PART TWO: to install the handlebar

Cruise control: ride the e-scooter at a constant speed for more than 6 seconds, you can enter cruise mode. No need to
press the throttle, the e-scooter can keep riding at current constant speed. While press the throttle or brake or
change the speed, the e-scooter will exit cruise mode.

Start: finger-press device on right hand is a throttle apparatus, press it, you can speed up.
Brake: theres a electromagnetic brake on the left of the handle bar, press it, the e-scooter will be stopped.
While pressing, step the rear foot brake can make a more efficient stop.

Step 3: hold the handle bar by hands, put one foot on board,
and push the e-scooter by the other foot to start the e-scooter.
Press the throttle to speed up and balance the scooter while riding.

Any riding vehicle will have safety risk during the riding, including L1 e-scooter. Please learn the safe notice and keep safe
in your riding.L1 is a fashion and portable e-scooter, used for short trips. Please consult local department for laws and
regulations request in public road for some countries and districts, or you can contact with local agent and aftersales service office.
Waring! The brakestemperature will increase when they are working. Do not touch the brakes after they are used.
Do not use in crowds or crowded areas.
Be aware of your own or otherssafety in any circumstances.
Do not use the scooter for other purposes.
Do not reconstruct the scooter.
Be aware of the risk that the electric brake may not work. Please also use the foot brake on the back to avoid the potential risk.
Do not touch the rotating parts on the scooter, like wheels, rotating system, and motor, with your hands, hair,
body part or similar parts while riding.
Please avoid sharp impacts and driving on water surface or other condition-complicated roads.
Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden surface changes.
It is not recommended to ride in the dark areas at night.

Respect the right of way for other people, do not frighten people, especially kids; Slow down and remind pedestrians while riding behind them.
Keep safe distance while there are other e-scooters on the way, do not ride side by side unless there is enough space for pedestrians to go through.
Please make sure you wear helmet, glove ,elbow guard and knelt before riding in case of danger.
Please make sure power is enough and there is no noise and loose problem for the scooter.
Ridding on wet road is forbidden, especially do not ride on ice road and water surface road.
Please do not ride on slopes over 15 degrees.
Please try to avoid suddenly acceleration and slowdown, do not over-tilt or backward your body. Over-speed is not allowed.
When battery power is not enough, please ride at a low speed and charge the scooter as quickly as you can.
If there is a risk of falling while riding, please keep yourself safe and follow the principle of Body safe should be first priority.
Do not ride with your hands in your pocket, in case of any emergency.
Please do not put the L1 e-scooter in the trunk for a long time in high temperature weather.
Please learn local traffic rules and be polite in riding, take notice of people around to avoid any crash.
Please ride the scooter in a safe speed under control.
It is recommended that the users should check the road safety according to the local regulations.
It is recommended to drive on flat, hard, dry and clean cement roads or asphalt roads.
Please avoid driving on water surface, sand beach, gravel pavement and fragmented roads.
Rainy weather will affect the brake system and visibility, please be aware of danger.
Please do not ride in poor light places. If you have to, please slow down and pay more attention.
Please avoid riding backwards, it's dangerous. It can only be accepted to ride a few steps to keep away from sudden block.
Positive safe protection measures:
Before each ride, make sure that all locking parts are locked well (follow instructions to avoid injury during folding and unfolding,
like jamming your fingers)
Before each ride, please carefully check all the screws status, in case of self-locking nut or other fixed parts failures.
Please carefully check if the scooter frame is weld-opening, desoldering, fracture, distortion or other situations. If yes, please do not drive to avoid the danger.
The tire should be inflated well, and has sufficient anti-skid tire treads.
Axle jackets and other protective equipment should be located in place.
Before driving, users should prepare and do the inspections following the manufacturers’ instructions:
Please accelerate slowly to avoid sudden speed, which may cause unbalance, falling down and getting injured. This kind of ride habit is dangerous, most of
accidents result from it.While riding, you may have sudden dangers, so please take good care during your ride. RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND USE COMMON
SENSE. The manufacturer won't take the responsibility because of improper use and do not follow the manual guidance that may cause body hurt.
Please read the manual carefully and understand the content.
Do not let other people ride your L1 e-scooter unless he/she has read the manual carefully.
Safety protection is necessary in riding, please make sure you wear suitable helmets (with hatband), gloves, eye care devices, kneepads and elbows.
Do not ride when you feel uncomfortable or cannot follow the rule and notice of the manual; Also do not ride when you drink alcohol or take medicine.
When battery power is low or scooter keeps alarming or the speed is limited, please get off and charge in time to keep safe.
Do not lift the scooter from the tire position to avoid the harm that fingers may get stuck between tire and cover.
Please exam the scooter before riding, do not ride it when there is loose or damage problems.
Wear helmet, knee pads, gloves, elbow protection and other protective equipment.
Riding places are suitable for safe riding and operation.
Brake system is working well.
The safety label is located in place and easy to understand.
L 1 Ma i n t en a n ce
The bearing will get dirty after a certain times using, which will affect the scooter gliding. Need to remove the bearing and clean.
The normally used cleaners are neutral diesel or kerosene without water. Sometimes use warm lye to clean depending on needs.
Either cleaner with filter should always be kept clean.
The tire should be replaced when it is broken or badly worn. Use allen wrench to replace the tire. First loose the two-side screws with the wrench,
then pull out the lock nut to remove the wheel.

The tire pressure can not exceed 35PSI.
Silicone oil lubrication is recommended.
Use replacement parts which the original manufacturer permits, and make it installed by the distributor or technician.
When the electromagnetic brake is not working, contact the agent for replacing.
Do not put the battery pack where the temperature is over 50 degree or below -20 degree (For example, do not put the scooter or battery pack in the trunk exposed to
the sun). Its not allowed to put the battery pack in fire or it will cause battery ineffective, overheating or getting fire. Other notices for battery maintenance you can
find in the battery notice plate.
If there is blot in the scooter surface, you can clean it with wet soft cloth; and if you cannot remove this hard blot, you should brush the blot
in toothbrush with toothpaste and clean it with wet cloth.
Notice: Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene or any corrosive and volatile chemical solvent to clean the scooter, or it will cause damage
on scooter appearance and inner structure. Spray and brush with high-pressure water gun is prohibited. Make sure the scooter is turned off
when you clean it. Unplug the power cable, close the charge interface, in case of electric shock or serious malfunction due to the water.
When t he e-scooter is not in use, p lease put i t in dry and cool places instea d of outdoor. Exposed to sun or too hot or too cold will
speed the appearance/tir e aging , short the battery lif e.
L1 e-scooter battery pack maintenance
Avoid charging the scooter when power is completely used up, you could charge it when you need, so that you can extend the life of the battery. Besides, using in
normal temperature could make battery function better and extend mileage, and using below 0 degree could affect battery function and short the mileage. Typically,
in the temperature of -20 degree, the mileage could only be a half of in the normal temperature, and when the temperature goes up, the mileage would increase.
Notice: Please charge the scooter every 2 months when it is unused. In case it will cause damage to battery because of over discharge. This over discharge damage is
unrecoverable because there is intelligent IC record the time of battery charge and recharge, and longtime unused and uncharged will lead to charge problem, and
this kind of problem do not in warranty condition( Notice: Unprofessional man is forbidden to detach the battery pack, or it will cause electric shock and short circuit safe accident)
