• Do not leave vacuum cleaner when plugged in. Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before

• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If vacuum cleaner is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors,

or dropped into water, return it to a service center before using.

• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run

vacuum cleaner over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

• Do not use extension cords or outlets with inadequate current carrying capacity.

• Turn off all controls before unplugging.

• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.

• Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands.

• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may

reduce airflow.

• This vacuum cleaner creates suction and contains a revolving brushroll. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body

away from openings and moving parts.

• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.

• Do not use without dust bag or filter(s) in place.

• Belt pulleys can become hot during normal use. To prevent burns, avoid touching the belt pulley when servicing the drive belt.

Allow it to cool.

• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.

• Store your cleaner indoors in a cool, dry area.

• Keep your work area well lighted.

• Unplug electrical appliances before vacuuming them.

• Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting either hose, wand or motorized nozzle.

• Hold plug when rewinding onto cord reel. Do not allow plug to whip when rewinding.

• The hose contains electrical wires. Do not use when damaged, cut, or punctured. Avoid picking up sharp objects.

• Brushroll could suddenly restart. Unplug before servicing.

FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a

polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified

electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.



This vacuum cleaner has a special thermostat that protects the cleaner in case of motor overheating. If the cleaner suddenly shuts

off, push the on/off switch off (0) and unplug the cleaner. Check the cleaner for a possible source of overheating such as a full dust

bag, a blocked hose or clogged filter. If these conditions are found, fix them and wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to use

the cleaner. After the 30 minute period, plug the cleaner back in and push the on/off switch on (l). If the cleaner still does not run,

then take it to a Electrolux Authorized Service Center for repair.

 Do not leave cleaner plugged in and

unattended. Store cleaner in a cool, dry area.

1. Open the cover by pulling the button. Check that the

s-bag® is in place.

2. Insert the hose (to remove it, press the lock buttons

and pull the hose out).

3. Attach the telescopic tube to the oor nozzle (to

remove it, press the lock button and pull the nozzle

off).

4. Attach the telescopic tube to the hose handle (to

remove it, press the lock button and pull the hose

handle out).

5. Adjust the telescopic tube by holding the lock with

one hand and pulling the handle with the other hand.

6. Pull out the power cord and plug it into the outlet.

7. Switch on/off the vacuum cleaner by pushing the

ON/OFF button.

8. Models with remote control can also be operated by

the ON/OFF button on the handle.

9. Adjust suction power. Models with manual regulation

Push +/- button with your hand to adjust suction

power.

10. Adjust suction power. Models with remote control.

The cleaner starts in auto-function (automatic suction

power regulation). To regulate manually press

MIN/MAX button.To go back to auto-function, press

AUTO button.

11. Models with remote control and motorized nozzle.

To turn the motorized nozzle on and off, press BRUSH

button on the handle.

12. After vacuuming rewind the cable by pushing the

REWIND button.



7. Démarrer/arrêter l’aspirateur en appuyant sur le bouton

marche /arrêt.

8. Les modèles avec télécommande* peuvent également

être mis en marche ou arrêtés à l’aide du bouton

marche /arrêt se trouvant sur la poignée du exible.

9. Régler la puissance d’aspiration. Modèles à commande

manuelle*. Pour régler la puissance d’aspiration,

appuyer sur le bouton +/-.

10. Régler la puissance d’aspiration. Modèles avec

télécommande*. L’aspirateur démarre en mode

automatique (réglage automatique de la puissance

CAUTION: Use ‘Brushroll OFF’ setting for wood, tile, or

other hard-surface oors. Do not use ‘Brushroll ON’ setting

for hard-surface oors, as the brush roll could damage

Hard Floors:

Use the Aeropro Nozzle (1).

Carpets: Use the power nozzle (2). (Brushroll ON)

Crevices, corners, etc.: Use the crevice tool (3).

Curtains, lightweight fabrics, etc.: Use the

dusting brush (4). Reduce suction power if necessary.

Frames, bookshelves, etc.: Use the dusting

brush (4).

Upholstered furniture: Use the upholstery tool (5).

The power nozzle is ideal for all types of carpeting because

of the deep cleaning brushroll. It works great on bare oors

when the brushroll is turned off.

After connecting the power nozzle to the wand and hose,

turn on the canister and the brushroll for carpet cleaning

(page 6).

The cleaning height can be adjusted by pressing on the

height adjustment pedal located on the rear of the hood

(Fig. A).The height indicator will change from low to medium

to high as you make the adjustment. Use the lowest setting

that still allows easy maneuvering on the carpet. Release

the handle by pressing down on the handle release button

(Fig. B). Step down on wand release pedal to pull the pieces

apart (Fig. C).

 Do not use the power nozzle on the fringes of

rugs without rst turning off the brushroll.

Turn off the cleaner when it is not in use. Do not let the

power nozzle stand in one place while running for an

extended period as it could cause carpet damage. Avoid

running the power nozzle over the cleaner’s power cord.



Cette tête motorisée convient parfaitement à tous les

franges de tapis avant d’avoir arrêté la brosse rotative.

Arrêter l’aspirateur quand il n’est pas en service. Ne pas

laisser la tête motorisée tourner de façon prolongée

au même endroit, cela pourrait endommager la moquette.

Éviter de faire passer la tête motorisée sur le cordon

électrique de l’aspirateur.



 Turn off the switch and unplug the electrical

cord before servicing.

For service not described in this manual, take to Electrolux

Authorized Service Center for repair.

1. Change the dustbag when the s-bag® indicator is

illuminated.

2. Open the dust compartment cover by pulling the

3 in 1 button.

3. Pull the cardboard handle to close and remove the

s-bag®

4. Insert a new s-bag® by pushing the cardboard

straight down in its tracks. Close the lid. If the s-bag®

is not properly placed or is missing, the lid will not

close.



The lters must always be replaced with new ones and

cannot be washed.*

5. Replace the HEPA lter when the “lter” indicator is

illuminated. If the HEPA lter is non-washable, replace

it with a new one. If the lter is washable rinse it in

cold running water. Ensure it is totally dry before

replacing.

6. Open the rear lid lifting the two lower wings marked

“lter”, pull it backwards and change the lter. Use

Electrolux original s-lters.

7. To close the lid, insert the front hooks in the rails, push

the lid forward and press down.



should be done with every 3rd replacement of the s-bag™.

8. Replace the motor lter when dirty or after every 3rd

s-bag®. Push the lter holder down and pull it out.

Exchange the lter and close the lid.



 Unplug the cleaner before replacing belt. Belt

pulleys can become hot during normal use. To prevent

burns, avoid touching the belt pulley when servicing the

drive belt. Allow it to cool.

9. Flip power head over onto its top and remove the four

screws marked by numbers A, B, C, D in Fig. 6. Pull

up and rotate forward to release the base plate. (A

snapping sound is normal.)

10. Lift out brushroll and remove old belt.

11. Place new belt around brushroll motor pulley.

12. Place other end of the belt around the brushroll. Insert

the belt end of the brushroll back into the case,

followed by

the other end.

13. Reinstall the cover by “snapping” it back into place

and replacing the four screws.

Use GENUINE ELECTROLUX replacement belt EL097.

*A washable lter can be purchased as an option.



 Mettez l’interrupteur sur arrêt (« OFF ») et

4. Mettre en place un nouveau sac à poussière s-bag®

en poussant la partie cartonnée tout droit vers le bas,

dans les rails. Fermer le couvercle. Si le sac à

poussière s-bag® n’est pas correctement positionné

ou s’il est manquant, il est impossible de fermer le

couvercle. Ne jamais forcer pour le fermer.



Vous devez toujours remplacer les ltres usagés par des

ltres neufs ; il est impossible de les laver.*

5. Remplacer le ltre HEPA lorsque le voyant « lter » est

allumé. Si le ltre HEPA n’est pas lavable, le remplacer

par un ltre neuf. Si le ltre est lavable, le rincer à

l’eau.

6. Ouvrir la grille arrière en soulevant les deux ailes

inférieures marquées « lter », le tirer vers l’arrière et

changer le ltre. Utiliser les ltres d’origine Electrolux

de la gamme s-lter.

7. Pour fermer la grille du ltre, insérer les crochets

avant dans leurs rails, repousser la grille vers l’avant

et appuyer dessus.



Effectuer cette opération tous les 3 remplacements du sac

à poussière s-bag™.

8. Remplacer le ltre moteur lorsqu’il est sale ou après

3 changements de sacs à poussière s-bag®. Pousser

la grille du ltre vers le bas et sortir le ltre. Changer le

ltre et fermer le couvercle.



 Déprisez l’aspirateur avant de remplacer la

courroie. Les poulies de la courroie peuvent être chaudes à

la suite d’une utilisation normale. Pour éviter de se brûler,

ne pas toucher les poulies de la courroie lors de la

manipulation de la courroie. Laissez-le refroidir.

9. Retourner la brosse rotative et retirer les 4 vis

marquées A, B, C, D sur la Fig. 6. Tirez vers le haut et

tournez vers l’avant pour libérer la plaque de base. (Il

est normal qu’un bruit sec se fasse entendre.)

10. Retirez la brosse rotative en la soulevant et retirez la

courroie usée.)

11. Placez la courroie neuve autour de la poulie du

moteur de brosse rotative.

12. Placez l’autre bout de la courroie autour de la brosse

rotative. Introduisez le côté avec la courroie de la

brosse rotative dans le boîtier, et continuez avec

l’autre côté.

13. Remontez le couvercle en l’enclenchant en place et

introduisez les quatre vis.

1. Cambie la bolsa de polvo cuando se encienda el

3. Tire del asa de cartón para cerrar y extraer la bolsa

s-bag®

4. Para insertar una nueva bolsa s-bag® empuje el

cartón recto hacia abajo en las guías. Cierre la tapa.

Si la bolsa s-bag® no está colocada correctamente o

falta, no se cerrará la tapa.



Los ltros deben cambiarse por ltros nuevos

porque no se pueden lavar.*

5. Cambie el ltro HEPA cuando se encienda el indicador

“lter”. Si el ltro HEPA no es lavable, cámbielo por

uno nuevo. Si el ltro es lavable, enjuáguelo con agua.

6. Para abrir la tapa posterior, levante las dos aletas

inferiores marcadas con “lter”, empújela hacia atrás

y cambie el ltro. Utilice ltros originales de Electrolux

s-lter.

7. Para cerrar la tapa, inserte los ganchos frontales en

las guías, empuje la tapa hacia delante y presiónela.



Haga esto cada vez que haya cambiado la bolsa para el

polvo s-bag™ por 3 vez.

8. Cambie el ltro del motor cuando esté sucio o cada

3 bolsas s-bag®. Presione el soporte del ltro y

tire de él. Cambie el ltro y cierre la tapa.



 Desenchufe la aspiradora antes de reemplazar

la correa. Las poleas de las correas pueden calentarse

durante el uso normal. A n de evitar quemaduras, evite

tocar la polea de la correa cuando esté reparando la correa

motriz. Deje que se enfríe.

9. Invierta el cabezal de potencia y desmonte los cuatro

tornillos marcados con los números A, B, C, D en la

Fig.6. Jale hacia arriba y gire hacia delante para

destrabar la placa de base. (Un sonido de chasquido

es normal).

10. Levante el cepillo giratorio y retire la correa usada.

11. Coloque la correa nueva alrededor de la polea del

motor del cepillo giratorio.

12. Coloque el otro extremo de la correa alrededor del

cepillo giratorio. Inserte el extremo de la correa del

cepillo giratorio nuevamente en la carcasa, seguido

por el otro extremo.

13. Reinstale la cubierta colocándola a presión en su sitio

e insertando los cuatro tornillos.

Use la correa de reemplazo o ORIGINAL de ELECTROLUX

EL097.

Your Electrolux cleaner is warranted to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of 3 years. In addition, the motor is

covered for a period of 7 years. The warranty is granted only to the original purchaser and members of his or her immediate household. The warranty is subject to the

following provisions.

This warranty does not cover parts of the cleaner that require replacement under normal use, such as disposable dust bags, fans, filters, drive belts, light bulbs,

brushroll bristles, impellers and cleaning. Any damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner’s Guide are not

covered by this warranty. Likewise, any defects or damages caused by unauthorized service or the use of other than Genuine Electrolux parts is not covered.
