INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Park the vehicle on a smooth, level, hard surface,
such as concrete. Turn the vehicle ignition to the
"OFF" position and remove the key.
2. Assemble the hanger bars to the vee with
3/8" carriage bolts, lock washers and nuts.
3. Place the inverted vee into the hopper.
4. Attach one hanger bar to the engine side of the
cross-channel support with 2 carriage bolts,
lockwashers and nuts. (For 10' hopper, attach to
the rearmost preinstalled inverted vee support.)

CAUTION

CAUTION
Use standard methods and practices when
attaching spreader and installing accessories
including proper personal protective safety
equipment.
WARNING
Do not exceed the GVWR or GAWR ratings as
found on the driver-side vehicle door
cornerpost.
5. If an inverted vee support is already in place,
attach the other hanger bar to it with 2 carriage
bolts, lockwashers and nuts.
If the hopper does not already have an inverted
vee support in place, one needs to be installed.
Attach the inverted vee support to the hanger bar.
Make sure the inverted vee support is parallel to
the cross-channel support. Using the two holes
in the inverted vee support end plate as a guide,
drill two 3/8" holes through each side of the
hopper body. Attach the inverted vee support to
the hopper body with four 3/8" cap screws, fl at
washers, lockwashers and nuts.
6. Torque fasteners to 31 ft-lb.
