PANEL ASSEMBLY LAYOUT
Display Area
The panel assembly has two display areas. The inner text display provides information for setting, programming and
diagnosing the oven. The outer display shows mode, temperature and time.
OK Knob
The OK Knob rotates clockwise and counter-clockwise to display different options, and to adjust temperature. The
Push the OK knob to select an option. To access special modes including Gourmet, Slow Roast, My Recipes, Keep
Warm, Self-Cleaning, and User Settings, pres the OK knob when no mode is active.
Buttons
Warm -
The Warm button is a short cut button to the special mode of Keep Warm. When the Warm mode is on, the
Warm icon illuminates, the convection fan comes on, and the oven heats to 175° F. The temperature does not
display in Warm mode. The Off button does not cancel the Warm mode. To turn Warm mode off, press the
Warm button again.
Light - No Icon
Press the Light button to turn the lights on or off. If the door is closed, the button turns the oven cavity lights on
or off. When the oven door is opened, turning on the lights, the Light button turns the oven cavity lights off.
Closing the door resets the oven cavity lights so that when the door is opened again, the lights come on.
Temp -
Press the Temperature button to adjust the temperature when a mode is active. The temperature icon and the
the temperature flash. Adjust temperatures up or down. Press the OK knob to select the displayed temperature.

Mode -
When the Mode button is pressed all the mode icons illuminate and the Bake icon and Temperature icon
flash. Press the Mode button until the desired mode flashes.
Rotate the OK knob until the desired temperature is displayed. Press the OK knob. The oven cavity begins to
heat, the convection fan comes on for the appropriate mode, and the exhaust valve closes for the appropriate
mode.
Timer -
When the Timer button is pressed the Timer icon flashes. Turn the OK knob until the desired time between one
second and nine hours, 59 minutes is displayed. At ten minutes the display changes from minutes and sec-
onds, to hours and minutes, or the reverse when the timer is counting down. Press the OK knob when the
desired time is displayed. The Timer icon remains illuminated. When the timer expires the Timer icon flashes,
and the alarm sounds. Press the Timer button to turn the timer off. The timer operates independently from
the oven with the exception that if the timer is operating while a cooking mode is active, pressing the Off button
turns off the oven and the timer.
Time -
When the Time button is pressed the Time icon and the hour place holder in the time flashes. Turn the OK knob
to set the correct hour. Press the OK knob or the Time button to enter the hour and move to the minutes place
holder. The minute place holder flashes. Turn the OK knob to set the correct minute. Press the Time button to
return to the hour setting or press the OK knob to enter the minute setting and exit setting the time.
Off - No Icon
When the Off button is pressed any active mode or function is cancelled, and the oven returned to stand-by.
SHOWROOM MODE AND DIAGNOSTIC MODE
Demo-Modus (Showroom Mode)
To turn Demo-Modus on, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.
Press and hold in order Light, OK knob, and Off buttons for ten seconds. (See Figure 2-2). Demo-Modus -1.
Off appears in the display.
Rotate the OK knob until Demo-Modus - On appears in the display. (See Figure 2-3).2.
Press the OK knob to enter Demo-Modus. (See Figure 2-4). 3.
Press the Off button to exit the configuration mode. (See Figure 2-5).4.

Diagnostic Mode
Diagnostic Mode shows error information, operating information, and version information. All error codes appear on
the display when they occur in the oven.
To enter Diagnostic Mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed, or in error mode, with an error mes-
sage displayed.
Press and hold in order, Light and OK knob for ten seconds. Diagnostic Mode - Error history appears1.

Gourmet
Use Gourmet to prepare any of the foods listed in the chart below. Select the food and the desired doneness and
the climate sensor determines the amount, shape and consistency of the food, and adjusts time, temperature and
humidity to cook the food correctly. After serveral minutes the unit displays the time when the food is ready.
Gourmet mode works best when you start with an oven at room temperature.
To enter Gourmet mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.

Slow Roast
Use Slow Roast with the probe to cook various cuts of Veal, Beef, Pork, or Lamb. The probe temperature has stan-
dardized settings, or can be adjusted to a preferred doneness. The cooking time is determined by the type of meat,
type of roast, and the desired doneness. The display shows the time the cooking ends and can be adjusted to a
future time.
To enter Slow Roast mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.
Press the OK knob. 1.

My Recipe
Use My Recipe to store cooking programs that are used frequently. Ten recipes can be stored, with each recipe hav-
ing up to nine steps. Each step allows the mode, temperature, and duration to be set individually. Any mode
accessed through the Mode button can be used.
To enter My Recipe mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.
Press OK knob. 1.
Rotate the OK knob to My Recipe.2.
Press the OK knob.3.
Rotate the OK knob to the desired recipe. Unprogrammed recipes state Empty on the display.4.
Press the OK knob for the selected recipe. 5.
Rotate the OK knob to display the desired option for the recipe and press the OK knob.6.

Use Keep Warm to hold food at 175° F for a set time.
01. To enter Keep Warm mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.
02. Press OK knob.
03. Rotate the OK knob to Keep Warm.
04. Press the OK knob.
05. On the display 175° F, start, and 30 minutes appear.
06. Press the Time button and 30 minutes flashes.
07. Rotate the OK knob to set the operation time of Keep Warm.
08. Press the Time button a second time and the switch-off time flashes. The switch-off time is the cur-
rent time plus the operation time.
09. Rotate the OK knob to the desired time that you want Keep Warm to stop. The time must be in the
future.
10. Press the OK knob to enter the new switch-off time.
11. Press the OK knob to start the Keep Warm mode.
12. Press the Off button at any time to pause the Keep Warm mode.
13. Press the Off button a second time to end the Keep Warm mode.

Self-cleaning
Use Self-cleaning to clean the oven. You have the option of lightly soiled that runs for one hour and thirty minutes
and heavily soiled that runs for two hours.
To enter Self-cleaning mode, the oven must be off, with only the time displayed.
01. Press OK knob.
02. Rotate the OK knob to Self-cleaning.
03. Press the OK knob.
04. Rotate the OK knob to amount of cleaning desired.

b. heavily soiled
05. Press the OK knob.
06. Press the Time button and the switch-off time flashes. The switch-off time is the current time plus
the self-cleaning time.
07. Rotate the OK knob to the desired time that you want Self-cleaning to stop. The time must be in the
future.
08. Press the OK knob to enter the new switch-off time.
09. Press the OK knob to start the Self-cleaning mode.
10. Press the Off button at any time to pause the Self-cleaning mode.
11. Press the Off button a second time to end the Self-cleaning mode.
