox can be disengaged and engaged by
shifting the drive lever mounted on the left side of the
rear frame. Disengaging the drive will allow the machine
to be pushed manually.
Do not engage or disengage the drive while the machine
is on. This may damage the drive motor or the speed
reduction gearbox. Always stop the machine, engage the
brake, and turn the power switch key into the off
position prior to shifting the drive lever.

POISON - CAUSES SEVERE BURNS
The battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.
To prevent accidents, neutralize excess acid with baking soda and thoroughly rinse the area with water.
In case of:
SKIN CONTACT: rinse with water, remove and wash wetted clothing.
INHALATION OF ACID MIST: inhale fresh air, seek advice of a medical doctor.
CONTACT WITH THE EYES: rinse under running water for several minutes, seek immediate medical
attention.
SWALLOWING or INGESTION: drink large quantities of milk or water, followed by milk of magnesia,
vegetable oil, raw beaten eggs, or swallow activated carbon, do not induce vomiting. Call a poison
control center or doctor immediately.
Battery The battery is a rechargeable 24VDC, 24AH
Encapsulated Lead-Acid Battery which does not require
maintenance or adjustment. It may be removed from
the machine for charging by opening the deck plates,
unplugging the 3-prong connector, and undoing the hook and pile strap. It is recommended that the
battery be charged in the machine, however if charging externally, the charging port and 3-prong
connection may also be removed from the machine. Contact the distributor if additional batteries
or connectors are desired. Batteries will naturally loose their charge while not in use for extended
periods, always charge the battery fully before use and every two months when in storage. The
battery life deteriorates over time and may need to be replaced when the output voltage becomes
too low. When this occurs, contact the distributor for a replacement battery.

OPERATING (Cont’d)
Charger The charger operates with an input voltage
between 100VAC and 240VAC, and either 50 or 60 Hz
without needing to adjust. Its output is 29VDC, 3.5A.
The charger should not be used to charge other
products. Doing so may result in damage to the charger
or the other product.
To use the charger, plug the charger output cable into
the charging port on the machine, then plug the charger
AC cable into a suitable AC receptacle. The charge
indicator light will illuminate RED when the battery is
charging, and will illuminate GREEN when the battery is
fully charged. Allow up to 8 hours to fully charge a
battery. If the lamp fails to illuminate, or if the charge
indicator light does not turn GREEN after 12 hours,
unplug the AC cable and check to see if the battery or
