USING THE PLANTER
The Rain Barrel has a built in planter to make it e
ven more beautiful. To use the
planter,
simpl
y drill (using a drill and ¼" drill bit) holes at the bottom of the planter. Fill
the planter with soil and place plants inside.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The Barcelona rain barrel was designed to fill a watering can. It is recommended that you
build a platform (E.g. out of bricks) to raise the Barcelona, in order to improve the water flow
out of the hose and the spigot. To water directly from the barrel, it is recommended that you
purchase a pump upgrade kit.
To divert the water away from your foundation, simply connect the 1.5” piece of tubing to the
overflow and run it away from the rain barrel . The second overflow can be used for linking
rain barrels together.
During the winter months you should drain any water inside the Rain Barrel. You ma
y
want to bring your Rain Barrel inside to protect it from the elements but this is not necessary.
The unique design of the Rain Barrel allows it to withstand extreme weather. T
o
over-winter, simply remove the bottom shut off cap and allow the barrel to drain on the
ground, away from your foundation.

vered by the Warranty. The Warranty covers
manufacturers defects onl
y. The Warranty does NOT cover neglect or owners misuse.
If any parts are missing from your Rain Barrel please fax proof of purchase and shipping
address to 519-623-7206 with the name or description of the missing part, so it can be sent out.
If the Rain Barrel is defective it must be sent back to the supplier at the cost of the consumer with
proof of purchase to cover any warranties
