General things
Your TS-5000 offers three different display
areas for:
- Time with alarm function
- Temperature
- Date with weekday.
If you switch ON the SENSOR CONTROL
button on the lower rear side of the unit, the
display and housing illumination will light up
at a touch of the unit or a sufficient loud
sonic signal (e. g. clapping).
We have inserted a transparent protection
foil between the battery poles so that the
batteries are still fresh at their first use.
In order to start-up
the unit, please open
first of all the battery
compartment and
remove the protection
foil. In doing so, the
display should be
activated immediately.

display and you can enter the current time

Then, push the SET key once again. Now,
the minute value is flashing and you can
enter the minute of the current time by
using the 5 or 6 key.

the 5 or 6 key.
After some seconds the unit leaves the
ALARM mode and resumes the time display.
The alarm time is stored and the alarm
symbol appears in the display.
You can let the unit display the alarm time
for some seconds by pressing the MODE
button.
At the set time, the alarm tone is activated
and will be peeping for a maximum of 30
seconds or until you press the ALARM STOP
button on the rear side of the unit.
The alarm time is, however, saved and the
alarm will be executed the next day. In
order to switch the alarm function off (or
later on again), push the MODE key and
then the 5 key. The alarm clock symbol
informs you about the status.

Temperature display
In the lower display the unit shows you the
current room temperature. Push the C/F
button for changing from Celsius to
Fahrenheit as measuring unit.
Changing the batteries
This model utilizes four batteries (1,5V, size
“AAA”) to supply the clock function and the
illumination. If you want to use the clock
function only without any illumination effects,
you just need the two batteries in the left row.
However, to enjoy the coloured lighting the
complete set of batteries must be installed.
For doing so, open the battery compartment
on the rear side of the unit. Remove the
discharged batteries and insert a set of new
ones according to the layout that is shown in
the battery compartment. Do not mix new and
old batteries as the old ones may leak.
When replacing batteries look out exactly for
the compliance of the correct polarity,
otherwise, the appliance will not function and
can be damaged. For a longer useful economic
life, you should use alkaline batteries. Close
the battery compartment again.

Batteries do not belong into the domestic
waste. Please turn your discharged
batteries in at the responsible collecting
point or at the place where you have
bought the new ones. Never throw
batteries into fire.
If you do not use the appliance for a longer
period of time, remove the batteries from the
battery compartment in order to avoid
damage due to leakage of the batteries.
Resetting
If you want to reset all settings into the state
of delivery, push the switch behind the RESET
opening on the bottom side of the appliance
with a pointed object (e.g. a needle). You
must then newly set the time and the date.
Disposal advice
When the operating life of this
device has ended it must not be
disposed as domestic waste, but
in accordance with national
environmental guidelines.
