Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 50379/ 50395/ 50397/ 51095/ 51097/ 51379 digital music
player, voice recorder and USB memory device. This new generation digital portable
device supports multiple music formats including MP3, WMA and WAV. Music Express
software allows you to upload and download music to and from your digital music player,
create audio and MP3 CDs, organize your songs in playlists, rip music from audio or
MP3 CDs and much more. Please read this manual carefully before using your new
player.
We reserve the right to make changes to this manual without prior notice. If your player
does not function exactly as documented in the manual, please visit our website for the
latest product information.
NOTE: Certain features in “Music Express” are not supported by the Windows 2000 or
Vista operating systems. Please refer to the Help files in the “Music Express” application
for more details. Music Express is not supported in Windows 98.

The Button Functions
1. Previous – previous track/fast backward
2. Next – next track/fast forward
3. Mode – option button to access menus and sub-menus/save the record(Record
mode)
4. Vol + - increase volume
5. Vol – - decrease volume
6. Start/Stop – on/ play/ pause/ stop/ off
Press and release:
i. Play/ stop (Music mode)
ii. Record/ pause (Record mode)
7. Lock – lock the player after selecting the desired function
8. REC/A-B- Fast recording/A-B repeat
Starting your digital music player
Press and hold the Start/stop button (10) for 1 to 2 seconds, and the welcome screen will
appear. You will now be in the main menu.

The Modes
There are 4 modes:
Play Music, Voice (Record mode), Settings and Info.
The main menu:
To enter the main menu from another menu, press and hold down the mode button until you
see the main menu.
To enter a mode:
1. Select a mode using the last or next button.
2. Press the mode button to confirm your selection.

Play Music
What is MP3?
MP3 is an audio file format that compresses sound files to up to 1/10th of their original
size without affecting sound quality. This sound compression means that an MP3 file
takes up much less space on a computer hard disk than a file extracted from an audio
CD (WAV file).
1. From the main menu, (briefly) press the Next or Previous button to select Play
Music mode.
2. (Briefly) press the Mode button.
3. Using the Next or Previous buttons, choose the desired track.
4. Press the Start/stop button to start playing the track.

The following information will be displayed on the screen: The number of tracks available,
the track number selected and its duration.
Playing music
1. Connect the earphone to the EARPHONE port
2. Set the LOCK button to unlock
3. Push the PLAY button to turn on the player
4. Push PRE/NEXT button to access the Play Music mode

5. Push the PLAY button to start playing
In the Playing mode:
Press PRE/NEXT to go forward or back a track
Press and hold PRE/NEXT to fast forward and rewind
Press PLAY button to pause playing
Press -/+ button to Decrease/Increase the volume.

The Lyric Function
You can program your player to display the lyrics of a song while playing.
1. Prepare the song lyrics with ‘LRC” file or extention in a notepad file on your computer.
2. Save the lyrics file, with the same name as the song title, as an "LRC" file. For example,
if the song title is "say you say me", then lyrics file must be named " say you say me.lrc"
3. Upload the LRC file with the edited lyrics and the relevant song to the player.
Press and hold down the Mode button in the Play Music mode, and the lyrics of the song
will appear on the LCD screen. Press and release the Mode button again to exit.
Re-reading mode:
In play mode, briefly press the MODE button to confirm the starting point A.
Again press briefly on the MODE button to confirm the finishing point B. The player
will replay the content from point A to point B.
Briefly press the MODE button and the player will be set to the normal playing
status.

Delete file:
1. Press and hold the Play button to until the player turns on;
2. Long press the MODE button to enter the main menu;
3. Press Pre/Next to select Folder
4. Short press the MODE button to enter Folder.
5. Short press the MODE button to Select Play now/Delete.

6. Short press MODE button to Delete file.
Voice (Record mode)
1. Press and hold the Play button until the player turns on.
2. Long press the Mode button to enter the main menu.
3. Press the Prev/Next button to select the Voice mode.

4. Briefly press the Mode button to enter the Voice mode.
5. Again, briefly press the REC button to start recording.

6. Press the Play button to start or pause the recording.
Your player can hold up to 8.5 hours of recording (depending on how much data is
already on the player’s memory). Each directory can hold up to 99 recordings.
Please ensure that you have sufficient battery power before recording.
7. Briefly press the Mode button to save to file.

Playback mode
1. Press and hold the Play button until the player turns on.
2. Long press the Mode button to enter the main menu.
3. Press the Prev/Next button to select the Voice mode.
4. Briefly press the Mode button to enter the Voice mode.

5. Press Play button to start playing;
6. Press the +/- button to increase/decrease the volume.
Setting up the system
1. Press and hold the Play button until the player turns on.
2. Press the Mode button for 2 seconds to enter the main menu.

3. Press the Pre/Next button to select the Setting mode.
4. Briefly press the MODE button to enter Setting up system.
The Settings available are:
Equalizer, Repeat mode, Contrast, Backlight, Power set, Record set, Language, Exit.
EQUALIZER:
To access the 6-timbre equalizer, go to the Equalizer in the Setting menu and briefly press
the MODE button to confirm.
Use Prev/Next to select the desired Equalizer.

Short press MODE button to confirm;
The choices are: Normal, Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz, Bass.
REPEAT Mode
This allows you to repeat track or shuffle their play order.
In the Setting menu go to the Play mode.
Short press the Mode button to confirm.

Use Pre/Next button to select the Repeat mode.
The choices are:
Normal, Repeat one, Repeat all, Shuffle Repeat, Dir normal, Dir All normal, Dir shuffle
repeat.
Briefly press the Mode button to confirm your selection.
Normal
After playing the songs in the current folder, the player will
continue to play those in the next folder and will continue to play
all the songs in all the folders. When all the songs have been
played, it stops playing.
Repeat One Play an individual song repeatedly.
Repeat All Play all songs in all folders repeatedly.
Random(shuffle) Play all songs in the current folder in random order.
