Avoid touching the antenna area while the antenna is in use. Contact with antennas affects the

communication quality and may reduce battery life due to higher power level during operation.

Do not connect to products that create an output signal, as this may damage the device. Do

not connect any voltage source to the audio connector. If you connect an external device

or headset, other than those approved for use with this device, to the audio connector, pay

special attention to volume levels. Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be

attracted to the device. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the

device, because info stored on them may be erased.

Some of the accessories mentioned in this user guide, such as charger, headset, or data cable,

may be sold separately.

Mini SIM

Belangrijk: Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik met een mini SIM-kaart (zie afbeelding).

Bij gebruik van incompatibele SIM-kaarten kan de kaart of het apparaat schade oplopen en

kunnen gegevens op de kaart beschadigd raken.

Let op: Schakel het apparaat uit en zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet met een lader of een

ander apparaat is verbonden als u covers wilt verwijderen. Vermijd contact met elektronische

onderdelen terwijl u covers vervangt. Bewaar en gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder cover.

Set up your phone

1. Put your fingernail in the small slot at the

bottom of the phone, lift and remove the

cover.

2. If the battery is in the phone, lift it out.

3. Slide the SIM card in the SIM1 slot. If you

have a second SIM, slide it into the SIM2

slot. Both SIM cards are available at the

same time when the device is not being

used, but while one SIM card is active, for

example, making a call, the other may be

unavailable.

4. If you have a memory card, slide it in the

memory card slot.

5. Put back the battery.

6. Put back the cover.

Uw batterij is in de fabriek gedeeltelijk opgeladen maar u moet deze mogelijk opnieuw opladen

voordat u uw telefoon kunt gebruiken.

De batterij opladen

1. Sluit de lader aan op een stopcontact.

2. Sluit de lader aan op de telefoon. Als de telefoon is opgeladen, haalt u de lader eerst uit de

telefoon en vervolgens uit het stopcontact.

Als de batterij volledig is ontladen, kan het enkele minuten duren voordat de batterij-indicator

wordt weergegeven.

Tip u kunt het opladen via USB gebruiken wanneer er geen stopcontact beschikbaar is.

Tijdens het opladen van het apparaat kunnen gegevens worden overgebracht. De efficiëntie

van opladen via USB kan sterk variëren en het kan lang duren voordat het opladen start en het

apparaat gaat werken. Zorg ervoor dat uw computer is ingeschakeld.

KEYPAD

Use the phone keys

• To see the apps and features of your

phone, on the home screen, select Menu .

• To go to an app or feature, press the scroll

key up, down, left, or right. To open the

app or feature, press the scroll key.

• To go back to the home screen, press the

end key .

• To change the volume of your phone,

scroll left or right.

• To switch on the flashlight, on the home

screen, press the scroll key up twice. To

switch it off, scroll up once. Do not shine

the light in anyone’s eyes.

Vergrendel het toetsenblok zodat u niet per ongeluk iets activeert: kies Ga naar >

TEKST SCHRIJVEN

Schrijven met het toetsenblok

Schrijven met het toetsenblok is eenvoudig en leuk.

Druk meerdere malen op een toets totdat de letter wordt weergegeven.

Als u een spatie wilt invoeren, drukt u op 0 .

Als u een speciaal teken of leesteken wilt invoeren, drukt u op * .

Als u tussen hoofdletters en kleine letters wilt schakelen, drukt u herhaaldelijk op # .

Houd de cijfertoets ingedrukt als u een cijfer wilt invoegen.

4 Oproepen, contacten en berichten

CALLS

Een oproep plaatsen

Ontdek hoe u met uw nieuwe telefoon een oproep kunt plaatsten.

1. Voer het telefoonnummer in. Als u het voor internationale oproepen gebruikte +-teken wilt

invoeren, drukt u tweemaal op *.

2. Druk op . Selecteer welke SIM u wilt gebruiken als hierom wordt gevraagd.

3. Als u de oproep wilt beëindigen, drukt u op .

Een oproep beantwoorden

Druk op .

Tip: Als u zich in een situatie bevindt waarbij u de telefoon niet kunt beantwoorden en u snel

het geluid wilt dempen, selecteert u Stil .

CONTACTS

Add a contact

Save and organize your friends’ phone numbers.

1. Select Menu >  > Add .

2. Write the name, and type in the number.

3. Select Save .

To add more contacts, select Options > Add new contact .

Save a contact from call log

1. Select Menu >  > Missed , Received , or Dialled , depending on from where you want to

save the contact.

2. Scroll to the number you want to save, select Options > Save , and select where you want

to save the contact.

3. Add the contact’s name, check that the phone number is correct, and select Save .

Call a contact

You can call a contact directly from the contacts list.

Select Menu > , scroll to the contact you want to call, and press the call key.

SEND MESSAGES

Write and send messages

1. Select Menu >  > Create message .

2. In the To field, enter the number of the

recipient, or select Add > Contacts to

add recipients from your contacts list.

3. Write the message on the message field.

4. To insert images to the message or to

use predictive text, select Options . To

insert smileys or symbols, select Options

> Insert options

5. Select Send .

CHANGE TONES

Set new tones

1. Select Menu >  > Tones .

2. Select which tone you want to change and select for which SIM card you want to change it, if

asked.

3. Scroll to the tone that you want and select OK .

CHANGE THE LOOK OF YOUR HOME SCREEN

Choose a new wallpaper

You can change the background of your home screen.

1. Select Menu >  > Display settings > Wallpaper .

2. Select Default , scroll to the wallpaper you want, and select View

3. If you like the wallpaper, select Choose and then select how you want to position the

wallpaper on the home screen.

Tip: You can also use a photo you’ve taken or received as wallpaper. Select Menu >  >

Display settings > Wallpaper > Photos .

Show date and time

You can select to see date and time on the home screen of your phone.

Select Menu >  > Date and time > Show date and time > On .

If you want your phone to update the time automatically, set Auto-update time on.

Tip: You can also set your phone to show the time even in the idle mode. Select Menu >  >

Display settings > Glance screen > On .

PROFILES

Your phone has different profiles for different situations. You can edit the profiles to your

liking.

Profielen personaliseren

Er zijn meerdere profielen die u in verschillende situaties kunt gebruiken. Er is bijvoorbeeld een

stil profiel voor wanneer u geen geluid aan kunt hebben en een buitenprofiel met harde tonen.

U kunt profielen als volgt personaliseren.

1. Kies Menu >  > Profielen .

2. Kies een profiel en Aanpassen .

U kunt voor elk profiel een bepaalde beltoon, bepaald beltoonvolume, bepaalde

berichtgeluiden enzovoort instellen.

ADD SHORTCUTS

You can add shortcuts to different apps and settings on your home screen.

Edit Go to settings

On the bottom left of your home screen is Go to , which contains shortcuts to various apps

and settings. Select the shortcuts that are the handiest for you.

1. Select Menu >  > Go to settings .

2. Select Choose options .

3. Scroll to each shortcut you want to have on the Go to list and select Mark .

4. Select Done > Yes to save the changes.

You can also reorganize your Go to list.

1. Select Organise .

2. Scroll to the item you want to move, select Move and where you want to move it.

3. Select Back > Yes to save the changes.

GET THE MOST OUT OF THE TWO SIM CARDS

Your phone can have two SIM cards, and you can use them for different purposes.

Select which SIM card to use

Select Menu >  > Connectivity > Dual SIM .

• To choose which SIM to use for calls, select Default SIM for calls , and select Always ask , or

SIM1 , or SIM2 .

• To choose which SIM to use for messages, select Default SIM for msgs , and select

Always ask , or SIM1 , or SIM2 .

6 Camera

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

You don’t need a separate camera when your phone has all you need for capturing memories.

Take a photo

1. Select Menu > .

2. To zoom in or out, scroll up or down.

3. To take a photo, select .

To see the photo you just took, select  > Photos .

Options for the camera

Select Menu >  > , and select the option you want, such as Brightness or Image effects .

Record a video

1. Select Menu > .

2. Scroll left and select .

3. To stop the video, select .

To see the video you just recorded, select  > Videos .

BROWSE THE WEB

Connect to the internet

1. Select Menu > .

2. Write a web address, and select Go .

3. Use the scroll key to move in the browser.

BLUETOOTH®

Connect your phone to other devices with Bluetooth.

Switch on Bluetooth

1. Select Menu >  > Connectivity > Bluetooth .

2. Switch Bluetooth to On .

3. Select Active to find a new device or Paired to find a device you have paired your phone

with previously.

8 Muziek

MUSIC PLAYER

You can listen to your MP3 music files with the music player.

Listen to music

1. Select Menu > .

2. Select whether you want to view your songs, artists, albums, or playlists.

3. Scroll to a song, and select Play .

To adjust the volume, scroll up or down.

Tip: To set a song as ringtone, select Options > Use as tone .

LISTEN TO RADIO

Connect a compatible headset to your phone. It acts as an antenna.

Search for radio stations

1. Select Menu > .

2. To search for all available stations select Options > Auto tuning .

3. To switch to a saved station, scroll left or right.

SET THE TIME AND DATE MANUALLY

You can set your phone clock manually.

De tijd en datum wijzigen

1. Selecteer Menu >  > Tijdinstellingen .

2. Stel Datum/tijd aut. aanp. in op Uit .

3. Blader omlaag en selecteer Klok om de tijd in te stellen. Gebruik de bladertoets om de tijd

in te stellen en selecteer OK .

4. Blader omlaag en selecteer Datuminstelling om de datum in te stellen. Gebruik de

bladertoets om de datum in te stellen en selecteer OK .

WEKKER

Ontdek hoe u de wekker kunt gebruiken om wakker te worden en ergens op tijd te kunnen

komen.

Een alarm instellen

Geen klok in de buurt? Gebruik uw telefoon als een wekker.

1. Selecteer Menu >  > Alarmen instellen .

2. Een alarm selecteren.

3. Blader omhoog of omlaag als u het uur wilt instellen. Blader naar rechts en vervolgens

omhoog of omlaag als u de minuten wilt instellen.

4. Selecteer OK .

u het uur wilt instellen. Blader naar rechts

en vervolgens omhoog of omlaag als u de

minuten wilt instellen.

5. Selecteer OK .

CALCULATOR

Ontdek hoe u met de calculator van uw telefoon kunt optellen, aftrekken, vermenigvuldigen en

delen.

De calculator gebruiken

1. Kies Menu > .

2. Voer de eerste factor van uw berekening in, kies met de bladertoets de bewerking die u wilt

uitvoeren en voer de tweede factor in.

3. Selecteer = om het resultaat van de berekening te krijgen.

Kies Wissen om de nummervelden leeg te maken.

RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS

Uw telefoon opnieuw instellen

Ongelukken kunnen gebeuren en uw telefoon reageert mogelijk niet meer. U kunt de

oorspronkelijke fabrieksinstellingen terugzetten maar wees voorzichtig omdat deze reset alle

gegevens die u in het telefoongeheugen hebt opgeslagen en al uw personalisatie verwijdert.

Als u uw telefoon weggooit, bent u zelf verantwoordelijk voor het verwijderen van al uw

persoonlijke inhoud.

U moet de beveiligingscode hebben om de oorspronkelijke instellingen te herstellen. Als u de

oorspronkelijke instellingen van de telefoon wilt herstellen en al uw gegevens wilt verwijderen,

typt u *#7370# op het startscherm.

1. Selecteer Menu >  Fabrieksinstell. herstellen .

2. Voer de beveiligingscode in. Er is geen bevestiging meer nadat u OK hebt geselecteerd,

maar de telefoon wordt opnieuw ingesteld en alle gegevens worden verwijderd.

Houd u aan alle lokale wetgeving. Houd tijdens het rijden altijd uw handen vrij om het voertuig

te besturen. De verkeersveiligheid dient uw eerste prioriteit te hebben terwijl u rijdt.
