PLAY A TAPE: (THREE STEPS)
FIRST STEP:
(1) Plug the power cable to the AC power supply.
(2) Insert a selected cassette tape into the device with the exposed side against
the control button.
SECOND STEP:
To fast-forward, lightly press the control button as seen in figure .
THIRD STEP:
To stop the playing and eject the tape, fully press down the control button; the tape
will then be ejected.
CONNECT THE DEVICE TO SPEAKERS
Use the set of stereo RCA jacks on the top of the device to connect your cassette
player to an amplifier or receiver.
RECORD THE MUSIC:
1. Connect the USB cable to the device and computer. No extra drivers are required.
2. Double click the Audacity program. You should see this interface screen on your
computer.
3. Adjust the output and input volume to your liking.
4. Select the “Edit” menu and then “Preference” select the USB PnP Audio Device
under the “Recording” selection, Channels: 2(stereo). Also select Software
Playthrough to hear the audio while recording.
Note: the USB cassette recorder may show up with a different name. This may
depend on your computer model and operating system.
5. Select the RECORD button
to start recording.
6. Select the PAUSE
button to pause the recording.
7. Select the STOP button to stop the recording.
8. Select the
to skip to start.
9. Select the
button to go to end.
10. You can see the recorded file on your computer and convert the recorded file to other
formats including .WAV/ MP3/Ogg Vorbis.
11. Play the saved file.
Open the saved file in the Audacity program and press the PLAY
button to play
the file. Or copy it to a digital music player like an iPod!
