DRYER SAFETY
■ Ifdrumrotaonisblockedduetotrappedtexles,
disconnectthedryerfromtheelectricalsupplybefore
gentlyremovingtheblockage.
■ Ifthedryerisnotheang,orappearstobedefecveor
damaged, do not use it. Contact the owner.
■ Donotinstallorstorethedryerwhereitwillbeexposed
to the weather.
■ Donottamperwithcontrols.
■ Cleandryerlintscreenbeforeoraereachload.
■ Donotusethisdryerwithoutthelintscreeninplace.
■ Donotrepairorreplaceanypartofthedryeroraempt
anyservicingunlessspecicallyrecommendedinthis
InstallaonInstruconsorinpublisheduser-repair
instruconsthatyouunderstandandhavetheskills
to carry out.
■ Donotusefabricsoenersorproductstoeliminatestac
unlessrecommendedbythemanufacturerofthefabric
soenerorproduct.
■ Donotuseheattodryarclescontainingfoamrubberor
similarlytexturedrubber-likematerials.
■ Thenalpartofatumbledryercycleoccurswithoutheat
(cool-downcycle)toensurethatthearclesareleat
atemperaturethatensuresthattheitemswillnotbe
damaged.
■ WARNING: Neverstopatumbledryerbeforetheendof
thedryingcycleunlessallitemsarequicklyremovedand
spreadoutsothattheheatisdissipated.(Avoidsriskof
spontaneouscombuson).
■ Incaseofelectricalsupplyfailure,removetheload
quicklyandspreaditouttoavoidriskofspontaneous
combuson.
■ Keepareaaroundtheexhaustopeningandadjacent
surroundingareasfreefromtheaccumulaonoflint,
dust, and dirt.
■ Thefreshairvenlaonopeningsintotheroomandinto
thedryermustnotbeblockedorsealed.
■ Emergencystopcontrol:Themainsplugshouldbe
removed in an emergency.
■ Theinteriorofthedryeranddryerexhaustventshould
becleanedperiodicallybyqualiedservicepersonnel.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
■ Readallinstruconsbeforeusingthedryer.
■ Thisdryerisintendedonlyfordryingclothesandtexles
thathavebeenwashedinwater.Donotuseforany
otherpurpose.
■ Donotplaceitemsexposedtocookingoilsinyourdryer.
Itemscontaminatedwithcookingoilsmaycontributeto
achemicalreaconthatcouldcausealoadtocatchre.
■ Ifitisunavoidablethatfabricsthatcontainvegetableor
cookingoilorthathavebeencontaminatedbyhaircare
productsbeplacedinatumbledryer,theyshouldrst
bewashedinhotwaterwithextradetergent–thiswill
reduce,butnoteliminatethehazard.
■ Donotdryarclesthathavebeenpreviously
cleanedin,washedin,soakedin,orspoedwithpetrol,
dry-cleaningsolvents,otherammable,orexplosive
substancesastheygiveovaporsthatcouldignite
orexplode.
■ Itemsthathavebeensoiledwithsubstancessuchas
acetone,alcohol,petrol,kerosene,spotremovers,
turpenne,waxes,andwaxremoversshouldbewashed
inhotwaterwithextradetergentbeforebeingdried
in the dryer.
■ Do not dry unwashed items in the dryer.
■ Donotusethisdryerifindustrialchemicalshavebeen
usedforcleaning.Thepossiblepresenceofresidual
quanesofaggressiveordecomposedchemicalsin
theloadmayproducedamagetothedryerandharmful
fumes.
■ Donotallowchildrentoplayonorinthedryer.Close
supervisionofchildrenisnecessarywhenthedryeris
used near children.
■ Thisdryerisnotintendedforusebypersons(including
children)withreducedphysical,sensory,ormental
capabilies,orlackofexperienceorknowledge,
unlesstheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstrucon
concerninguseofthedryerbyapersonresponsiblefor
their safety.
■ Before the dryer is removed from service or discarded,
removethedoorstothedryercompartment.
■ Do not reach into the dryer if the drum is moving.
■ Donotopendoorwhiledryerisinoperaon.Itwillstop.
■ Whenloadingorre-loadingthedryer,avoidtouchinghot
metalpartsofthedrum(burnrisk).
