■ Do not dry unwashed items in the dryer.

■ Donotusethisdryerifindustrialchemicalshavebeen

usedforcleaning.Thepossiblepresenceofresidual

quanesofaggressiveordecomposedchemicalsin

theloadmayproducedamagetothedryerandharmful

fumes.

■ Donotallowchildrentoplayonorinthedryer.Close

supervisionofchildrenisnecessarywhenthedryeris

used near children.

■ Thisdryerisnotintendedforusebypersons(including

children)withreducedphysical,sensory,ormental

capabilies,orlackofexperienceorknowledge,

unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstrucon

tobefullyopened.

■ Addionalspacingshouldbeconsideredforeaseof

installaonandservicing.Thedooropensmorethan180°.

■ Addionalclearancesmightberequiredforwall,door,and

oormoldings.

■ Addionalspacingof25mm(1")onallsidesofthedryeris

recommended to reduce noise transfer.

sleepingquarters.Contactyourlocalbuildinginspector.

Recessed Area and Closet Installation Instructions

Thisdryermaybeinstalledinarecessedareaorcloset.This

dryermustnotbeinstalledbehindalockabledoor,asliding

door,oradoorwithahingeontheoppositesidetothatof

thedryer.Forrecessedareaandclosetinstallaons,minimum

clearancescanbefoundonthewarninglabelontherearofthe

dryerorin“Dimensions/Clearances.”

Theinstallaonspacingisinmillimetersandistheminimum

allowable.Addionalspacingshouldbeconsideredforease

ofinstallaon,servicing,andcompliancewithlocalcodes

and ordinances.

Ifclosetdoorisinstalled,theminimumunobstructedair

openinginthetopandboomisrequired.Louvereddoors

withequivalentairopeningsareacceptable.

Thedryermustbeexhaustedoutdoors.

Nootherfuel-burningappliancemaybeinstalledinthesame

closet as the dryer.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT: Observeallgoverningcodesandordinances.

Thisdryerissuppliedwithoutanelectriccordandplug.Itmust

beconnectedbyacompetentelectriciantoasingle-phase

electricitysupplyatthevoltageshownonthedataplate,using

asuitablexedwiringinstallaoninaccordancewithlocaland

naonalwiringregulaons.

■ A3-wirecircularcordofminimumconductorsize2.5mm

cross-seconareashouldbeused.

■ A30Asupplyfuseshouldbeused,andaswitchhaving

acontactseparaoninbothpolesthatprovidesfull

disconneconunderover-voltagecategoryIIIcondions

mustbeincorporatedintothexedwiringinaccordance

withlocalwiringregulaons.Thedryershouldbe

posionedsothatthedisconneconswitchisclearlyvisible

andeasilyaccessibletotheuser.Thisdisconneconswitch

alsoprovidesthefunconofanemergencystopcontrolfor

the user.

■ Acordclampbushisprovidedonthedryer,andshouldbe

ghtenedoncompleonofwiring.Theelectricalmains

terminalsarelocatedbehindthesmallrearaccesspanel

(terminalblockcover),andconneconsshouldbemade

inaccordancewiththeterminalmarkings.Rememberto

replacetheterminalaccesspanel(terminalblockcover).

Ifthesupplycordisdamaged,itmustbereplacedwitha

speciallyterminatedcordbyanauthorizedserviceagent

orasimilarlycompetentpersoninordertoavoidahazard.

Taketapeofrontcornersofdryer.Opendryerandremove

theliteratureandpartspackages.Wipedruminteriorwith

dampclothtoremoveanydust.

Taketwocardboardcornersfromthedryercartonandplace

themontheoorinbackofthedryer.Firmlygraspbodyofthe

dryerandgentlylayitonitsbackonthecardboardcorners.

keepexhaustinbalancewithinmainvent.Unobstructedreturn

airopeningsarerequired.

Eachventshouldenterthemainventatananglepoinngin

thedireconoftheairow.Ventsenteringfromtheopposite

sideshouldbestaggeredtoreducetheexhaustedairfrom

interfering with the other vents.

Themaximumangleofeachvententeringthemainvent

Keepairopeningsfreeofdrycleaninguidfumes.Fumes

4. Whendryerislevelandallfourlegsarermlyincontact

withtheoor,usea25mmor1"open-endoradjustable

wrenchtoturnjamnutscounterclockwise(asviewedfrom

above)onlevelinglegsghtlyagainstdryercabinet.

HELPFUL TIP: Youmaywanttopropdryerwithwooden

block.

3. Ifdryerisnotlevel,usea25mmor1"open-endor

adjustablewrenchtoturnjamnutsclockwise(asviewed

fromabove)onlegsunltheyareabout13mm(1/2")

fromthedryercabinet.Thenturnthelevelingleg

counterclockwisetolowerthedryerorclockwisetoraise

thedryer.Rechecklevelnessofdryerandthatallfourlegs

arermlyincontactwiththeoor.Repeatasneeded.

HELPFUL TIP: Youmaywanttopropupfrontofdryer

about102mm(4")withawoodblockorsimilarobjectthat

willsupportweightofdryer.

buon.Usingafullheatcycle(nottheaircycle),letthe

dryerrunforatleastveminutes.Dryerwillstopwhen

meisusedup.

NOTE:Dryerdoormustbeclosedfordryertooperate.

Whendoorisopen,dryerstops,butmerconnuesto

run.Torestartdryer,closedoorandpushSTARTbuon.
