BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and its accessories (container, lid, lid plug
and tamper). Wash the accessories in hot, soapy water and then
wipe them dry with a paper towel.
Position the blender on a flat and level surface.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open the container and fill with your favorite ingredients. All the
ingredients must be filled below the jar’s “MAX” level mark. For
optimal results please keep the size of the ingredients small.

liquid under 1/3 of the total capacity of the container.
3. Use the lid and lid plug to close the container.
4. Place the container on top of the motor base and make sure it is
aligned on the centering pad. The rubber pad helps stabilize the
container during blending.
5. Make sure the On/Off switch is on the “Off” position and the
speed dial is on the lowest setting.
6. Insert the power plug into the outlet.
7. Switch the On/Off switch to the “On” position to start blending.

9. Use the Pulse function to blend hard or frozen ingredients. The
pulse function allows you to blend with short bursts of power at
the highest speed.
Note: The Pulse function shouldn’t be used continuously for more
than 1 minute.
10. If needed, use the tamper to accelerate the
process of thick or frozen mixtures that may be
difficult to blend otherwise. Use the tamper to
press ingredients into the blades while the
machine is running.
Note: Always use the tamper when the main part
of the lid is in place. Do not use more than 30
consecutive seconds. The tamper may need to
be pointed toward the side or corner of the
container in order to help the ingredients
circulate.
11. When done blending, turn the speed dial to the lowest setting
and then turn the On/Off switch to the “Off” position.
12. Unplug the appliance.

DO NOT blend continuously for more than 3 minutes. Wait for the unit
to cool down before blending again. The appliance should rest for a
minimum of 1 minute after 3 minutes of use.
If making nut butters or oil-based foods, do not process for more than
one minute after the mixture starts to circulate in the container.
Processing for longer periods can cause dangerous overheating.
13. Pour your freshly blended drink or preparation in a glass or
separate container. First, lift to remove the jar from the motor
base. Then, remove the lid. Finally, pour the mixture in another
container.
Note about ice crushing:
For best results, fill the jar with ice cubes at about ½ of its capacity
and add 1 cup or 1 ½ cups of water. Press the pulse button a few
times until desired consistency. Use the tamper to move the ice
cubes if necessary. Do not operate continuously for more than 5
seconds. Drain the extra water if necessary.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Make sure to clean the appliance after each use!
For regular cleaning, fill the container half full with warm water
and a coupe drops of liquid dish washing detergent to the water.
Place the container on the motor base and make sure the lid is
placed securely on top of the unit.
Select the lowest speed setting and switch the On/Off switch to
the “On” position.
Gradually increase the speed up to the highest speed and run
the blender for 30 to 60 seconds.
