Safety:
• Do not immerse the housing body in water.
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet while the appliance is operating.
• Never fill the drawer with oil.
• Do not touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating.
• Do not use the appliance if there is any damage to the plug, cord or other parts.
• Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
• Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
• Always make sure that the plug is inserted into the wall socket properly.
• When cleaning or storing, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the
socket (pull on the plug, not the cable).
• Do not connect the appliance to an external timer switch.
• Do not place the appliance on or near combustible materials such as a tablecloth or
curtain.
• Do not place the appliance against a wall or any other appliance. Leave at least 10cm of
free space around the appliance.
• Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
• Do not let the appliance operate unattended.
• Keep hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and air outlets. Be careful of hot
steam and air while removing the pan from the appliance. Any accessible surfaces may
become hot during use.(Fig. 2)
• Immediately unplug the appliance if you see dark smoke.
• Wait for the smoke emission to stop before you remove the pan from the appliance.
• The basket becomes extremely hot when it is used in the air fryer. Always use
oven gloves when handling the basket.
• Ensure that the appliance is placed on an even and stable surface.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
-staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
-farm houses;
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
-bed and breakfast type environments.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. To
protect children from the dangers posed by this electrical appliance, make sure that the
cable is out of reach and that children do not have access to the appliance.
• The warranty is invalid if the appliance is used for professional or semi-professional
purposes, or if it is not used according to instructions.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, power cable or appliance itself is damaged.
• If the power cable becomes damaged, you must have it replaced by a
professional as to avoid a potential hazard.
