 Das Gerät niemals öffnen. Es beﬁnden sich keine vom Benutzer zu wartende

Teile im Geräteinnern, jedoch tödliche Spannungen. Dies gilt auch, wenn Sie

das Gerät reinigen oder an den Anschlüssen arbeiten.

 Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das dem Gerät beiliegende Netzteil. Es dürfen

 Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Inbetriebnahme der Raumtemperatur anglei-

chen, insbesondere wenn das Gerät betaut oder starken Temperaturschwan-

kungen ausgesetzt war.

 Das Gerät darf nur in gemäßigtem Klima betrieben werden.

 Das Gerät darf nur in trockenen Räumen betrieben werden. In feuchten

Räumen oder im Freien besteht die Gefahr von Kurzschlüssen (Achtung:

Brandgefahr) oder elektrischen Schlägen (Achtung: Lebensgefahr).

 Das Gerät darf keinem Tropf- oder Spritzwasser ausgesetzt werden. Es dürfen

keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gegenstände wie Vasen auf das Gerät

gestellt werden

 Der Netzstecker dient im Service- als auch im Gefahrenfall als Trennvor-

richtung von der Netzspannung und muss deshalb jederzeit erreichbar und

benutzbar sein. Nach Anschluss des Netzteils an die Netzspannung ist das

Netzteil in Betrieb.

 Wählen Sie den Montage- bzw. Aufstellort so, dass Kinder nicht unbeaufsich-

tigt am Gerät und dessen Anschlüssen spielen können. Der Montage- bzw.

Aufstellort muss eine sichere Verlegung aller angeschlossenen Kabel ermög-

lichen. Stromversorgungskabel sowie Zuführungskabel dürfen nicht durch

irgendwelche Gegenstände beschädigt oder gequetscht werden.

 Das Gerät nur auf ebenem, festen Untergrund betreiben und gegen unbeab-

sichtigte Bewegungen entsprechend sichern.

 Setzen Sie das Gerät niemals direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus und vermeiden

Sie die direkte Nähe von Wärmequellen (z. B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogerä-

te, Kamin etc.) Bei Geräten, die Kühlkörper oder Lüftungsschlitze haben, muss

daher unbedingt darauf geachtet werden, dass diese keinesfalls abgedeckt

oder verbaut werden.

 Sorgen Sie für eine großzügig bemessene Luftzirkulation um das Gerät.

Damit verhindern Sie mögliche Schäden am Gerät sowie Brandgefahr durch

Überhitzung. Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass Kabel nicht in die Nähe von

Wärmequellen (z.B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.) kommen.

Das Gerät muss bei Wandmontage mit mindestens 5 cm Freiraum entlang

aller 4 Seiten montiert werden. Bei 19-Zoll-Rack-Montage muss mindestens

einen Freiraum von 5 cm vor und hinter dem Gerät gegeben sein.

 Verwenden Sie keine Flüssigreiniger oder Spühreiniger zum Reinigen.

 Insbesondere ist die Gewährleistung und Haftung ausgeschlossen für die Fol-

gen fehlerhafter Benutzung, bei unsachgemäß vorgenommenen Änderungen

oder Instandsetzungsarbeiten durch den Kunden. Benutzen Sie das Gerät

Verwendungsbereich:

Der DCC 1-00 ist ein Kanalkonverter für digitale Audio-Rundfunksignale.

Eingang und Ausgang können auf 38 DAB-Kanälen 5A bis 13F eingestellt

werden. Die Ausgangs- und Eingangsfrequenzen können im Frequenzbereich

174,928 bis 239,200 MHz im DAB-Kanalraster eingestellt werden.

Montage und Anschluss

 Vor Montage und Anschluss Gerät vom Netz trennen!

Der DCC 1-00 kann an der Wand montiert werden. Er ist dazu mit vier

Montagelöchern ausgestattet (1).

Hinweis: Das Gerät muss bei Wandmontage mit mindestens 5 cm Freiraum

entlang aller 4 Seiten montiert werden.

 Montieren Sie das Gerät auf einer senkrechten, ebenen Fläche.

 Das Gerät mit vier passenden Schrauben an der Wand befestigen.

Anschluss an der Antenne

 Der DCC 1-00 verfügt über eine IEC-Buchse (1). Verbinden Sie diese mit der

DAB/DAB+ Antenne. Verwenden Sie hierfür hochgeschirmte Koaxialkabel

mit IEC-Anschlusssteckern.

HF-Ausgang

 Verbinden Sie den HF-Ausgang (3) mit der vorhandenen DVB-C-

Verteilung. Verwenden Sie hierfür hochgeschirmte Koaxialkabel mit

F-Anschlusssteckern.

Spannungsversorgung

 Verbinden Sie das den Hohlstecker des Netzteils mit dem Gerät (4).

Anwendungsbeispiel:

Das Beispiel rechts zeigt die Umsetzung der terrestrisch empfangenen Kanäle

5C, 5D, 9D und 13A in die Kanäle 7A, 7B, 7C und 7D. Die im Frequenzspektrum

weit verstreuten Kanäle werden in einem DVB-C-Kanal zusammengefasst.

Konﬁguration:

 Hinweis! Während der Konﬁguration kommt es zu Störungen

im Ausgangssignal. Die Störungen verschwinden, nachdem die

Konﬁguration abgeschlossen und die Anzeige ausgeschaltet wurde.

 Der Kanalumsetzer DCC 1-00 wird mit den Tasten UP, DOWN und SELECT

konﬁguriert.

Vorbereiten:

Nach dem Anschließen der Spannungsversorgung, zeigt der DCC 1-00

zunächst kurz die Softwareversion an und geht dann in den „Lock-Modus“,

die LOCK-LED leuchtet, das Display ist ansonsten ausgeschaltet.

 Drücken Sie gleichzeitig UP, DOWN und SELECT.

 Lassen Sie zuerst UP und DOWN und dann SELECT los.

Einstellungen:

 Wählen Sie nun den Eingangskanal mit den Tasten UP und DOWN aus.

 Warten Sie nach der Auswahl des gewünschten Eingangskanals etwa

5Sekunden, bis die LOCK-LED auﬂeuchtet und der Kanal gespeichert ist.

 Drücken Sie SELECT.

 Wählen Sie nun den Ausgangskanal mit den UP- und DOWN-Tasten aus.

 Warten Sie nach der Auswahl des gewünschten Ausgangskanals etwa

5Sekunden, bis die LOCK-LED auﬂeuchtet und die Kanalnummer

gespeichert ist.

 Drücken Sie SELECT.

 Stellen Sie nun den Ausgangspegel mit den UP- und DOWN-Tasten ein

(L 0...-20 dB).

 Warten Sie nach der Auswahl ca. 5Sekunden warten, bis die LOCK-LED

auﬂeuchtet und die Dämpfung gespeichert ist.

Die Konﬁguration ist jetzt fertiggestellt. Der DCC 1-00 geht nach wenigen

Sekunden in den Lock-Modus, nach einigen weiteren Sekunden wird das

Display bis auf die LOCK-LED wieder ausgeschaltet.

Safety advices:

 The installation of the device and repair work on the device must be carried

out only by a professional in accordance with the applicable VDE directives.

In case of incorrect installation, no liability is assumed.

 Never open the device. There are no parts to be maintained by the user inside

the device, however, lethal voltages are present. This also applies to cleaning

the device or working on the connections.

 Use only the the enclosed power supply unit. Never replace any parts or

make any and the power supply unit. Otherwise, there is a risk of death.

 If a replaceable fuse is available, pull out the mains plug before replacing

the fuse. Replace defective fuses only by standardized fuses with the same

nominal value.

 If you intend not to use the device for a longer period of time, we recom-

mend you to completely disconnect the device from the mains for safety

reasons and for saving energy by pulling out the mains plug.

 Let the device adjust to the room temperature before commissioning, in

particular if condensation is present on the device, or if it was exposed to

large temperature ﬂuctuations.

 The device must be operated only in moderate climate.

 The device must be operated only in dry rooms. In damp rooms or outdoors,

there is a risk of short-circuits (attention: risk of ﬁre) or electrical shocks

(attention: risk of death).

 The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. Do not place

objects ﬁlled with liquids such as vases on the device.

 The mains plug is used as a disconnecting device from the mains voltage

both during service and in case of danger and must therefore be reachable

and usable at all times. After connection to the mains, the power supply is in

operation.

 Select the mounting or installation location such that children cannot play

near the device and its connections without supervision. The mounting or

installation location must allow a safe installation of all connected cables.

Power supply cables and supply cables must not be damaged or squeezed by

any objects.

 Operate the device only on a ﬂat, ﬁrm surface and protect it against uninten-

tional movements.

 Never expose the device to direct solar irradiation and avoid direct vicinity of

heat sources (e.g. heaters, other electrical appliances, ﬁreplace, etc.). It must

be always ensured that devices with cooling elements or ventilation slots are

not covered or obstructed.

 Ensure generous air circulation around the device. This will prevent possible

damage to device and risk of ﬁre due to overheating. It must be always

ensured that cables are not located near heat sources (e.g. heaters, other

electrical appliances, ﬁreplace, etc.). The unit must be wall mounted with at

least 5 cm clearance along the 4 sides. For 19-inch rack mounting, there must

be at least 5 cm clearance in front of and behind the unit.

 Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleansers for cleaning.

 In particular, the warranty and liability shall be excluded for the consequen-

ces of incorrect use, in case of incorrect modiﬁcations or repair work carried

out by the customer. Use the device only as described in the operating

instructions and in particular according to the state-of-the-art.

Field of application:

The DCC 1-00 is a channel converter for digital audio broadcasting signals.

Input and output can be set on 38 DAB channels 5A to 13F. The output and

input frequencies can be set in the frequency range 174.928 to 239.200 MHz

in the DAB channel raster.

Mounting and Installation:

 Before mounting and installation, pull the mains plug!

The DCC 1-00 can be mounted on the wall. It is equipped with four mounting

holes (1).

Note: The unit must be wall mounted with at least 5 cm clearance along all 4

sides.

 Mount the device on a vertical, ﬂat surface.

 Attach the device to the wall with at least four matching screws.

Installation of DAB/DAB+

 The DCC 1-00 has an IEC socket (2). Connect it to the DAB/DAB+ antenna.

Use high-shielded coaxial cables with IEC connectors.

RF output

Connect the RF output (3) to the existing DVB-C distribution. Use high-shielded

coaxial cables with F connectors.

Power Supply

 Insert the barrel connector into the 12 VDC socket. (4).

Application example:

The example on the right shows the conversion of the terrestrial received

channels 5C, 5D, 9D and 13A into the channels 7A, 7B, 7C and 7D. The

channels widely scattered in the frequency spectrum are combined into one

DVB-C channel.

Conﬁguration:

Note! There are interferences in the signal during programming. The

interferences disappears after programming is ready and display is switched

off.

The DCC 1-00 is conﬁgured with the buttons UP, DOWN and SELECT.

After switching on

After connecting the power supply, the DCC 1-00 brieﬂy shows the software

version and then goes into „lock mode“, the LOCK LED lights up, the display

is otherwise switched off.

 Press UP, DOWN and SELECT at the same time.

 Firstly release UP and DOWN and then SELECT.

 Now select the input channel with the UP and DOWN buttons.

After selecting the required input channel wait about 5 seconds until the

LOCK-led lights up and the channel is stored.

 Press SELECT.

 Now select the output channel with the UP and DOWN buttons.

After selecting the required output channel wait about 5 seconds until

the LOCK-led lights up and the channel is stored.

 Press SELECT.

 Now adjust the output attenuation of the output level with the UP and

DOWN buttons (L 0...-20 dB).

 After selecting the required value of attenuator wait about 5 seconds

until the LOCK-led lights up and the level is stored.

The conﬁguration is now complete. The DCC 1-00 goes into lock mode after

a few seconds, after a few more seconds the display is switched off again

except for the LOCK LED.
