Grill pan + grill pan trivet
(drip pan)
Insert the trivet onto one of the shelf positions.
Then slide the grill pan underneath. This pan
catches cooking juices and fat from grilled food. It
can also be used half filled with water as a double
boiler.

• Parboiled potatoes and vegetables can be placed around the edge of the grill pan to roast
at the same time.
• Place the cradle on the middle shelf and position with the ”v” shape at the front.
• To help insert the spit, the handle can be screwed onto the blunt end.
• Rest the spit onto the cradle with the pointed end towards the back and gently push un-
til the tip of the spit entres the turning mechanism at the back of the oven. The blunt end
of the spit must rest on the “v” shape.(The spit has two lugs which should be nearest to the
oven door so to stop the spit going forward, the lugs also act as a grip for the handle.)
• Before cooking unscrew the handle. After cooking screw the handle back on to help re-
move the spit from the cradle.
• The other end of the handle has a “flower shape” which can be used to unscrew the “key”
on the forks to loosen them.
Rotisserie
To use it:
• Place the grill pan (no trivet) at level n°1 to
collect the cooking juices or on the bottom of
the oven if the piece of meat to be roasted is
too big.
• Slide one of the forks onto the spit; put the
piece of meat to be roasted onto the spit ;

Safety recommendations
Please read these instructions before installing and using your oven.
The oven has been designed for domestic use only for cooking food. No asbestos
has been used in its construction.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Before you use your oven for the first time, take all the shelves etc out and with
the door closed, select the fan function at 240°C and heat for 45 minutes. This
“burns the oven off”. During this time there may be some smell from the mineral
wool that insulates the oven and there could be some smoke. This is perfectly
normal.
NORMAL USE:
- Always close the door properly. The oven is fitted with a seal designed to
work with a closed door.
- Never lean or let anyone sit on the oven door when it is open.
- The oven door and surrounding areas can become hot when using the
double or single grill as the door must be left ajar. For foods that require long per-
iods of grilling it is recommended to use the turbo grill at 200°C with the door clo-
sed.(see section 8 - cooking methods)
- When the oven is on it will get hot. Take care not to touch the heating ele-
ments inside the oven.
- Always protect your hands with oven gloves or something similar when
removing food, accessories or containers from the oven.
- Do not line your oven or grill pan with kitchen foil. The metal will increase
the heat produced and could ruin the food and damage the enamel.
Always check that the oven is off before you clean the inside.
- During self-cleaning, surfaces can become hotter than in
normal use. Children must be kept at a distance.
HINTS AND TIPS
• Keep all oven shelves etc out of the oven when not in use to allow maximum use
of the oven and to keep them clean.
• When using the combined, eco conventionnal and keep warm functions never
pla-
ce dishes, trays grill pans on the base of the oven. There is an element located un-
der the base of the enamel which could be damaged if anything is place on the base
Ensure that the function selector is returned to 0 to re-use your
oven.

Before connecting your oven, make sure you are using the
correct size cable.
Use a 16-amp fuse.
The electrical connections are made before the oven is installed in its housing.
• The oven must be connected using an approved 3-core cable (live, neutral and
earth) with 1.5 mm square conductors. This should be connected via a 3- pin-
socket (live, neutral, and earth to the main supply which should be should be a
220-240V, alternating single-phase current. If the oven is not connected using a
plug and socket, it must be connected to a multi-pole switch with a minimum gap
of 3 mm between contacts. The earth wire (green and yellow) should be
connected to the terminal marked with the earth symbol on the appliance and to the
earth in the switch.
• Where the oven is connected using a separate plug and socket this must be
accessible after the oven has been installed.
•The neutral wire (blue) of the oven must be connected to the neutral in the main supply.

• The supply cable (H05 RR-F, H05 RN-F or H05 W-F) must be long enough to allow
the oven to rest on the floor in front of its housing.
With the oven sitting on the floor and disconnected:
• Open the trapdoor at the bottom right hand side at the back of the oven by re-
moving the 2 screws and swinging the door away.
• Remove the sheath from each wire in the new cable up to 12 mm.
• Twist the ends carefully together.
• Unscrew the terminal screws and remove the wires that need changing.
• Pass the new cable through the wire clamp to the right of the terminals.
• Connect the wires up in accordance with the markings on the terminals.
• Make sure all wires are trapped under the screws.
• The brown wire (live) going to terminal marked L.
• The green and yellow wire (earth) going to the one marked .
• The blue wire (neutral) going to the terminal marked N.
Tighten the screws and check, by tugging on each wire, that they are firmly connected.
• Tighten the clamp to hold the cable.
• Close the trapdoor using the two screws.
Changing cables
We cannot accept any liability in the event of an accident
resulting from non-existent or faulty earthing.

If you are unsure about fitting this oven yourself please use a
qualified electrician.
The oven may be housed either under a work surface or built into a
column that is open* or closed with a suitable opening.
Your oven works at its best and produces excellent results when cooking and clea-
ning itself, if its air circulation is not compromised:
• The oven must be centred in the unit so that there is a minimum distance of
5 mm between it and the surrounding unit.
• The housing unit or its outer surface must be capable of withstanding heat.
• To ensure the oven rests firmly in the housing, screw it to the housing unit using
the holes on the side uprights provided (see diagram).
To do this:
1) Remove the rubber stoppers masking the fixing holes.
2) To prevent the housing unit splintering, drill two holes 3 mm in diameter in the wall of the
housing unit opposite the fixing holes.
3) Attach the oven using the two screws.
4) Conceal the hole using the rubber stoppers. (These also help to cushion the
closing of the oven door).
(*) If the housing unit is open at the back, the gap must not be more
than 70 mm.

Temperature settings graduate from 40°C to 300°C and are fixed so they click into
position when turned to the selected temperature. You cannot cook in between
these temperatures so if a recipe suggests an in between temperature always
select a lower temperature and then increase if necessary.

The count-down starts as soon as you stop pres-
sing the + and - buttons.
• The oven heats up and the temperature light
glows.
The cooking time symbol glows steadily and the
time of day is displayed again.
When the cooking time is over (the pre-program-
med time ends),
- The oven switches off,
- The cooking time symbol goes out,
- The display shows 0:00
- The oven gives a series of bleeps for several minutes.
To stop the bleeper, press any button on the oven front. The time is displayed
again.
b) How to delay the start for a timed
cooking period
(you set the oven to cook for a
certain length of time and to turn the oven off after a
certain time).
• Set the temperature and select the cooking
method.

• Now press once on the SET button.

It is possible to :
- Change the cooking time at any moment.
- Consult the remaining cooking time at any moment by pres-
sing on the "SET" button
- Cancel the programmed cooking cycle at any moment by holding
the "SET" button pressed in until you hear a beep
.
Caution: At this point, in both of the previous cases your oven will
now start heating.
To turn off the heat, set the thermostat and the function selec-
tor to "0".
If you forget to enter a time straightaway, the oven automatically assumes one.
The oven works out when to switch on so that the food finishes cooking at the
time selected.
When the oven switches on, the end of cooking symbol will
go out and the cooking time symbol will come on.
At the chosen time for the cooking to stop
- The oven switches off,
- The cooking time symbol goes out,
- The display shows 0:00
- The oven gives a series of bleep for several
minutes.
To stop the bleeping, press any of the buttons on the

How to cook Economically*
The screen should only display the time of day and should not be flashing.
If the clock display is flashing the oven will not work.
• Turn the function selector to the " " position.
• Place your dish in the oven following the recommendations
shown in the cooking guide.
• Turn the thermostat knob to a temperature of your choice.
The diagram shows 200°C but any of temperatures on the dial
can be selected.
After carrying out these actions the oven begins heating.
The thermostat indicator goes out when the temperature
has been reached.
For optimal "ECO" cooking, do not carry out preheating and
do not open the door.
*This position allows you to make a 20% saving in
energy while at the same time achieving identical cooking results.
The ECO position is used for the energy label.

Your oven is also equipped with a minute minder which
operates fully independently of the oven, making it pos-
sible to "count down" a chosen amount of time. In this
case, the "count down" on the display takes priority over
displaying the time and date.
• Press several times on the "SET" button until the timer
indicator and the corresponding display start flashing.
7.Using the minute minder ?
• Set the chosen time by pressing the + or - buttons. Adjust-
ment is in 30-second increments and the time displayed is in
minutes/seconds.
Holding the button pressed in makes it possible to rapidly
scroll through the times.
The countdown begins several seconds after adjustment
has been carried out and is permanently visible on the display.
When the timer has finished counting down the chosen
time, it issues a series of beeps (displaying 0:00). You can
turn off the beeps by pressing once on the button of your
choice.
It is possible to modify or cancel the programmed timer setting
at any time.
