Mustang Light Covers (87-93) - Installation Instructions

The below installation instructions work for the following products:

 Mustang Smoked Headlight Covers (87-93)

 Mustang Smoked Taillight Covers (87-93 GT)

 Mustang Smoked Taillight Covers (87-93 LX)

Please read through the instructions carefully before starting this project. Take the time to get all the materials together as

well as all the safety equipment.

Headlight Covers Install:

1. Tuck the bottom edge of the light cover between the headlight and bumper cover as shown:

2. Once the cover is secured between the light housing and bumper cover, push the top part towards the headlight and

tuck it under the radiator support as shown. Repeat for opposite side to complete the installation.

Tail Light Cover Install:

Note: The following instructions are applicable for both GT & LX Smoked Tail Light Covers.

1. Using the supplied Alcohol Prep Pads, thoroughly clean the area of the tail light where the tape will be affixed.

2. Peel away the backing from the Velcro strips. Align cover carefully over tail light, but do not fully press down yet. Once

the cover is centered over the light, firmly press down to fully seat the adhesive backing. Repeat for opposite side to

complete the installation.
