Procedure for programming a Sick Switch for operation of the Timer function of the SD-
10G Transmitter.
Select SYSTEM using the Navigation Pad. Press ENTER.
Scroll down using the Navigation Pad and highlight TIMER (15). Press ENTER.
Highlight Stop Watch and press ENTER.
Set your desired Minutes and Seconds using Navigation Pad and the YES/+ key.
Press the END key three times.
Highlight SYSTEM and press the ENTER key.
Scroll down using the Navigation Pad to SWitch ASSIGN(13). Press ENTER.
Scroll down to START. Use the YES/+ key to set START to S1. USTOP is not setU to prevent the
Timer
from stopping if you move the Throttle stick to the Low Throttle position.
Press the END key twice. Press the ENTER key to access the SYSTEM menu.
croll down to STICK SWITCH (14) and press the ENTER key.

Set STICK >TH using the Navigation Pad and Yes/+ key. Move the THROTTLE STICK to a hi
throttle position so STICK is about at half throttle position. Use the Navigation Pad to Highlight

When you move the THROTTLE STICK above 15% The Timer will start. When the Timer counts

Procedure to obtain DUAL AILERONS in each wing of a BIPLANE model, with FLIGHT
MODE switch activated FLAPERON or SPOILRON action on only the upper wing, using
the SD-10G transmitter.
Select SYSTEM. Press ENTER. Scroll to TYPE (#05). Press ENTER.
Use the Navigation Pad with the YES/+ and NO/- keys to make the following assignments.
Wing >Normal, Ail >2, Flap >l, Tail >Normal, TH >1. Press the END key.
Scroll down to CHANNEL ASSIGN (#12). Press ENTER.
Using the Navigation Pad with the YES/+ and NO/- keys make the following channel assignments.
01 >EL, 02 >LA, 03 >TH, 04 >RU, 05 >GE 06 >RA, 07 >A1, 08 >A2, 09 >A3, 10 >A3
Channel #7 will be the lower wing RA & #8 will be the LA on the lower wing.
Press the END key.
Scroll down to SWITCH ASSIGN (#13). Press ENTER.
Make the following assignments:
F-Mode 1 >10 >OR >- -; FLAP 1 >12 >OR 10
C-MIX 1 >12>OR >10; C-MIX 2 >12 >OR >10; C-MIX 3 >12 >OR >10;
C-MIX 4 >12>OR 10; Press END key twice.
Select F-MODE. Press ENTER. Scroll down to MIXING (#17). Press ENTER.
Select FLAPERON (#01). Press ENTER. UTurn ON switch #10

NOTE: All values are trial values. Fine tune and set up servo throws, reversing and EPA’s as necessary
for a specific model.
COMPENSATION MIXERS # 1, 2, 3 & 4 determine the servo throws for lower wing Channels #7 and
#8.
With switch #10, 11, 12, in the 12 position you are in the Normal Flight mode with top and bottom wing
ailerons all working together with individual settings. When switch #10, 11, 12 is in the Flight Mode #10
position the Flaperon function is active on the upper wing Aileron channels 2 and 6.
When Switch #10, 11, 12 is in the #11 position only Aileron Channels 2 and 6 are active.
Select the SURFACE menu to set individual EPA throws for Aileron channels #2 (LA) and #6 (RA).
The Channel #2 and #6 EPA values effect Uall Uof the Aileron servos, both top and bottom wing.
AUX 1 and AUX 2 EPA is set at the default value of –100% and is never changed.

SD-10G AERO
Procedure to obtain 3-Position operated Flaperons (Ailerons) controlled by a 3-position
switch using the SD-10G transmitter.
Select SYSTEM using the Navigation Pad and Yes/+ key. Press ENTER.
Scroll down to TYPE. Set it to read: AERO; WING >NORMAL; AILERON >2; FLAP >1; TAIL
>NORMAL; THROTTLE >1. Press END.
Scroll down to CHANNEL ASSIGN. Press ENTER. Make the following assignments:
F-MODE 1 >14; F-MODE 2 >13; FLAP 1 >14; FLAP 2 >13; C-MIX 1 >14 >OR >13;
C-MIX 2 >14 >OR >13. Press END key twice.
Select SURFACE. Press ENTER. Set Servo Reversing for correct Aileron, Elevator, etc., operation.
Turn ON switch #14. Set FLAP EPA 1 50%. Turn ON switch #13. Set EPA 2 100%. Press END.
Scroll Down to F-MODE. Press ENTER. Scroll down to C-MIX (#18) Press ENTER.
Turn ON Switch #14. Set C-MIX 1 as follows:

NOTE: Polarity determines the direction of servo throw. These are all trail values. Fine tune setup as
needed after completion of setup. Flaperons (Ailerons) operate with half value with Switch #14 ON, and
at full value with Switch #13 ON.
Scroll down to VR ASSIGN (#19). Press ENTER. Make All items read: > - - - Press END.
Channel outputs are: 01 >EL; 02 >LA; 03 >TH; 04 >RU; 05 >GE; 06 >RA; 07 >FL (if used); 08 >A3;
09 >A2; 10 >A1.

SD-10G AERO
Procedure to obtain 3-Position Switch operated FLAPERONS, using FLIGHT MODES,
with SD-10G to provide Delay on Down FLAPERON and FLAPS with Elevator
Compensation. FLAPERON output is on Channels #2 (LA) and #6 (RA). Flap output is
on channels #7 (LF) and #8 (RF).
Select SYSTEM using the Navigation Pad. Press ENTER.
Scroll Down using the Navigation Pad to TYPE. Press ENTER.
Use the Navigation Pad and YES/+ key to make the display read:

Press ENTER and then the END key.

Press the END key twice.
Select SURFACE. Press ENTER.
Select EPA. Turn ON switch #11. Set Both LF and RF to 50% for FLAP 1.
Turn ON switch #10. Set Both LF and RF to 100% for FLAP 2.
Press END key.
Select F-MODE. Press ENTER. Scroll down to MIXING #(17). Press ENTER.
Highlight FLAPERON (#01) Turn ON Switch #11.
Use the Navigation Pad and YES/+ and NO/- keys to make the display read as follows for F-MODE (1).

SD-10G AERO
Procedure for Thrust Vectoring in an Electric powered Ducted Fan model. Dual
Elevator’s are on Channels #1(LE) and #8(RE); Dual Aileron Channels are on #2(LA)
and #6(RA); Channel #3 (TH); Channel #4(RU); Channel #5(GE); Channel #7(FL) is
Rudder Thrust Vane; Channel #9(Aux 2) and #10(Aux 1) are Elevator Thrust vanes.
Turn the Display switch ON. .
Select SYSTEM: Press ENTER: Scroll down to TYPE(5) and press ENTER. Use Yes/+ and
NO/- keys to make it read:
AERO, WING NORMAL, AILERON > 2, FLAP > 1, TAIL > 2>EL, THROTTLE >1. Press ENTER
and YES to Create New Data. Press END.
Scroll to CHannel ASSIGN and press ENTER. Write down all of the channel assignments.
Note that Channel 7, 9 and 10 will become the Thrust Vector channels.
Channel 7 will be for the Rudder, and AUX 2 and 1 for Elevators. Press END KEY.
Scroll down to SWitch ASSIGNment and press ENTER. Assign your Dual Rate switches as
desired. Scroll down to F-Mode. Use YES/+ or NO/- keys to make it read F-MODE 1 > 22 >or >
-- --. Scroll down to GEAR and assign it to a switch of your choice. Scroll down to C-MIX 1 and
make it read >22 > OR -- --. Do the same for C-MIX 2 and C-MIX 3.Press the END key twice.
Select F-MODE: Press ENTER. Scroll down to C-MIXING (18). Press ENTER. Turn ON
Switch 22.
Use YES/+ and NO/- keys to make screen read:

When Flight Mode Switch #22 is ON Mixing will occur, and channel #7 will respond to
the Rudder stick and Channels #9 and #10 will respond to the Elevator stick.

SD-10G AERO
Procedure for obtaining four different In-Flight Selectable Flight Modes using the SD-10G
Transmitter for controlling the Fun-Fly Ultra Stick type model with dual Flaps and
Ailerons.
Normal: No Mixing
Flight Mode 1: Takeoff, with Flaps in Down Position
Flight Mode 2: Elevator to Flap Mixing. Up Elevator causes the Flaps to go Down.
Down Elevator causes the Flaps to go UP.
Flight Mode 3: Aileron to Flap Mixing. Flaps work in the same direction as
the Ailerons.
Flight Mode 4: Crow. Ailerons go UP, Flaps go Down, with Flaps responding
to Aileron commands with Flap to Elevator Compensation.
NOTE: Prior to programming your SD-10G for a specific model, Use MODEL SELECT, to select a
specific AERO model as shown on page 29 of your instruction manual. BIND and set the SAFETY
LINK as indicated on page 21 of your instruction manual. The SAFETY LINK should match the
currently selected model.
Select SYSTEM using the Navigation Pad. Press the ENTER key.
Scroll down using the Navigation Pad and highlight MODEL NAME by pressing the ENTER key.
Enter a MODEL NAME as described on page 29 of your SD-10G manual. Press END when complete.
Scroll down using the Navigation Pad to TYPE. Press the ENTER key. Use the YES/+ and NO/- key to
select AERO. Use the Navigation Pad and the YES/+ and NO/- keys to make it read:
WING > NORMAL, AILERON >2, FLAP >2, TAIL >NORMAL, THROTTLE >1
Press the ENTER key to save the selection option> Press the YES/+ key to CREATE NEW DATA.
Press the END key.
Scroll down using the Navigation Pad and select CHANNEL ASSIGN. Press the ENTER key.
The Default SD-10G Channel Assignments for the above selections are as follows:
#1 Elevator
#2 Left Aileron
#3 Throttle
#4 Rudder
#5 Gear
#6 Right Aileron
#7 Left Flap
#8 Right Flap
#9 AUX 2
#10 AUX
Press the END key
Select SWITCH ASSIGN using the Navigation Pad Down arrow. Press ENTER.

FLIGHT MODE 1—Takeoff with Flaps in Down Position
Select SURFACE using the Navigation Pad. Press ENTER
Turn ON Flight Mode 1 Switch (#11)
Press Navigation Pad Down arrow and select EPA. Scroll to the right and select the LF
Use the YES/+ key to input a value of 50%. Do the same for the RF.
The screen will show 1 50% indicating that FLAP 1 is used for this function. Note that polarity
determines the direction of servo throw and value the amount........... Press END key twice.
FLIGHT MODE 2 --- Elevator to Flap Mixing
Select F-MODE. Press ENTER
Turn ON Flight Mode 2 Switch (#10)
Scroll down to MIXING. Press ENTER
Scroll down to EL > FL. Press ENTER
Use the Navigation Pad and the YES/+ and NO/- keys to make it read:
F-MODE (2)

EL >LF > 20%
EL >RF > 20%
Press the END Key twice.
FLIGHT MODE 3 ---Aileron to Flap Mixing
Scroll down to C-MIX. Press ENTER.
Turn ON Flight Mode 3 Switch (#23)
Select C-MIX 1.
Use the Navigation Pad and the YES/+ and NO/- keys to make it read and show a graphical display.

Use the Navigation Pad and the Yes/+ and NO/- keys to make it read:

Point 9 > +75%
Delay > 0%
Press the END key. Press ENTER.
Select C-MIX 4.
Use the Navigation Pad and the YES/+ and NO/- keys to make it read:

Use the Navigation Pad to select MIXING. Press the ENTER key.
Select FLAPERON –Press ENTER key. Flight Mode 4 Switch (#22) is still ON.
Use the YES/+ key and NO/- Keys to make the Flaperon Mix read as follow

Use the YES/+ key and NO/- keys to make Flap to Elevator Compensation Mix read as follows:

Select SURFACE using the Navigation Pad. Press ENTER.
Press the Navigation Pad Down arrow and select EPA. Scroll to the right and select LF.
Use the Yes/+ key to input a value of 100%. Do the same for the RF

the direction of the Flap servo throw and value the amount....Press the END key twice.
Note: Turn OFF each Flight Mode switch after completion of each of the Flight Mode mixes. The above
figures are trial values. Fine tune later. The value determines the amount of servo travel and the polarity
determines the direction of servo travel.
